    @Mirage
The New Topics, New Posts, etc. can be seen if you scroll down a bit and look to your far right. This is where these sections are located both on desktop & tablet.
More simple directions: Locate the current donation goal progress box and scroll down from there.
    See it?
  4. Venomous's post in Is there a place on these forums where I can ask for help on using 3D models of ponies? was marked as the answer
    @DPBOX
The section Sugarcube Corner is designated for users to discuss MLP:FiM indirectly. Questions regarding MLP Forums should be placed in Site Questions. As such, your thread has been moved there.
The area you’re looking for is Stardom’s Creative Resources which is under Octavia’s Hall > Octavia’s University of the Arts.
All sections contain text underneath them explaining their function:

Furthermore, additional information can be found on the top of the respective page:

  5. Venomous's post in how do i delete blogs? was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, there is no available option to delete a blog in its entirety. Only entries can be deleted. The next best thing you can do is go ahead and delete all the existing entries in said blog and perhaps rename the title to something along the lines of "This blog no longer exists". Or, simply unpublish those entries so you, alone still have the ability to view them.

  6. Venomous's post in Where can I increase my post count? was marked as the answer
    Hi, @@TheImmortalLegendG
Because this thread is asking a bit more of a general question regarding MLP Forums, I have gone ahead and moved it to Site Questions & Tech Support. Also, I have gone ahead and altered this thread's title to give it more proper context.

But to answer your question (further), you can increase your post count by posting in threads under all areas with the exception of threads under Welcoming Plaza and Cloudsdale Colosseum. Hope this helped!
  7. Venomous's post in How do I Add/Change my Signature? was marked as the answer
As it has already been stated, a user must reach at least 5 posts in order to recieve permission to access the ability to use a signature. However, regular members have the size limitation of 600x100 with their signature; no larger.

Once you have chosen and appropriately sized your desired signature, we recommend visiting imgur.com, uploading the signature and copying the direct link.

Then, you can visit your profile, click "Edit my Profile" on the top right, click "Signature" on the far left, click the icon of the small photograph, paste the previously copied direct link into the designated box, then click "Ok". Be sure to save your settings.

  9. Venomous's post in Is there a way to delete/deactivate my account? was marked as the answer
Administration does not allow deletion of accounts.

Simply leaving your account dormant would be the best option. You can also remove any material on your personal profile before doing so if it makes you feel more comfortable.
  10. Venomous's post in Are we allowed to ask Staff why certain members were banned? was marked as the answer

  11. Venomous's post in Is there a "search" feature in these forums? was marked as the answer
Yes, there is a search function here on these forums. Directly right to the "Sign Out" option on the top right of the page, there is an icon of a magnifying glass. If you click that, you will then see a search box along with options to specify your search.

In order to obtain the Canterlot Artist badge, you must come in 1st place in an MLP Forums Art Contest, (These contests can be found under Octavia's Hall sub category Visual Fan Art)

As of now, however, there are no contests going on.
The most recent one took place in December of 2015.

All of the other qustions you have regarding the competition can be answered here:
(This is the December 2015 competition, but the rules will most likely stay the same for the upcoming 2016 competition)

  17. Venomous's post in Can somepony help me? was marked as the answer
Topics are commonly locked or taken down because they are duplicates, innapropriate, or should be posted as status updates rather than topics.

To avoid posting a topic that has already been created in the past, go to the search function at the top of the homepage:

Then, click the "Forums" option and search for a thread you worry may already exist:

If you cannot find an already existing thread, feel free to create one.
Here is the link to the ultimate posting guide:
    https://mlpforums.com/topic/13005-ultimate-mlp-forums-posting-guide/page-1

However, be sure that your topic adhears to the MLP Forum rules:

  20. Venomous's post in How do I add animations to forums and such? was marked as the answer
What you can do is go to Google.com and search for an animated gif you want.

Save it and open it on a photo editing program. (You can also add text to the gif here) Resize it to 600x100. Save the photo and upload it to imgur.com Copy the direct link that imgur.com gives you:
Go to your MLPForum profile page. Click "Edit My Profile" in the top right corner of the page.  Click "Signature" on the left side of the page. Click the small photo icon:
Paste the direct link from earlier into this box:
Reposition the image or add text if you'd like. Click "Save" I should mention, however, that resizing gifs can result in... an unapealing stretch-like effect.
To avoid this, you may want to find a transparent gif and find someone who would be willing to make a signature with it for you to avoid this stretching effect.
