  1. Solidus was a bit surprised when she had sad nopony had ever asked her about her favorite quote. He thought being an artist and writer, he thought she might have one. But somepony's just don't have a favorite. Or maybe she just didn't have the time. But it didn't really matter to Solidus. He didn't want to make her think of something on the spot, so he laughed it off. "It's alright, I don't really have a favorite either. I've ran across too many good ones that I can't choose." He smiles. "But I kinda want to get to know more about you, actually. ..If you don't mind, that is. I don't want to force you to say something you didn't want to share." He knew that feeling all too much, and he had hated it. With a great passion.
  2. "Well, that's good to know." Solidus said. "If you weren't having fun, it'd be a little awkward. Or at least I'd think so." He let out a sigh of relief. He was afraid that after a while of not really talking to other ponies, he'd become a sort of antisocial, or uninteresting. But he had to worry no longer, since he was sure the two of them were having fun. "What's you're favorite quote?" He asked, with a smile across his face. It was a question out of the blue, but he thought it best to get to know her as much as he can, while she's still here.
  3. "Yeah, can't argue with that." Solidus said. Suddenly, something hit him. Not physically, but he realized he wasn't feeling down anymore. He came in the tavern with a sorrow, and now he felt great. Just having fun. He looked at Trinity, and smiled. The mare had made his day, not only with her personality and kindness, but with her art. Then Solidus looked over at Lingo. She was the one responsible for him ever talking to Trinity. He looked back at Trinity. "Thanks..for being so fun and entertaining. It really got me in a better mood." He forgot all about what had happened to his last special somepony. She didn't matter to him anymore. She was simply the past now. As soon as he said "killed", Solidus' attention momentarily turned to him. Working privately for Princess Luna as an intel gatherer, he noticed important talk when it was spoken. He continued his chat with Trinity, but kept his eye on him.
  4. "It may not be important, but it would spread a lot of happiness. I'm sure of it." It had made his day. It's been so long since he's seen anything that good. But then again, he doesn't go to displays or anything. He likes to randomly come across things to make him smile at that moment. Life was always better in his opinion when there were surprises to make the day a bit better.
  5. Solidus was happy that Trinity enjoyed what he had drawn. "I didn't think you would have..it's my hometown. Manehattan. I..drew it because you're always welcome there. If you do run into it, you should drop by my place." He continued to gaze into the drawing Trinity had made. He was still baffled. "Like it is a great understatement! I'd say this is probably the best art I've ever looked at! You should have a museum or something!" A museum entered Solidus' imagination. Art. Everywhere. And below the pictures could be a soundtrack of the song made with it. And the story would be next to the headphones. But he stopped daydreaming, and smiled.
  6. Ughh, tired of working 3rd shift. Work all night, and sleep all day, just to work all night again. Hardly any time to post. :(

  7. I'm not exactly sure you would say this is a motto, but it's something I live with in mind. "When a man lies, he murders a part of the world. These are the pale deaths, in which men miscall their lives. All this I cannot bear to witness any longer. Cannot the kingdom of salvation take me home?" -Metallica, To Live Is To Die, ...And Justice For All
  8. Everyday. I say "Eeyup" the most, since it's most common. But I say "20% Cooler", "10 seconds flat", "FOREVVVERRR", and "yesyesyesyesyesyesyes". I've also said once, Rarity's "This is whining..(this middle part was relevant to what I was COMPLAINING about)..but I thought you wanted whining" speech.
  9. Solidus noticed Trinity was trying to look at his drawing. "And I..." he started to say, when a grin appeared on his face, "made this for you." He then looked at what the artistic mare had drawn for him, and he was in complete awe. He also realized she had called him a friend. That made him feel good. "This is really...there are no words..." he said, with his eyes glued to the paper. He couldn't explain how incredible it looked, and he played the tune she had hummed while she drew it. It blew his mind.
  10. I'd say mine are either... Van Halen by Van Halen (their first, self-titled album) ...And Justice For All by Metallica Mesmerize/Hypnotize by System of a Down (Double album) Creatures of the Night by Kiss One of those. All are extremely great.
  11. Hearing the softly hummed song, Solidus smiled and listened. The song relaxed him very much so. As he made the final stroke of his pen, he leaned back to look at what he had drawn. It was a picture of Trinity walking the streets, with her wagon behind her, in Solidus' hometown: Manehattan. A wheel was drawn to appear newer than the rest. Although he knew she probably hasn't been there, due to the many multiverses, he decided to use that place to resemble the friendship they had. Although he hadn't known the mare long, he still considered Trinity a friend. The drawing may have not been perfect, but it was the best one he'd ever drawn. He was proud of it. He grinned, then looked over to see Trinity drawing. He attempted to get a look at what she was drawing.
  12. "Perfect! Thank you so much!" He chuckled a bit, then grabbed a piece of paper. Solidus had no idea what was going to appear on the paper, but he grabbed his pen and started drawing. He was extremely amused, and was hoping whatever he was creating would be something great. He noticed she, too, had a pen. He wondered what she was going to create.
  13. Solidus had forgotten that the game had a wager. Unable to remember the score, he assumed her math was right. ..but what could he want? He thought about what all he could actually receive. She's an artist. She couldn't have too much. He looked at the pen he had taken out earlier. "You have a piece of paper?" He had a big smile on his face. It didn't seem like much, but it's what he really wanted right now.
  14. "Well, that pretty much answers my question." Solidus smiled at her. "I just wondered what it must be like, traveling all the time. Sounds interesting." Solidus was not sure what he should say, since he had ended the game. He played the situation off as smoothly as he could by shifting positions a keeping a smile on his face.
  15. Solidus had a blank face. "If you don't mind me asking..." he started to say, after a moments thought, "why didn't you stay with the others?" Were they just the wrong crowd, or do you prefer being alone? He kept thinking of questions to ask, but he never asked them. He waved for Lingo to swing by. He decided he wanted that cider after all.
  16. Solidus looked down as he thought about his question. Well, not so much the question, as much as the answer. He looked up at Trinity. "Have you ever had anyone travel with you, or have you been roaming across the land by yourself?" He quickly looked back down. He never felt so nervous or shy before. He almost didn't want to ask it, but if he didn't..he would never know anything about what he was wondering about.
  17. That story was very impacting!!!! Thanks for sharing this! Friendship is honestly one of the most important things anyone could ever ask for in life, and some people just take it for granted. I'm glad you have such a great friendship! I honestly am having a hard time finding words to say, and I think right now, all I can do is agree with your story's message.
  18. "Well, your sparkling eyes and the way you try to hide your blush make it kind of impossible to think otherwise." Solidus always did prefer the more shy, modest type. Solidus was surprised when the mare had told him that she had been in trouble. He wish he had been able to stop the robberies, but there was no way he could prevent them. But hearing she stood up for a friend put out a sense of comfort and trust. Solidus nodded his head 'no'. "I tend to keep to myself. Plus, I'd rather get to know the mare before I flirt." He had a more serious look than before. Solidus really does keep to himself quite a bit. He only really speaks up if somepony needs his assistance. Other than that, he's kind of just there. Having not drank anything in a while, he became a bit thirsty. He was debating whether or not to order something. He was thinking just a normal cider. But he never acted on his desire.
  19. Solidus raised his eyebrow and rubbed his chin with his hoof. Well, I know she's too shy to start anything with somepony, and she's too kind and gentle to get in trouble with authorities...he thought. But then the idea of robbery came into mind, but it was quickly thrown away. Who would steal art supplies? he asked himself. "Alright, I believe you. Surely a cute mare like you doesn't get herself into trouble." He smiled, thinking he was right.
  20. Solidus started to think for another question to ask, as he placed his hooves on the table. "In your days of traveling, have you ever gotten in serious trouble?" Solidus noticed that the new unicorn also decided to try the radigator cider. Hopefully he'll be alright he thought. Better keep an eye on him.
  21. Well hey there! Consider yourself introduced! You can call me Preaxial You say you're shy? Perhaps you are a Fluttershy fan?? Anyways, this is the perfect way to get out of that shell and explore the friendship of magic! Sounds like you're artistic, so maybe we'll see some fanart in the near future Anyways, welcome to the MLP Forums! Hope you have a blast!
  22. Solidus chuckled a bit. "Sorry, but everything about that is fake. I don't even have a brother." He stopped, and thought about when he was growing up. He always wanted a sibling..somepony to grow up with. He was upset that he lied, especially over something like this. If Solidus did have a brother, it would have been safe to say that they'd be stuck together. But it was a game, meant to have fun. He shrugged it off, and let out a fake grin, hoping Trinity would go on with the game so they could continue having fun. "Thanks, it means a lot." Solidus smiled at the kind pony. He was unsure about when they were going to get to repairing the wheel, and thought about going ahead and getting it out of the way. ..But he was having fun, and he hoped that Trinity was too. So he left it alone.
  23. "Is that so?" Solidus was a bit surprised, yet he understood the situation. He grinned. "Yes, I have actually. Back when I was younger, me and my brother decided to dye our manes lime green." He explained. "He thought it was cool at the time, and I didn't want to be left out." He eased up, and waited to see if Trinity had thought he was telling the truth or lying.
  24. Solidus saw the purple unicorn barge in. Wondering why the unicorn had blocked the doorway and why it had looked like she had traveled in a forest for quite some time, he gave a confused look. He observed the purple pony looking around. ...Must have been in some kind of hurry..maybe somepony else was chasing her. Feeling that it wasn't really his place to welcome her, he sat there and continued his game with Trinity.
  25. Solidus had no idea if this was true or not. She looks like a pony who knows her boundaries, and doesn't get out of them often...but it sounds so bizarre, that it may just be true... he thought. After a couple of seconds, he came up with an answer. He didn't want to take too long for an answer, it was just a game. Solidus put his hooves together. "I'm going to say...that probably never happened." He chuckled a bit. He was relaxed and having a good time.
