The Ponyville Critic

Missy had to wake up early to catch the Friendship Express to Canterlot that morning, she packed her saddlebags (i say she did, it was actually Twilight), she packed 5 apples, 3 cupcakes and a book called "Everything about Equestria", all of her friends gathered round to send her off, "Thanks you guys, i appreciate you getting up so early." Missy said with a hint of exhaustion. "Are you kidding, none of us would've not come down here to see one of our good friends go on such a noble journey" Fluttershy said sort of quietly. "Why wouldn't we come here?" Pinkie said in her usual upbeat tone "You need to be happy when you get to Canterlot" Missy, Twilight and almost half of Ponyville was there when she got on the train, she looked across at Canterlot, oh the beautiful spires had never looked so splendid. Missy stopped in at a few places on her way there to pick up some more supplies for the journey ahead. Missy started to worry, what if she or anypony doesn't make it back, what about if they fail their mission, how will her friends feel, since Twilight pushed her to do this after all. Missy ran up the stairs to the courtyard, Quinky and Splash looked relieved. "Princess Celestia!" Missy shouted, she was surprised to see her. "Ah, Missy, how goes the ongoing studies with Twilight?" Celestia asked inquisitively. "Better than i hoped, Your Majesty." Missy walked over and sat beside Splash on the bench.

Missy, turned around and looked towards the others, "I guess i'll see you all tomorrow?"Missy stuttered, she went back to the library with Twilight to discuss the events that would be following. "Twilight, i can't do this, i just can't." Missy said "I know i always say i'm a great adventurer but i mean, Changelings, this changes everything." "Come on, it doesn't change that much." Twilight responded sympathetically, Missy wasn't sure whether she meant this or if it was just to make her feel better. "In the morning you'll feel better, but i could help with a couple of things right now." "Like what?" Missy blurted out quite rudely, she hadn't meant for it to come out this way, but she felt very nervous and annoyed with herself. "I'm sorry, i just thought things would be a bit easier, that's all." "No worries, besides, you could learn a few spells that might come in handy on your little "adventure"." Twilight replied comfortingly. "I'm sure it won't be that difficult." The windows of the library started glowing with magic. Missy was quite worried about tommorow's journey, but with Twilight's support, she felt as though she could do anything.

I have been part of this community for a little over a week now and i just want to thank you all for being so welcoming, it means a lot.

"Twilight told me about the last time her and the others battled Discord, they were hidden in." Missy stopped abruptly, "Weren't they meant to be in this book? Oh no, this is bad, this is very bad." Missy knew something was off, Discord suddenly appeared infront of the 3 ponies. "Oh my, how lovely it is to see you all, gathered a little crowd for me." Discord said sarcastically. "What have you done with Twilight and my friends, Discord?" Missy shouted "I know what you've done to everyone, we will take you down!" "Oh, straight to the point, i see, no time for some games?" The three looked very angry at Discord. "Fine, i willl give you one clue and one clue only." "In the tall tower, where the walls glimmer, the door would be seen, if only it were a bit dimmer." Discord dissapeared into thin air. Missy paced back and forward wondering what that could mean, "It might be the castle, the walls up there always seem pretty shiny, no?" Missy rambled. She had never had to do anything this problematic without Twilight, if only she were here. "We're getting off topic here" Missy shouted "We need more ponies or else our chances of finding my friends are next to none."

(My character Ms. Adventure, can be found on the Character Database) "Missy!" Celestia shouted. "Come on up here." Twilight nudged Missy and nodded her head towards Celestia. Everypony in the immediate vicinity was staring at her, this made her feel very uncomfortable, she started to make her way up to Celestia, the walk seemed to last forever, she had only dreamed of taking part in such a mission, she wasn't sure whether to jump up and down in excitement or fall to the floor with fear. "Thank you, your highness." Missy said elegantly. "Here, Missy, this will surely come in handy on your quest." Celestia spoke softly. It was a map of Equestria, showing each and every location. Missy excused herself for a moment to talk to Twilight, she was there to support Missy. "I can't thank you enough, Twilight, if it hadn't been for you, i would never have had the courage to do this kind of thing." "No problem, just be careful, won't you?" Twilight asked sincerely. "What do you mean, i'm always careful" Missy retorted, met only by a look that said "You sure about that." She walked up to the front and stood next to the other two ponies. She didn't like being the centre of attention.

Missy was unfamiliar with the other ponies, but she had to be assertive, even when she is, no especially when she's out of her comfort zone. The other ponies' families had been taken by Discord and she had to do something to help, she pulled a book from underneath the bed she'd been sleeping in since she got to Ponyville. "Hey guys, i think i know who this guy is, his name is Discord, meaning a lack of harmony between ponies." Missy read. "Long ago, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna defeated him with their magic, turning him to stone, they used the Elements of Harmony to do so." Missy looked very worried as she said these words, she knew that only Twilight and her friends could use the elements, so they would need to either find them or try and operate the elements themselves. "Emerald, i need you to look through those books and find anything you can on the Elements of Harmony, Skittle, we need to turn this place upside-down looking for them." Missy ordered "But first, we need to find more ponies, because we can't do this thing on our own, we won't even know where we're going, they could be anywhere." Missy looked out of the window, "I hope we can find you guys, Twilight" Missy thought "If not for me and the others, but for all of Equestria."

Little bit of explanation, my character, Ms.Adventure or Missy is an Alicorn and the lead for this story, other than the mane six themselves. I was going to include Applejack coming with Missy but that would cause too much hassle. Enjoy, or not. "What had happened?", Missy thought to herself, "last thing i remember was Twilight telling me to hide, thene the next thing i know there's a flash of bright light and Twilight screaming." Something dawned on Missy at that very moment, what if someting had happened to everypony, she thought she should go check round the shops and houses. she exited Twilight's library, house thingy, then proceeded towards the town square, there was no-one there, in the biggest, busiest place in the town. She then decided to check her friends' houses, Pinkie wasn't at Sugarcube Corner, Rarity wasn't in her place, Rainbow wasn't in her place, Fluttershy wasn't in her cottage (but her animal friends were and they looked very upset about something.), she then went to check on Applejack, she heard somepony in the barn. Which made Missy very curious, when she opened the door, there was Applejack and her little filly sister, Applebloom. "Thank god you're alright, Missy", Applejack relieved while saying so, "I thought Discord had gotten all of us this time." "Wait, Discord?" Missy exclaimed "Didn't Fluttershy make him, you know, not evil." Applejack looked kind of angry while Applebloom was just scared. "Well, obviously it didn't work" Applejack responded, "Fluttershy was so darn sure of it." She kicked the ground with her hoof, dust sprayed up in Applejack's face, making her sneeze, there was then a big vortex looking just like the one she saw at the library. "Missy, Applebloom, get out of here!" Applejack shouted desperately. Missy took Applebloom by the mane and flew away. All the two could hear were the screams of Applejack being taken by Discord, Missy landed in Ponyville Square. "We need help to find your sister and the others" Missy panted, being out of breath after flying so fast. Missy and Applebloom went back to the library to find out some stuff, knowing that she needed to find her friends and that Discord couldn't be defeated without the Elements of Harmony, Missy turns around to see somepony standing in the doorway. "Hello?" Missy asked inquisitively, "who are you?"

That Shed.mov video is terrible, why do people have to ruin the innocence of MLP? Also, nobody. Messes. With! FLUTTERSHY!
