  1. I wouldn't change anything. A lot of the events in my past, as regrettable or painful as some were, I learned a lot of harsh lessons from in which I value, and have since made me a better person. To go back and undo those would likely make me as naive about those things as I was back then, and thus possibly lead to similar events happening again anyway. So what's the point. It's all done and gone, lessons were learned, and it's all behind me now.
  2. Nah, sure haven't, and don't really have any intentions of ever doing so. Besides, I collect enough things as is, I wouldn't have room to start yet another collection.
  3. I never thought I'd say it, but I kinda miss the days when he was just an annoying kid, and not this carelessly egotistical fool who thinks he can do whatever he wants because he's famous. I never really cared for him to begin with, let alone now with what he's become, as he's reeaally let the fame goto his head.
  4. Well, good to know that you've found a way to combat all those darn knife-wielding ghosts that've been running about lately.
  5. I've never really had much issue with Minecraft's updates. Even when it was one I thought I would hate (hunger), I wound up liking it after I finally experienced it for myself. So I personally can't really name a worst update.
  6. You don't say. I already said I didn't agree on how the show and such is done, nor do I approve of the message it puts across. I even said I wished they'd feature a more diverse lineup. That I agree with completely. I just simply don't like how ladies in general with that body type get so harshly insulted in discussions like these. As in, it's not really fair to be "Yay, body positive!" and then all "Oh except those digusting anorexic creatures.", if that makes any sense. ^^; But yeah, as for the show itself, I can't stand it.
  7. I never said the OP picture looked natural (although I don't like the idea that they should be made to feel ashamed of themselves for their bodies either). My point was that the general idea of making one group take the fall, as a means of making another group feel better always bothered me. Which on other sites and discussions based around this, is something I see all too often, as it often treads beyond just the girls in the picture and the discussions start getting insulting towards any girls who aren't overweight, as if being thin is a terrible thing. THAT is what gets me. It's just a frustration I've been wanting to get off my chest for awhile now. However as I hinted before, I do agree with others that I dislike Victoria Secret's approach with those ads and such, and the message it puts across. I wish they'd do something more along the lines of the pic YayFluttershy posted above.
  8. I think what also bothers me about this whole deal, is along with some things that others have listed, is that it also often results in a great big anti-skinny discussion. Everyone berates them for how they look and how their appearance makes women feel bad about themselves, but what about the ladies who are naturally that size, height, and so forth to begin with? It doesn't really accomplish the goal of making folks feel better about themselves, if you're just making someone else take the fall for it by tossing "ANOREXIA!!!" around every time this image shows up. It just brings up the same problem again, only on the opposite end of the spectrum. I have to wonder if some folks even know what true anorexia looks like. Point being, I don't think anyone should tell anyone how they "should" look. After all, beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
  9. I can't for the life of me remember what it was, but there was this medicine the doctor prescribed me when I had a combination of Swine Flu + Pneumonia a few years ago, and it was the thickest, most god-awful tasting stuff. Of course I had no choice at the time but in hindsight, it was easily the worst medicine I ever had. Delsym comes in a close 2nd, as that stuff's also super thick and disgusting.
  10. I don't really care for scars. They're a bit of an eyesore, and kind of a permanant reminder of failure or trauma. My most recent scar, which was on my forearm, came from barely visible broken glass shards wedged into a groove on the rim of a shopping cart. I was unloading groceries from the cart to put in car and then sliiiice. I was bleeding like crazy right there in the parking lot. Wasn't exactly pleasant, and I was rather pissed that it happened.
  11. I suppose I'm kind of passive about it. I don't see it being a tragically important issue worth condemning people who just want to make themselves a character for the fun of it. Sure the blatant ripoffs are annoying, and I appreciate when folks go the extra mile to be creative and original, but really to me it's just a matter of whatever makes them happy. In which case, good for them, I'm not going to shove the banlist of OC traits down their throat for it.
  12. My crippling anxiety is what I hate the most. Anxiety has held me back so much, messed with my ability to socialize, and has been a roller coaster ride ever since I was a kid. And as much as I hate to admit it, I'm more depedant on others than I care to be. I'm not clingy and in absolute need of being tended to every second of the day, but at the same time I can't stand to be alone.
  13. It really depends on the person, and how it's done. I typically prefer clean shaven, but some guys do look very attractive with a little bit a facial hair, and I do mean a little bit.
  14. So far, I'm only really buddies with ~Chaotic Discord~, and that's largely because I knew him a couple years prior to joining here. Otherwise I haven't really gotten to know anyone else well enough yet. I've met some really nice people here, though. Now, if only I could stop being shy and carry on conversations better.
  15. Demon donkey! Because why not.
