I'm agnostic, but I'm interested in learning more about Buddhism since it seems to have some great life lessons and I've always struggled with accepting change/accepting reality so maybe it would be good for me.

Yeah usually I don't remember my dreams either after waking up, but when I do, I remember ones that are very realistic and about day-to-day situations with the people that I'm interacting with. This is problematic since sometimes I don't remember if something actually happened in real life or if it just happened in my dream... so I have to be extra careful when talking to people sometimes in order to ensure I don't bring up a dream conversation and then they have no idea what I'm talking about

I'm an introvert in the sense that I like time alone to recharge and I'm quiet, but I love being around people too. Everyone has a story to tell and I love listening to people's experiences and what kinds of lessons they've learned throughout life.
If anything this pandemic has made me realize how much I enjoy being around people and I've been taking steps to be more social again, whether that's approaching people at work or reconnecting with old friends. I've started saying "yes" to anything someone wants to include me in and overall I think it's helped me feel much better these days

Some steak tartare would hit the spot

Usually an open-faced sandwich with some kind of wheat bread, some cheese (havarti is probably my favorite for sandwiches) and some cucumber on top, maybe tomato and/or salami, then topped with herbs, salt, and pepper.
Sometimes if I'm feeling fancy I'll do pickled onions and roasted peppers as toppings too.

I'm pretty happy with my current place; it's definitely not perfect but probably better than I could've asked for all things considered. It's affordable for my city, I get to be around people while having my own room, and there's plenty of space. Only problems are that the house is old so stuff is occasionally falling apart, and my housemates smoke weed in the living room
I moved here in May and plan to stay here for at least the next 6 months.

I like in Washington DC and I've always felt very safe here. Most of the danger is concentrated in certain neighborhoods and any shootings are typically gang-on-gang violence. I walk home from work alone at night and have never had any problems though my area is mostly rich people with nice big houses (I live in a big house too but with 7 housemates!)
I also don't live right downtown so I was far enough removed from all the action during the BLM protests, but I was still scared for a couple days during all the rioting/looting since helicopters would be circling overhead at 3am waking me up.

Sometimes I will randomly think of some funny memory and start laughing to myself, it happened just the other day at work while I was checking out a customer. Fortunately I was wearing a mask so no one could see me laughing
Not sure when was the most inappropriate time when it happened to me, maybe when I was taking a test in school.

I'd also agree with the midwest. I went back to my hometown in Ohio for a bit this fall and was amazed at all the bright colors of the leaves (it'd been a few years since I was there in the fall and here in DC there's not as much wide open nature). Very cold snowy winters, very hot sunny summers, nice temperatures in the spring.
And as we always say, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it'll change

Yes I like milk in my cereal
. Just don't pour the milk first!

Do you feel like you’re chosen?

It used to be September since that’s my birthday month and I like the leaves changing colors. But now I’d say I like April the most, all the nature coming back alive after the winter.

I can be very emotional, depending on my mood and who I’m with, so I definitely have some tender-hearted moments at least
-
I'm feeling a little worried/anxious. I don't like that it's hard for me to know someone's true intentions...

Haha no, maybe I did when I was a kid
(upstairs that is, going downstairs doesn't seem to be very safe
)

I haven’t hugged a sheep... they don’t really smell that good

What do you think of Poland?
Looks like a nice country; I plan to visit there one day. Would like to see Krakow for sure and maybe the Zakopane mountainous region, or Gdansk in the north.
Their government, along with Hungary's, is being awful though. I shouldn't get too political here I guess

Hi swirly, how are you?
I hope everything is ok after all the things that happen in the USA this year (election, riots, covid-19, hurricanes and forest fires). How would you say was 2020 for you?
When was you in the Sächsische Schweiz?
Hello! All things considered I'd say I've been okay. Online school has been a pain but I started an in-person job lately and that's been really fun for me. I guess it's an interesting time to be in DC but I don't live right downtown so I haven't seen much of the riots/protests/celebrations.
I was just there last month, in October actually! (yeah I had an essential reason to go to Germany
). It was a lot of fun, we had really nice weather that day and I loved the views from the top. I hadn't been hiking in a long time so I realized I was quite out of shape though

I don’t keep track of cases but I’m so glad I got an essential job (cashier); it’s been doing wonders for my mental health. I get to talk to strangers and my coworkers all day and even get paid to do so

Have you ever dropped something in the toilet by accident?
in General Discussion
@WWolf will want to reply to this one
Hmm I think I accidentally knocked over the soap bottle into the toilet once, but that's all that comes to mind.
