Compass kept walking towards the cave, looking back to make sure the others were there. She was standing just outside the cave when Kyznetsov fell into the cave, drunk. "Hey, I can see why Kyz wasn't paranoid!" She commented, with a slight giggle. "I had no idea he had so much alchohol on him."

Well, sorry for not knowing about that characater, who I'm guessing can kill me. But I am the warlord of Aurora, and I will not go without honor. GO, VAPOREON! (Pokemon... Conquest...) That thing can burn you to ashes, if you didn't already know that. As long as it's not Cupcakes Pinkie, I think I won't die. Injured beyond repair, but not dead.

"Well," said Compass, turning to Novella, "It's a cave. With stuff in it." She began to walk into the forest and waited for the others to follow. "Are you coming?" she asked. Then a thought popped into her brain, which she quickly made into her next question. "Selune, what do you mean by... um...anomalies?"

I am a master of secret keeping. I won't tell nopony! No Pony! I told somepony. OH FLAPPERS, THEY'RE ALL OUT TO KILL ME! OH, PLEASE HAVE MERCY! *Runs away screaming*

Compass put a hoof over her mouth. "Sorry" She whispered. "Now, what are we looking at again?" She asked very quietly, as she walked over to Selune. "And, don't worry, I don't think you're paranoid. I had that same feeling too, while I was walking over here. Did you see the aurora borealis?" Compass Rose mentaly reminded herself to stay on topic. "Plague Doctor has a cave shelter that's a lot safer than the leaf tent. You wanna come?"

Compass smiled. "Alright." She said. "I'll get the others and tell them to not mess around with your stuff." She headed out onto the beach. She had the weirdest feeling that someone had been watching her. She reached the beach, when suddendly a bright flash of light from the sky caught her eye. It was and aurora borealis, just like the ones you see in the Crystal Empire at night! Those were only supposed to appear in the north! This was odd. If the island was in the north, it would have been much colder. And considering the fact that it was about 1AM in the morning on the island, it was pretty warm. "Hello?" She called out. "Is anypony there?"

"Well, I should get the others here, it seems to be safer in the cave. If you don't mind, Plauge, I'll go get them. I'm pretty sure htere's room for everypony." Said Compass. She was pretty sure Novella and Selune were at the beach, doing some science. She didn't want Plauge to get angry, though, because this was technically his shelter.

Compass looked around. Where would they start their first expedition? Suddendly she spotted a door. Closed, but clearly unlocked. She noticed she was a bit hungry, so she teleported over to the huge food table and grabbed herself somethiing to munch on, a cheese and lettuce sandwich, before teleporting back. "Hey, you guys want to start the expedition now, or later?" She asked through a mouthful of sandwich.

Compass put down her cup, walked outside, and looked around. For a rainforest, it was unaturally silent. Compass knew that first hand, because she had been to a rainforest before and it was very noisy. "Hey, guys, I think there's something a bit wrong here. If you just stop chatting and listented, you'd notice that it's very quite. It's not supposed to be quiet, there's supposed to be monkeys and bugs and all that nonsense making noise. The only animal we've seen so far wer those crows that follow Plauge all over. Odd, don't you think?"

Compass smiled. "Well, I followed Wheatley and my nose. The soup smells pretty good." Compass quitely walked over and poured herself a cup of tea. She took a sip of the tea, which was unlike anything she had ever tasted, but still good. "This tea is good, what did you make it out of?" She asked.

Compass had forgotten that she was somewhat hungry and that she was told there was soup, so she followed her nose. There was Wheatley, and he had commented on something creeping him out. "I agree." She responded. "I had this nasty feeling when I got on the beach for the first time." She peeked inside the cave. She could just make out Plauge and Gearbox, having a chat. She also saw the source of the nice smell. There seemed to be lots of stuff scattered about.

Compass nodded. "I think it would be cool to fly and walk on clouds, or do what earth ponies do. I had quite a few earth pony friends, and they all did a ton of different things. I think there was a unicorn who was hired to make fireworks, so they should be on every now and then. I think maybe we can wait for Forest and talk with this pony over here." Compass pointed her head towards Novella.

Compass somehow shrugged. (She's a pony, I dunno) "I think it was that gang of pegasi that think pegasi are the best and that every other race of pony must die. I don't really know." Compass was a very curious pony, though, and she really wanted to explore. "So, do we go explore this maze of a house now, or later? Also, when does this party end? Is it one of those more-than-one-day parties?"

Compass spotted one of those batwing ponies in a very nice dress. She always thought batponies were really cool. They had and offical name though. Pterasi or something like that. Now, the pegasus named Forest had said that he was from Cloudsdale, which she had something to say about. "I once took a hot air balloon trip around Cloudsdale. The guide pony was really nice and the view was amazing, but me and the other tourists got pelted with tomatoes by some racisist pegasi. I still have a hat with tomato stains..."

Compass politly answered. "Well, I'm part of one of Celestia's personal exploration teams. My team uses ships attached to balloons. I'm one of the sub-captians." Then she asked. "What's your profesions? I'm just curious. Also, who wants to explore this monster of a mansion? I have and exploration and mapping cutie mark, so I can keep us from getting lost."

Compass' just barely heard some more carriages come by. "Gah, it's those rich ponies that hire ponies to pull them arond on carts. That's clearly not how to roll. Especially when Celestia lends you a flying ship." Compass smirked. "Say, is Celestia at the party?" she wondered out loud.

Compass looked at Novella and smiled. "Oh, hi. Do I know you, you seem familiar." Then she turned back to Black. "Well, I was born in Trottingham. I guess you can tell by my accent. I moved with my parents to Ponyville when I was just a little filly. I see to be spending quite a bit of time in Canterlot lately due to my job. I've noticed the unicorns here, you know, the ones with the really long horns, see to be a bit racist towards pegasi and earth ponies. They are taught to speak posh, and if they don't want to, they send them to be brainwashed in finishing school. Well, that's what I've heard, at least..." ((MissWonder, do I make our characters know each other from the other roleplay or do we erase their memories?))

Compass realized her mistake and apologized. "Um... sorry about that. This is pretty much my first formal party in a long time and I really wasn't sure what to do. Nice meeting you, anyways." She noticed the lack of big-headness in these ponies, so she assumed they were not part of Canterlot's high and snooty society. "Are you ponies from Canterlot?" She asked, out of curiousity.

"Alright, Gearbox. Go work on your blueprints. I'll start my story about me." Compass cleared her throat and started. "Well, I was born in Trottingham but my parents moved to Ponyville because rent there was cheaper. I met my cousin, Lyra. Do you know her? She's that historian who researches humans. She also a lyrist that frequently preforms in Canterlot, but that's off topic. You know how I got my cutie mark? Well, I'll tell you. One day, after school, Lyra was busy at music practic, so when on an adventure! I ran deep into the Everfree forest and got hopelessly lost. I nearly got myself killed multiple times, but using the little signs all around me, like one tree that's different from the others, I got home. The moment I set hoof back in Ponyville, this thing appeared!" She said, pointing at her cutie mark. "Boy, I was exited! My cute-sinera was about a week later, and Lyra was so jealous! I joined EET about 4 years after that, and then 2 years after that i got promoted to captain rank. Then, six months after that, this whole scenario happened." "Well, do you like my story?"

Compass though some more on who she would introduce herself to. Prehaps those two stallions over there. They seemed to be introducing each other, so they would be in the mood for more introducions. She trotted over and said "Hi! i'm Compass Rose. Pardon my interuption."

Compass cheered. "Wooohooo! Great story! Lovely magic too!" She had no idea if this was true but, boy, was it cool. Compass remembered that she had gone to Canterlot for the royal wedding and had nearly gotten killed by the changlings. She had only found out what happened a month later. "So, does anyone else want to tell a story or should I tell about me?"

Compass nervously walked into the huge area. She was so caught up at looking at everything that she nearly tripped on her dress, which she had ordered from Carousel Boutique. There were so many ponies here that Compass felt a bit intimidated. What if they were to teast her like that fancy exchange studen from Grade 3. She looked and saw Big Boss Butch greeting some other ponies. That guy always gave her the jitters. She made up her mind: Introduce herself to potential friends.

"Exploring? Only if you know how to kick butts." Said Compass, once again emphasizing the fact that unjured team mates would be a real setback, and not very pleasant. "Selune, do you know how to kick the tushes of your foes? You have really cool magic and all but can you use it to fight?"

Compass smiled. "No thanks, it's just the fire spell I cast. For the benefit of the others, you know." She continued "Now, what kind of soup is this? I'm not one of those meat-eating ponies." Clouds began to appear in the sky, significanly darkening everything.
