  1. They are fun, but there are parts that are too annoying. I played San Andreas and IV and I hate the parts where you have to answer the phone and do stuff with your friends and associates. Like in IV you have to take your cousin, and your gf, and your friend out to dinner or whatever. These side missions serve no purpose for the plot and they aren't fun. It would be okay if it were optional, but you have to keep the people happy, which has no affect on the plot, as far as I could tell. There is a point where the game gets too realistic.

  2. I don't dislike any character, but at the same time I don't really rank them either. I love Rarity's drama and how she is so particular. I met Tabitha St. Germain at Bronycan. She is super nice and funny. I was waiting to get her autograph, she had to get up for something and she smiled at me and rubbed my arms. It was weird but nice to see how she has fun with the fans.

  3.

Fluttershy: Barrett M82A1 Suppressed sniper rifle, not your first choose in a fire fight, ut with a clear long shot....your toast

My toast? What about my toast?

    Rainbow Dash: A flame thrower.

Twilight Sparkle: M4 with night vision and all teched out.

Applejack: Sawed off double barrel shot gun.

Fluttershy: A suppressed 9mm of some kind.

Rarity: A pearl handled Deringer. Mostly for show.

Pinkie Pie: Claymores filled with confetti.

  4. You mean to say you "couldn't" care less. There is a difference between breaking gender roles versus destroying the concept altogether. In UK, school children are told to not use words like "his" or "hers." I'm trying to keep logic and reason in the debate. My libertarian side says boys and girls can like and do whatevere they want and not be judged. But I resist groups that want to make us all think the same way. They preach "tolerance" but are intollerant of people who disagree. It is fashionable for teens these days to repeat these slogans and catch phrases. But what does it even mean? Where is the logic? Whatever, I'm going to buy pony comics.

  5. What is people's fascination with destroying gender? You can't change millions of years of evolution. Why is it so wrong to be a boy or a girl? Of course it's UK that does this.

It's likely Toys R Us did this because there are some toys that boys and girls like, like Legos. But that doesn't mean every toy is meant for either gender. Do you really think boys are now going to rush to the Barbie section, and girls are going for the wresting figures?

I have no problem with kids playing with whatever toys they want. But there seems to be this fascination with forcing people to go against "stereotypes," and anyone who does is a hero. This whole anti gender thing has gone too far.

  6. I don't feel at ease with guns.

But well... my father have an old shotgun, which is not working anymore. We've got some airguns, nothing more.

I used to compete with air rifles, won a medal, then I stopped because of back pain.

I currently don't have any use for these guns, so I guess I won't waste money in this.

It's a bit disturbing to see all these people with guns. Why do you have them, do you feel more powerful with them? Or I guess I'm not as materialist as everyone here.

Free people have guns. Slaves do not. Why would we trust the police or military with guns, but not our friends and neighbors? Government is the greatest evil mankind has ever created. The check against the evils of government is a well armed population. A single man can kill perhaps 50 people. But it takes a government to kill millions.

  7. I was eating some graham crackers. These had already been opened and put into a small bag and twisted shut, but had been in the cupboard for a long time. I'd eaten a couple, then looked at half of one in my hand and saw a brown worm crawling on it. I went through the whole kitchen and threw away anything that had already been opened. I mean come on, we aren't so poor that we have to eat year old crackers.

I bought some peanut brittle bars from this Mexican food store. It was a pack of about 10 individually wrapped bars. When I got to the last one, I saw that bugs had made a home in it. I only hoped that the other 9 I had eaten were no so infested. Oh well, what are you going to do?

I saw a website where people find all kinds of things in their food. It made me think about going vegetarian. Then I saw pictures of spiders and worms in salads. Then I just gave up and accepted it. You're going to eat bugs. There's pretty much no way around it.

  8. No no no no. They shouldn't make it an "educational" game. The formula is simple: Just make a simple 3D platformer kind of thing. Doesn't have to be fancy. You start out playing Twilight. It is a over the shoulder view, run around a 3D environment, picking up items and talking with NPCs. You collect apples, gems, and other items. You jump onto boxes, go into rooms, fight simple monsters. Standard video game stuff.

Each character has different abilities, and you unlock the other characters as you go through the game. For example, there is a cliff you have to get to, but you can't get there until you unlock Rainbow Dash. Or maybe Applejack has a strong kick, and there are things you have to break open that only she can break. You level up too. Twilight gets more spells.

The game can't be too violent, but you can easily beat up monsters. You don't "kill" them, but maybe knock them out. There are puzzles to solve, missions, things like that. It would be so easy to make a MLP console game. I can't believe it hasn't been done already.

  10. Android 100%. I hate Apple's philosophy of not letting you do stuff. I had an imac at work and could not do nearly as much as with my PC. I like how I can browse my files on Android, swap memory cards, change the battery! I HATE itunes. It's like Android copied Apple but actually lets you do stuff.

  11. Pet peve of mine: DVDs and CDs are digital content. Selling a game on a disc is distributing it digitally. I'm trying to change the bad nomenclature. Technically a piece of paper with 1s and 0s is digital content.

I am a game collector and I will not buy medialess (a better term?) content. I like having something tangible. I like the control. I don't want someone locking out my content or deleting it, like Kindle did. I don't want to have to be online just to play a game or read a book. I know there is medialess content thay you can still have control over. That's fine for some stuff. But as a collector there is no point in paying for something virtual that I don't have time to play.

  12. I have a degree in physics so I could help with physics and math up to calculus. It's been a while but I'm sure I can help with anything at college level. I work 15 days on and 6 off so it might be hard to find time.

  13. In one of the comics, I think it's the Rainbow Dash micro series one, there is a reporter on a TV screen. It's true that the technology seems to be inconsistent. They do have electricity and steam power. I think that magic has taken place of technology in some respects. They have no need to invent certain things due to the magic. Also, it may be a cultural choice for them to prefer the simpler life, at least in Ponyville.

I'd buy a Ponystation. How about a Game Colt Advance? .....Ok that's the only one I could think of.

  14. I still have nightmares about college. Usually the dream is that there is some test for a class that I hadn't been to all semester. One time when I was in college I had a dream that was so bad that I had to check my schedule to see what classes I was in. I've been out of school for years but sometimes I still have the dreams. Why can't I dream more about naked ladies?

  15. Just for the sake of argument I'm going to assume this is taking place in the MLP Universe so I"ll answer accordingly

    1. "I'd love too" with a warm smile

    2. My OC is a pegasus, So I'd probably horse around and race, fly around, that sort of thing. If you haven't guessed yet my date is Rainbow Dash

    3. Have hot, passionate pony sex.

Haha I love it. Somehow "passionate pony sex" sounds acceptable in this community.

For me, the probability that a talking cartoon pony would ask me on a date is infinitely more likely than a real human asking me.

It depends on which pony asked me. I think Rainbow Dash is the cutest, but really I think Twilight would be a better match for me. So I'll assume Twilight asks me out.

    1. I would act nonchalant but fail. I would try to make awkward small talk and not know what to do with my hands. I imagine she would also be nervous and not know what to say.

    2. We would probably go for a walk in the park. Early evening, as the sun is setting. Then we'd have dinner at an outdoor cafe. We would talk about philosophy and books. We would go to my place and I'd show her my collection of books and video games. She would be impressed at my nerdiness.

    3. I would walk her home. I would take her hoof and look into her eyes. She would blush and look away. I would look away too. Then, wanting to act before things got too awkward, I would say “Twilight?” and she would look up. I would kiss her lightly. She would kiss back. “Good night, Twilight.” Then I'd wander the streets all night, not being able to go to sleep.

  16. That depends. If it's a legitimate joke, then I get it. But if it's just a lame reference to some obscure TV show or game I haven't played, then I don't get it. But I don't consider those jokes. I like some puns, but in general they make me mad. Bad grammar makes me angry.

Is it okay to be angered by bad grammar?

  17. I think the comic COVERS should be canon. Botcon had an exclusive cover with Optimus Prime holding Pinkie Pie. This puts MLP in the Transformers universe. Transformers also crossed over with GI Joe, so that puts them all in the same universe. I'm sure the connection can be taken further.
