  1. @Samurai Equine Silver hops in and the palanquin starts moving towards their destination. “Why was it discontinued?” He asks before producing a piece of paper from his saddlebag, and then begins to idly draw on it with his own coloured pencils while talking with his friend. Might as well get art practice in at the same time.
  2. @Samurai Equine Silver follows Samurai outside and stops in his tracks when he sees what his friend has in mind for them. “We’re going to ride around in a small box while other ponies carry us to wherever we want to go?” He asks in disbelief, turning to his friend. “You sure you’re not royalty? The kirin eyes him with a mock suspicious look.
  3. @Samurai Equine Silver smiles and nods silently, letting Samurai head off to do whatever it is that he needed to do. Being alone for a few minuets gives the kirin some time to think about the previous day’s events. While he missed his family and friends back home, he was also enjoying his time here seeing a new part of the world with a new friend. He thought it might be a good idea to write a letter to his village to let them how things were going. His thoughts are interrupted when Samurai returns. “In style?” He asks. “I’m not sure what you mean exactly, but sure? I guess? Why not.”
  4. @Samurai Equine “Ok then.” Silver replies. “As long as it’s not much work for you then let’s head on our way there, and like you said I’m sure there’s plenty of other things to see and do in the area, as well. Unless you’d like to do some art practice first, we don’t have to go anywhere to do that.” He suggests.
  5. @Samurai Equine Silver frowned a bit. “I’m not much of a fighter. We’re not a particularly violent bunch, I just defend myself when I must. I can’t really do a whole lot if I’m being completely honest. But, it might be worth trying if you wouldn’t mind teaching me a few things. But that’s completely up to you. I thought it’d be a nice thing to go visit her since she offered, but if it’s gonna be a lot of work for you to put together then it’s not necessary. I’m always down for art practice, though. Never owned a suit in my life to be honest, if nothing else it might be interesting to go just for the experience. I don’t know if any of that is helpful at all…” He says with a small grin.
  6. @Samurai Equine Silver nodded silently in response, taking a seat beside his friend. “Oh? What sort of things?” He asks in between bites. “You know me, I don’t really have any plans in mind. Being here wasn’t exactly on my agenda, not that I mind, been quite enjoying my time here with you.” He smiled.
  7. @Samurai Equine “Sure! Thanks a bunch!” He exclaims before grabbing a plate and making his way over to the food. He takes a little bit of everything offered before sitting down. “You gonna join?” He asks, motioning for him to sit down next to him.
  8. @Samurai Equine It’s a very nice feeling when you don’t have to sleep with one eye open all night. Having been away from home for quite a while now, it’s a reality that Silver just had to put up with as an adventurer, so it was a welcome change being able to sleep without worry here at Samurai’s place. He was normally a early riser, but today he felt like sleeping in just a little bit. “Oh hey, good morning. my friend.” Silver says a bit sleepily as he wanders into the kitchen. “Sorry for getting up late, I’m not usually like that. Just had a long journey and it’s nice to have someplace safe for a change.”
  9. @Samurai Equine “Yes, I appreciate how welcoming everypony has been since I arrived. It’s a refreshing change for sure. Anyway, good night, my friend.” He says as he heads off with one of Samurai’s kurokos. He’s shown a bedroom which is simply appointed, but he didn’t need much else other than a place to sleep. He thanks the kuroko before setting his things down at the end of the bed. He lays down on the bed and uses his magic to close the partition door before happily drifting off to sleep.
  10. @Samurai Equine “I don’t know what to say. It’d just be nice to roam around Equestria without being treated like a monster. Nothing personal against Celestia or Luna, I’m sure they’re great ponies.” Silver chuckles a bit when he hears Samurai mention his fighting skills. “I’m no solider like you, I was raised by a bunch of peaceful, quite folk who know nothing of the outside world. I just do what I must do to survive and have had a few others like yourself who bothered to show me stuff. But you’re right, it is getting late, let’s go get some sleep.”
  11. @Samurai Equine “Wow. That’s quite the journey you’ve been on. You truly are talented, then. I think that’s a really cool goal you have, to be her royal guard. I’m sure you’ll get there if you put your mind to it.” He says, smiling. But his smile soon fades. “It’s interesting to me that you think so highly of Celestia. Us kirin do as well, to some extent. But, there’s never been a documented case of any royal ever making a trip to greet or acknowledge us as part of Equestria. In the past our race was looked down upon, but nowadays we’re just ignored, nopony really knows that we’re there. In my travels, there have been plenty of times I’ve been run out of towns just because I’m a kirin. So I’ve learned how to avoid getting into trouble, and how to fight back if I need to.” He explains solemnly, staring at the picture of Celestia on the wall.
  12. @Samurai Equine “Ah ok, cool.” Came Silver’s reply. “And um, no, I don’t play any instruments. I can do a lot of things, but that isn’t one of ‘em. You seem to be a pony of many talents, Samurai, how’d you end up deciding that protecting your homeland was what you wanted to do?” He asked.
  13. @Samurai Equine Silver smiles and nods silently as they head to the dining room where they wait until dinner is served. As his friends’ servants place the meal before him, Silver can’t help but think about what life must be like having a small army of ponies at your disposal all the time. Dinner was amazing, of course. The two engaged in idle conversation while eating until Samurai finishes, sits down, and starts playing a stringed instrument of his. Silver comes over and sits down beside him. “What’s that instrument you’re playing called?” He asked, staring at it as his friend casually played it.
  14. @Samurai Equine Silver thinks for a moment. “Well, to be honest, not really. But how about you make something like you like?” He suggests. “I am here to experience your culture, so do whatever you would do normally. I don’t mind, really.”
  15. @Samurai Equine “But I do have magic…” Silver starts before Samurai instantly teleports them both back to his house. He blinks a few times, feeling somewhat disorientated from the sudden shift in environment. “Ok, well that just happened.” He turns to face his friend. “So uh, now what?”
  16. @Samurai Equine “Oh, ok. Well, I don’t know, I’ve never teleported before. Does it hurt or feel weird or anything like that?” He asked cautiously. “Also, it’s been a long day for the both of us, so make sure you’re not gonna tire yourself out too much from doing this, you know?”
  17. @Samurai Equine Silver smiles and thanks the office worker before walking away. It may not have been much, but at least they were trying. “Interested?” He asks. “I hope it’s the good sort of interesting. Hopefully your comrades will be a bit more accepting of me than Denki was.” He says half-joking, half- worried about the possibility. “Speaking of meeting more samurai, do you think we could go visit Asahi tomorrow? She did invite me, after all. Or we can go somewhere else if you want, I don’t really have plans here.”
  18. @Samurai Equine Silver still didn’t fully understand the situation, but at the end of the day, he didn’t exactly have much to lose by signing this document. In fact, he didn’t have anything to lose, period. He knew that the rest of his village wasn’t much for travelling, so he doubted that anypony aside from himself, Vesperr, and Charlotte would ever make it out here. The rest were simply too complacent for their own good. “Alright.” He says after thinking things over for a bit. “Let’s do this.” He picks up the pen with his magic and just like that, Silver is now a citizen of Japone.
  19. @Samurai Equine Silver looks at the form and then back to his friend. “Can’t I come and go as I please now, anyway?” He asks with a bit of a confused look. “What does ‘citizenship’ grant me access to, exactly? This isn’t really a concept we have back home.”
  20. @Samurai Equine “Well… home’s a long way away for me. Probably won’t be home tonight. Now your home on the other hoof, maybe. As much as I’ve enjoyed being in the big city, the quietness of the countryside is what I’m more used to. So I think we should head back to your place after, how does that sound?” He asks.
  21. @Samurai Equine Silver blinks a couple times and rubs his head. “Umm… I guess I have.” He shakes his head. “Ok, I guess I just didn’t fully understand what was going on at the time. There’s been a lot to take in since I got here, to be fair. But sure, let’s go see if that’s ready!”
  22. @Samurai Equine “Free citizenship? That’s a thing here?” Silver sounds a bit surprised. “I had no idea… I just got here. That sounds like something that would be hard to get. I’m down for whatever you wanna do though, doesn’t have to be all about me.” He smiles.
  23. @Samurai Equine “Thanks again, my friend. You really don’t have to pay for everything, you know. But yes, you’re right, these are special, my sister does painting as well as drawing so I thought these would be a good fit for her.” He explained as they left the store. “It is her job after all, so I try to be supportive of her because she loves doing it. That’s interesting, what you mentioned about the school foals. I suppose that makes sense, I do want her to have nice things. Now then, I’m all stocked up on gifts, where are we headed next?” He asked.
  24. @Samurai Equine Silver turns to his friend with a smile. “Yep! I’m just a bit more knowledgeable about art stuff than jewelry.” He said as he placed the supplies on the counter and waited for his items to rung in. “I know that she’s been wanting a new set of coloured pencils so figured I’d take the opportunity to fix that.”
  25. @Samurai Equine Silver is somewhat confused by how this Snow Leopard doesn’t want anything, but he decides not to dwell on the subject as they head into the art supply store. As he looks around, he realizes that if he didn’t have good self-control, this could be a dangerous place for his wallet. But he wasn’t here for himself, he was here to get something for his younger sister, Charlotte. He immediately knew what she’d appreciate and grabbed the largest package of coloured pencils he could find, along with one of the fancy-looking carrying cases the store had on display. The kirin heads to the register with his items before he has time to grab more things. As an artist himself, the temptation is hard to resist.
