Fable shook her head, "It's not a problem. I was just deep in thought." She admitted, "Her name is Emerald Heart, and she is quite the talker. She loves having people get along cation, but will also gladly beat somepony to a pulp if they insulted or hurt one of us." She shook her head and chuckled again, "Emerald is unique in her own way. Very sarcastic, very blunt, she tends to seem frightening on your first impression. But she's such a kind mare. I wouldn’t give her up for the world."

Amy: "Like a secret club?"

Penny: "No! Just like a place to spend time that we don't tell anyone else about."

Amy: "...and what would be a shorter way of saying that?"

Penny: "Secret club."

Fable chuckled lightly, and shook her head, "It's quite amusing." She said, "How much you sound like my best friend right now. She's quite the protective and caring one as well." Fable mused. 

I'm from Texas, and the furthest I've been away from home was when I lived in South Africa as a kid.

Fable nodded and cossed her feint hooves, "It's perfectly fine. I just need to clear something up for you " She took in a deep breath then sighed, "I appreciate what you are trying to do, but I cannot smile. It's strange, yes, but I do not have the ability to smile. So really, you trying to make me do so is impossible." Fable explained, "It doesn't necessarily mean that I am unhappy, though. Does this make sense?"

And there's a Tex-Mex restaurant by my house that serves the BEST Queso Blanco.

I love Queso blanco, aka "White cheese."

It's absolutely yummy with tortilla chips.
