Hey no offense taken I love writing and movies so I get wrapped up into these small little details. I mean, you should have seen me when SAW came out. I was analyizing every single scene, every new character, ever small detail to try and predict what would happen in the next movies. I love things like this you know? It's just mindless fun and sometimes if these theories hold merit it's like YES!

Ah, but he doesn't know how to befriend others. He never befriended Fluttershy, she chose to be his friend out of neccessitity. It worked, yes, but the fact remains he didn't really learn anything other than having a friend isn't so bad, but it's not mandatory for him still. During the entire ordeal, he was making sure no other pony could ever seal him back up. I fail to see your point? What's wrong with coming up with theories on something I enjoy? *lowers his sunglasses* I mean, I did the same with Pinkie Pie during Season 1 and that's how I wrote "Going Home" for Equestria Daily. Theories are fun and they don't need to make sense for as we all know...

I am not sure. I've heard the things going on with Hasbro, but to be honest, I have faith in the writers. Hasbro may be in it for making toys, but they do allow great writing nevertheless as we've seen in the past with their other shows (albeit those were in the 90s and late 80s but I digress). I am thinking that Season 4 will focus more on twilight being trained for greatness while a new villain may slowly be introduced. No matter what, I believe that what Celestia said about Self Sacrifice in episode one of this season is something no pony should ignore.

Thank you I don't find Discord evil to be honest. He's like a kid who knows he is god-like, but he has never truly harmed anypony even though he has the ability too. His chaos is more towards his sick amusement than actually killing, maiming, and slaughtering. I mean if you look at what he did to Ponies of Ponyville, he never actually harmed any of them. He just made them a bit wacky. The only ones he actually caused to "suffer" were the Mane 6 in order to keep their elements from working. The rest of the time he was just busying himself by making buildings spin or ponies act oddly. Evil is more or less like the changling Princess (cannot spell her name to save my life) who wanted to conquer and destroy. Just because it's a kid's show, doesn't mean it cannot be complicated, Danny Phantom had some pretty deep storylines (With the whole time god storylines) and other shows like Gargoyals was VERY complicated in their storylines. Even though this is primary a kid's cartoon for little kids, doesn't mean the writers will dumb it down and I think we've seen a lot of evidence of this.

Speaking of Discord; I've heard that someponies are not pleased that discord wasn't evil enough. First of all, Discord was never shown to be very evil in the original 2 episodes. He was just creating chaos. If he were evil, he would have just destroyed the ponies with a click of his claws. He wanted to disable their Elements hence the corruption and it was also done for his amusement. Also, the biggest aspect of the episode is the fact that Discord was able to accomplish 2 very important things: 1. Make Fluttershy swear to never use her element against him 2. Destroyed all of Twilight's books that hold the spells that can banish him. While he does promise to somewhat behave to Fluttershy and Celestia, the fact is he has officially made it impossible for the others to ever banish him again unless the others can convince Fluttershy to break her promise which could be something rather difficult. However, the most important thing is this: He does not want to lose his friendship with Fluttershy and yet he is not pleased with having to "behave." If one thinks of it, all he needs to do is "behave" until Fluttershy passes away from old age and then he is free to cause as much chaos as he wants as he is immortal. Hence Discord's episode had him showing a lot more thought in the future than some ponies may think......

Has Anyone Else reading between the lines of this season. I am beginning to suspect something serious will be going down in season 4. Episode One: Celestia tells Luna that Twilight has learned about Self Sacrifice. Episode 10: Celestia tells Twilight that she needs Discord's Magic for good and has a Equestrain summit to attend. This means Celestia probably knows that something horrible may be coming, something that her magic alone cannot defeat hence the reason she needs Discord's help. Finale: Celestia apparently helps Twilight gain more power and prepares her leadership. The whole season has been about joining 2 kingdoms together (crystal and Canterlot) and getting them both prepared for something *is seeking more information as he rewatches the seasons* I think all of this is because of the return of I seriously think the writers have a darker plot set up for season 4....
