  1. Nintendo 3DS

    Nintendo 2DS

    Switch

    PC

    PS2

    XBOX 360

N64(I still have yet to play it since my tv isn't compatible with the wires lol)

I'd love to save up for a Xbox series X at some point, I haven't really played much console games besides switch but some of the XBOX games coming out look like fun and I would love to try it out!!

  2. I was updating some Fallout 4 mods and also did a row of this project that I'm working on.  Still not used to crochet as much as I was used to since I took a break from it but it's coming along nicely and hopefully I'll be done with it by month's end(it's Tunisian crochet so it normally takes longer than regular crochet and it isn't actually Tunisian, it's just called that for some reason).

But the stairs are right next to the door in Animal Crossing and yet your luck depends on what kind of items you put in the house so it has nothing to do with the stairs.

I know, which is why I put it in the topic of "Strange Superstitions"

On the other hand, half of the houses in my village have the stairs close to the front door.

I failed to see why it's bad luck

lol, I don't get it much either but I just remember when my mom was planning to build a home, a lot of the houseplans she was looking at had visible stairs from the front door and people would be like, "no that's bad luck!"  I guess it's just a cultural thing

  5. Entry ways to your home must be pointing east and the back west to bring the best luck to your household and it'll help spirits move through your home without them getting stuck there(also good for anyone who passes in the home)

Never have the stairs inside your home visible from the front door, it's bad luck

This might just be because I'm first nations but smudging just works, had a bad day?  Smudge yourself.  Have a good day?  Smudge yourself and thank the creator.  Moved to a new place?  Smudge.  Moving out?  Smudge your old home and give thanks.  Woke up feeling great?  Smudge and give thanks for a great sleep.  I wouldn't call this a weird superstition but smudging makes me feel better.

Speaking of smudging, I do find needing to put the cold ashes at the front door to be a bit odd and it kinda sucks that I can't do that since my landlord thinks it's a "fire hazard" like, I'm not flicking cigarettes haphazardly out of the window or something damn...  But it is weird to me, maybe because I haven't figured out the why yet lol.

  6. I love to bake

I believe it's bad luck to let a guest leave my home hungry

I still have a hard time deciding what I want to do with my life but I like to think that I have at least a better understanding of what I want to do

My favourite season is autumn and my end goal is to have a Halloween themed home year-round(because yes I'm tacky) if I can ever afford getting what I want

I consider myself a goth even though I may not dress like it right now lol...  Another reason I want to sew and crochet is to make a wardrobe that I'd actually want to wear one day

One of the long-term goals I have for a birthday celebration is to have a one-shot RPG session with distant family and friends through some sort of service like discord.  Like, one of these days, I think it would be cool to chill out with my cousins, dad, aunts/uncles and all of them and just play some sort of game with them.  Maybe something simple, or maybe make my own game up????

Which brings me to another fact, I love to collect Pen-and-paper RPG core rulebooks.  Most of what I have in PDF form is from Humble Bundle packs, free offers or otherwise on sale somehow.  I would LOVE to have a full bookshelf of rulebooks and stuff.  Hopefully, I can play them one of these days lol...  I especially want to play Pugmire or my Star Trek: DS9 game I have.

I think it would be really cool to learn how to make shoes, like, I just really want a pair of winklepickers that actually fit my fat feet while still looking good lol.  I wish more places sold goth shoes/boots with wide feet in mind or an option for between sizes?  Like, I'm a 9.5 US men's size and it's practically impossible for me to find a shoe size that I can fit(doesn't help with these duck feet lol) without having to look into getting custom shoes made which is impossible for my budget lol.

I want to learn Japanese one of these days, along with German, Anishinaabemowin and maybe even try taking another swing at learning french

I've always wanted to go to Anthrocon!!!!

I've also always wanted to go to a LARP event

  7. I had this dream where my grandpa was alive again but he was suicidal because grandma had recently died and he wanted to join her.  So one day, he randomly wandered off, got on a bus and just walked.  My brother and mother were there following him with me and we found him in this really weird city, just walking along the riverfront.  We tried to leave the area but the bus wouldn't allow us to go back on because there was some sort of permit needed to leave the city for some reason.  The four of us end up wandering this city, my brother ends up joining one of the gangs there and me and my mom try fighting against the gang and try to leave.  I think my grandpa ended up getting killed at some point too?  After a while into this dream I just don't see him again so I assume he got his wish.  The dream ends with me and my mom finally getting on the bus and we just look so messed up and we've seen a lot of shit in the dream too...  idk the dream's kinda fuzzy right now lol.

I hope churchless version is real. If I ever marry someone, I don't want it to be big and/or loud.

There're marriage celebrations all over the world, not simply christian ones.  Hell, you could make up your own traditional wedding with traditions you made up.  Or just have a small courthouse wedding since you'll need to sign legal documents in the first place in order to become legally wedded to someone.  Not every wedding needs to be a big, flashy, religious affair with hundreds of people attending, it's really up to the couple and what they want in a ceremony.
