Thank you so much, Jeric, I really appreciate your kind words. I think I may have mentioned topology in our discussions in the past -- that branch of mathematics has long held a particular intrigue for me. That's very kind of you, thank you. If I can ever be of help with trigonometry or anything else, please always feel free to send me a message about it and I will gladly do all I can to help. Regarding the differential equations topics you mentioned, I have had a decent amount of exposure to them but those are among the most challenging concepts for me personally in the study of elementary differential equations. Admittedly, while I have out of interest looked at 3rd order and higher ordinary differential equations, I have little to no experience attempting to solve them. I do have some experience with change of variables, power series methods and ODEs with non-constant coefficients, but these were topics I learned toward the tail end of the class I took and among some of the most challenging. Please feel free to PM me any time if you would like assistance with any problems or these topics in general, and I will gladly do so -- I may just need to review the subject further and do a couple practice problems just to make sure my understanding is sufficient. In regard to tensors -- they are definitely an advanced topic. I don't know what level they are introduced in a physics or engineering class setting, but in regard to approaching them from a more purely mathematical angle they are typically omitted from first courses in modern algebra or related subjects, unless you're taking a very advanced first course. I would recommend studying linear algebra first, at minimum. Possibly some abstract algebra as well. I have read about tensors out of interest, but my mathematical maturity isn't at a point yet where I'm able to fully understand what I'm reading. The main thing I've gotten out of it so far is that they build on more fundamental notions of vectors and scalars and allow for deeper study and generalizations.

Hi, everyone. Regrettably, I have made many posts in my distant past on MLP Forums that severely contradict with my faith in God and our Lord Jesus Christ, as well as who I am as a person. For those who may remember some of my old posts, please know that I completely and utterly rebuke so-called "New Age" spirituality. In my past, I allowed myself to become deceived and entertain legitimacy for a wide range of "New Age" spiritual ideas that are all satanic lies and deception. At some point I want to make a forum or blog post explaining these issues and my walk with God and understanding in more detail, but that will not be the main focus of this post. Rather, I just wish to open by proclaiming my eternal love for our Lord Jesus Christ. I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior, and I believe that through Him is the one and only path to salvation. I believe that Jesus Christ is God, and that He came to us, sacrificed Himself for us and for our sins so that through Him we may be saved, and on the third day rose again and ascended unto Heaven, and lives eternally. I believe that God sent His Holy Spirit to live with and in us, guiding us and comforting us in all things. I believe that God has already triumphed over satan and that his destiny is set in stone. I believe we are living in an age of deception unrivaled by any age throughout all of human history, an age made possible by the widespread applications of subversive technology and socioeconomic/political/structural paradigms. I believe that the only way to be delivered from the gulf of deception that encompasses the world is through faith in Jesus Christ. Through Him, and only Him are we delivered. In the future I may post more details about the many ways in which God touched my life, my heart and my soul to lead me out of the maze of deception I had previously ensnared myself in. But in this post, I just wanted to share a brief summary of my beliefs, and I also would like to share some verses from the Holy Christian Bible with everyone. I do not have a favorite verse because I believe the Holy Christian Bible is divinely inspired by God, and is therefore infallible, and every verse is immeasurably essential and precious in all respects. One of the many things I want to improve on is spending more time reading the Bible, and in particular to try to spend time reading it every day. The human soul cannot be contained on any kind of technological device. People in today's society who are pushing evil, unnatural ideas like transhumanism (which would include things like attempting to clone yourself or upload your consciousness to a machine) are extremely deceptive and manipulative. Transhumanism is one of the worst evils we face in the world today, but our society has been being primed and programmed to accept it blindly by the rampant and aggressive proliferation of atheism, scientific materialism and moral relativism. The mechanics of modern society are finely tuned by those in power to brainwash people from the day they are born all the way until the day that they die, feeding people lies to make them believe that God isn't real, the soul doesn't exist, science can explain everything, and morality is relative. When people are tricked into believing that morality is some kind of relative or subjective entity, it becomes malleable and able to be transformed into whatever suits the objectives of those in power. One of the many reasons why mass communications have been meticulously molded to encourage the regression and degradation of Christian truth in society today is to prime people to blindly accept transhumanism as some kind of beneficial tool for humankind, some kind of key to an imaginary stage of evolution. All transhumanism will do will bring destruction to our civilization because it is one of the most unnatural acts that can occur, in the same class as atomic weaponry. As atomic weapons are an unnatural abomination that split some of the most funding building blocks of Creation, transhumanism attempts to separate human consciousness and sentience from the human soul which is even more unnatural to a greater degree than any of us truly understand. People need to open their eyes and understand that technological progress for the sake of progress is extremely dangerous, regressive, and harmful, and is used as an excuse to bring technology into our world that should never have existed in the first place. As soon as people attempt to dismiss the truth of God and the soul, there is a vacancy waiting to be filled by the devil and demonic ideas, the vast majority of which are wrapped in countless layers of deception so that the masses will be convinced they are participating in something good or positive when in truth they are doing the exact opposite. So no, I would not ever allow myself or my loved ones to participate in human cloning or transhumanism of any kind. I will never accept the mark of the beast. Every characteristic has a spectrum of severity so it's not feasible to compare arrogance and hypocrisy in a complete sense. However, generally speaking, and putting aside the extremes found in both characteristics, in my opinion arrogance is more likely to be annoying while hypocrisy is more likely to be dangerous. Arrogance can be off-putting but not necessarily harmful, depending on the context and nature of the arrogance. However, hypocrisy is more often associated with deeper levels of dark motives and ideas, and is more often used for manipulation and subversion. Overall, I would say that hypocrisy has a higher likelihood of being a characteristic belonging to dangerous individuals.

I've been here since January 2013, which is somewhat old but not as old as some. I'm not active here anymore, but I love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic more than ever. My interest in the show only increases more and more over the years. I love MLP Forums and its staff and community, so there's no negative reasons why I'm not active here anymore. I just work full-time now and my job drains me a lot so I don't have the time or energy to be active here anymore between that and all the other things I want to have time to do.
