As you are aware, this year is the 35th Anniversary of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  But what's really surprising is that there will be tons of content coming out when it comes to the franchise.  So far, it's confirmed that one of the Equestria Girls Youtube specials will be due out next month based on the "Friendship to Remember" book.  But it doesn't look like Hasbro is gonna slow down, especially with the 2017 Movie out on DVD and Blu-Ray.  We know Season 8 is going to be Yuge, I mean Huge with the Friendship School as the theme, not to mention the return of Queen Chrysalis as well as another familiar foe.
But it seems we're not gonna end there.  There's going to be more Equestria Girls specials this year following the Friendship to Remember adaption.  And there's rumors of a
But if you ask me, it seems Hasbro and the gang are pulling out all the stops for the big 35th Anniversary of My Little Pony.  Never have I seen so much content come out involving this franchise.  I feel as if this will be the BIGGEST year of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  And when the year is over, I'm most likely to welcome the hiatus and take a good long break.
As for me and my artwork, I am going to double down on it.  So far, I have released two drawings: One of Trixie and one of Starlight Glimmer.  A future drawing idea would include Starlight and Trixie enjoying some time in a hot tea bath, with a future Lord Tirek drawing I may consider.  Question is: What to put Tirek in?

We have entered 2019, having come off of Season 8 and the Best Gift Ever special.  And judging by what's going on with Hasbro, it looks as if Season 9 will be the final year of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic(Unless Hasbro pulls a fast one and announces ether a 10th season, or goes all out with some new specials or a Youtube series).
It's been a long ride for me and the series.  I've enjoyed the entire cartoon, some of the merch(Including the famous MLP SDCC 2012 Derpy Hooves Figure.), interacting with the cast and crew, and even partaking in some of the best of the fandom(Including the SFM parts).  I may stick around in the future, just in case there is a MLP G5.  But if anything, it has been a blast with My Little pony: Friendship is Magic

P.S.  I need to buy the entire series on DVD this year.

WIth the surprise reviews of the new Bumblebee Movie(Currently standing at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes), I actually thought about a Princess Celestia Live Action movie focused on the Princess of the Sun.  But unlike the source material, this is less saccharine and more serious.

The movie title will be called Celestia.  The characters are....
    Princess Celestia(Ideal actor: Nicole Oliver)
Princess Luna(Ideal Actor: Tabitha St Germain)
    Queen Chrysalis(Ideal Actor: Kathleen Barr)
    Thorax(Ideal Actor: Kyle Rideout)
    Pharynx(Ideal Actor: Bill Newton)
Megan Williams(No idea on who should play her)
    Jack Williams(Ideal Actor: Hugh Jackman)
    Optimus Prime(Ideal Actor: Peter Cullen)

The story starts out in Equestria.  Princess Celestia is running away from a Changeling invasion by the request of her sister Princess Luna.  She is badly injured from the attacks by the Changeling Hive.  Deep within the forest, Celestia discovers a cavern that contains a mysterious portal.  Without a second thought, she jumps on in, hoping to evade her pursuers.
She appears on Planet Earth, still as the Alicorn she started out as.  But her injuries have left her tired.  She struggles to get forward and decides to rest for a bit, hoping to heal up her wounds.  As she did, she met a human girl named Megan Williams.  Megan realized that Celestia was sentient like her, but was also badly hurt.  She helped Celestia get up and took her to her home, allowing her to rest in a nearby barn.
Her father is Jack Williams, a veterinarian who also owns an Animal Sanctuary, looking after those who need it.  He barely talks with his daughter, and sometimes snaps at her in anger.  Despite his problems, he is not a bad man, nor does he even drink booze.  One day, Jack discovers Megan tending to Celestia.  At first, Jack was upset over Megan hiding this from him.  But his concern was more towards Celestia's well-being than to scolding his daughter.  With a little help, Jack was able to patch up Celestia and allow her to rest in his barn.  Though he criticized his daughter for not telling him about Celestia's presence, he began to understand why she kept her from him.
For a month, Jack and Megan looked after Celestia in hopes of nursing the Princess in exile back to full health.  It is discovered that long ago, Jack once had a wife named Amanda Williams(Who would be played by Nicole Oliver).  Months ago, Jack lost his wife to cancer, and despite making a promise to look after Megan, the loss of Amanda left Jack a broken man.  Through helping take care of Celestia for Megan, Jack admits that Celestia reminds him of his late wife.
BAck in Equestria, Queen Chrysalis has managed to take over the kingdom.  But she is upset that she doesn't have Princess Celestia or Princess Luna as her captive.  When Thorax makes a suggestion to Chrysalis, the Changeling Queen grabs him by the tail and tosses him aside.  Later on, Thorax and his brother Pharynx discover a portal in the same area that Celestia disappeared into.  Thorax reported the findings to Chrysalis, only for the queen to instead commend his brother for the action and to simply ignore Thorax.
Back on Earth, Jack and Megan show Celestia the Animal Sanctuary that they and the late Amanda built.  Its purpose was to allow animals who were harmed by man's own devices to have a place to call home.  It is there that Jack looks after them with help from Megan.  He also admits that some humans eat meat in addition to vegetables that equines like Celestia eats.  But Jack and Megan are vegetarians.  They invite Celestia inside and allow them to have a meal together.  It looked like Celestia was finding a new lease on life.
But one night, Celestia had a nightmare of seeing her people being tormented by Chrysalis.  So the next morning, Celestia told Jack and Megan that she had to do a little soul searching and took off.  Jack wished her the best of luck before going back to look after the animals with Megan.
Celestia found a spot nearby to reflect on the events that transpired.  As she did, she would meet up with another strange from another world: Optimus Prime, Leader of the Autobots.  The two would share a chat together on their own conflicts.  Celestia has to deal with the confrontation of saving her people from Chrysalis, while Optimus still has to help protect his Autobots from the Decepticons.  The two realize they may have more in common than they realize.
At Jack's house, Jack and Megan are confronted by agents of Sector 7, demanding the whereabouts of a rogue horse with wings.  Jack tried to deny any wrong doings.  But he realized that these aren't Sector 7 agents.   They're changelings, and Queen Chrysalis is leading the group.  Chrysalis orders her hive to tie up the father/daughter duo and use them for bait to lure out Celestia.
At the same time, Celestia began to detect Chrysalis' presence and knew the Williams were in trouble.  Optimus encouraged Celestia to go rescue them, and mentions that this is her fight.  Celestia thanks Optimus and takes off for the Williams home.
Back at the home, Chrysalis berates Thorax again, tossing him at Jack Williams and mentions how worthless he is regardless of his loyalty.  This makes Pharynx question his loyalty to Chrysalis.  But as the Changeling Queen mentions that no one will be able to save Jack or Megan, Celestia shows up just in time.  She uses her magic to free Jack and Megan from their bonds.
Chrysalis fights Celestia, hoping to use her as a means of causing all of Equestria to submit to her.  Jack and Megan fend off the Changeling swarm.  But to their surprise, Thorax and Pharynx takes sides with them and turn against their own brothers and sisters.  Phyarynx cares more about his brother Thorax than his Queen.  Thorax, burnt out by Queen Chrysalis' ultimate disapproval of him, decided to join his brother.
The fight is taken outside where Celestia, Jack, Megan, Thorax and Pharynx battle Chrysalis and her hive.  But during the fight, Chrysalis creates a cloud of black smoke to surround everyone, and target Jack Williams.  Disguised as Jack's late wife Amanda, Chrysalis attempts to seduce Jack and take advantage of him missing his wife.  Jack was tempted at first.  But the choice of words by Chrysalis allowed Jack to snap out of it and finally put his past behind him.  Chrysalis changes back and attacks Jack, only to be countered by Celestia.  The Princess of the Sun held nothing back in fighting Chrysalis, with the rest of the hive knocked out of comission.  Jack, Megan, Thorax and  Pharynx would also help Celestia beat back Chrysalis.
As Chrysalis was on the verge of losing and began to resort to dirty tricks, Princess Luna shows up out of nowhere, having followed Chrysalis to Earth.  Chrysalis recognizes Luna and begins to attack, only for the Princess of the Night to transform into Nightmare Moon  She uses a Nightmare attack to break Chrysalis' spirit and leave her in complete fear, thus ending her rule in Equestria.
Celestia was glad to reunite with her own sister Luna.  Luna admits that had something bad happened to her big sister, she would have went mad, and no force in Equestria or Earth would be able to stop.  The two would share a bond together with Jack sharing a bond with Megan, and Thorax with Pharynx.
Later that day, Jack and Megan said good-bye to Celestia and Luna as they departed with the captured Chrysalis and her Changeling hive.  Celestia promises that Jack and Megan will be welcomed in Equestria.  But despite getting a pardon from Celestia, Thorax and Pharynx chose to stay behind, fearing that no pony in Equestria would appreciate a Changeling in their midst.  Jack and Megan hired them to help out with the Animal Sanctuary.  They even take up human forms to fit in.
Celestia and Luna return home to Equestria, hailed as heroes for stopping Chrysalis.  Though Celestia admits....she does miss her time on Earth, and hopes to return there again one day.
The story ends with Optimus Prime narrating the new lease on life that Jack and Megan are now going through, and wishes them a bright future.

The idea goes like this.  And it would be a 2 hour special.

Twilight Sparkle has decided to put on a stage show in a brand new stagehouse theatre.  She hires a number of familiar characters, including her friends, many of the familiar side characters, and even the villains.  Like with the Muppet Show, there are a number of random skits that are based on certain characters.  There is even going to be mash ups on random characters.
But as a part of the side plot, the Villains are scheming to overthrow Twilight Sparkle and take over the Stage House just to put on their own shows.  The villains are
    Princess Luna/Nightmare Moon
    Discord(Ringleader)
    Queen Chrysalis
    King Sombra
    Trixie
    Sunset Shimmer
    Lord Tirek
The Dazzlings(Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk)
    Starlight Glimmer
    Gloriosa Daisy/Gaia Everfree
    Stygian/The Pony of Shadows
    Cozy Glow
    Princess Celestia/Daybreaker

But they also have a mole within the Mane Six.  And they have a regular contact with this mole off screen.  No one in the audience knows who this mole is, though it is hinted to be Fluttershy.

Near the end of it all, the villains turn on the Mane Six and Spike, revealing their plan to conquer the stage house.  Twilight and her friends are even more appalled that Celestia, Luna, Sunset, Starlight and Trixie would take sides with the other villains, with Fluttershy being upset at Discord staging it all.

But the biggest plot twist is:

As I'm considering about re-watching Space Jam tomorrow, I'm thinking of an ideal Space Jam RPG which I dub "Space Jam Gaiden." This is an idea that Warner Bros should consider with Obsidian Entertainment as the developers.

The story involves the city of Warneropolis being taken over the the All-Star Mon-Stars, who now implement a dystopian orwell-like status for the entire city, and even forcing citizens to take up Basketball regardless if they like it or not. They even imprisoned well-known Basketball players, including the legendary Michael Jordan.

But thanks to the work of Batman(Yes, that Batman. I always wanted DC Comic characters with Looney Tunes), Michael Jordan escapes the maximum security prison and is now apart of a resistance movement dedicated to bringing down the All-Star Mon-Stars and their co-horts through a Final Fantasy VI/Chrono Trigger-like RPG adventure.

    HEre's how the dream went.

It started with Sunset Shimmer falling behind on her grades, and she begins to panic.  Under my avatar Danged Spell, I volunteer to tutor her in getting another A and redeeming herself in the eyes of the teachers at school.  But one day on the big test, something goes wrong and Sunset turns into her Demon form for no reason.  She even struggles to get control.  Twilight and her friends were able to break her loose.  But the school board demands that Sunset Shimmer be expelled, unless the Principal were to lose her job.  This causes Sunset to return back to Equestria in tears.
As the Twilight of Earth and the others ponder a world without Sunset, I learn who was behind it: Cozy Glow: Super Intendent Neighsay's daughter and student of Canterlot High.  I try to help her, but she loses control and fires some sort of magical beam right at Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna, turning them into Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon.  They go at each other like hate was in their eyes.
Without a second thought, Earth's Twilight contacted Sunset and convinced her to return to save the Principals.  Meanwhile, I try to comfort Cozy Glow and get her to stop attacking other uncontrollably.  When Sunset returns, she is overpowered by both corrupted principals, with the students and teachers of both Canterlot High and Crystal Prep getting battered down.  It takes Sunset and her friends all their magic to save both Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna from their nightmares.
But as everyone celebrated, Super Intendent Neighsay came by, furious by the damage both Celestia and Luna did, and even more furious that Students and Teachers of both Canterlot High and Crystal prep got involved.  By his and the School Board's orders, every student(Including myself) of Canterlot High and Crystal Prep were expelled from the school system, every facility member fired, and both schools were shut down.  I called out the Super Intendent and even pointed to the neglect he caused his daughter, even going as far as to expel her, who apparently is ashamed at her father.  But Neighsay turned the other cheek as if he had lost his will to love.
With both schools shut down, magic is now completely unchecked.

So at first, I thought my next convention would be the big one: San Diego Comic-Con.  But surprise.  The Anime Conji is back.  After going on hiatus for two years, the Anime Convention came back to San Diego recently, and I have completed my first day there.

My first panel didn't start till 3PM.  It was about Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir(Currently available on Netflix).  It was hosted by voice actor Ezra Weisz, who serves as the Voice Director for the series.  But he was a bit over the top in his panel.  I may check the series out later on.  What do you guys think?
My second panel was directly after his: An Intro to Voice Acting panel by Morgan Berry.  She has alot of talent under her belt like Marvel's Avengers Academy as Silver Sable, Amaterasu on the video game SMITE, Linda and an Underling on Hyperdemention Neptunia, and Madam Sharkley on One Piece to name a few.  A lot of her work is through FUnimation.  Her Youtube account is AnUnknownSongbird and her Twitter is @TheMorganBerry.
And finally, after not seeing him since 2014, I reunited with Kyle Hebert with his own VA Panel.  If you don't know, Kyle is known as Adult Gohan, The Ox-King and the Announcer on Dragon Ball Z(And now Dragon Ball Super), Grandpa Garry on Be Cool SCooby Doo, the current voice of Big the Cat on the Sonic Series, and of course, Ryu on Street Fighter since IV and Smash Bros.  And he did say he wanted a random question.  I gave him one by showing him my GPD Win.  XP
So tomorrow, I'll be doing a full day at the Anime COnji.  ANd I will make a purchase.  My aim is to buy a book about different anime-style poses for the more cartoon-ish style.  After that, that pretty much seals it for purchases there.
  8. SaburoDaimando
A much longer day than yesterday.  Mainly because it went from 10AM to 6:15PM.
Alot of the panels were focused on voice actors.  Mainly because they had Voice Actors(And Directors) as Guests: Kyle Hebert, Ezra Weisz, Lia Sargent and Morgan Berry.  All 4 had panels that talked about their job as Voice Actors, how to become one, and getting into the business.
One panel that stood out was the Lip Sync battle, where a number of guests decided to  lip sync certain songs, like a Heavy Metal version of Africa, various Michael Jackson songs, and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.  Craziness ensured.
The only Non-VA panel I went to was all about the importance of Sound in TV Shows, Video Games and Cartoons.  IT was an interesting panel to check out.  Hosted by Audio Engineer Victor Frost.  He gave the 101 on what to do in creating sound to attract the audience, and what NOT to do.
Oh yes.  I gotta bring up my purchases.  All I bought was a book based on different cartoon-ish poses, and two Funkos.  One(Whis from DRagon Ball Z) went to my brother.  The other (Dr Wily from Mega Man) went to me.
As there is another day tomorrow, I will not be attending it.  As such, Anime Conji is over for me.  IT was a fun romp despite being smaller than Comic Fest.  I hope it returns next year in 2019(Maybe with Pacific Ponycon.  Maybe)
Anyway, I have a Baseball game to attend tomorrow.  So I'm logging out for the night.

So today at work, I had another brainstorm of an idea involving an Alternative MLP Universe.  The style is similar to Friendship is Magic, as well as the voice cast.  But many of the origin stories are a bit different, not to mention some of the layouts.  Here's how it goes.
In this alternative world, Princess Twilight Sparkle once had a student of her own named Majesty, a young filly unicorn who once had an optimistic future.  But one day, something went wrong and Majesty cut ties with her former teacher. This left Twilight Sparkle devastated by her failure.
Months later, Twilight and her friends Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy were able to defeat Starlight Glimmer, a mare with a troubled past.  Twilight, seeing Majesty withing Starlight, took her in as her student in hopes of giving her a second chance.
Though Twilight and her superiors Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were willing to give her a chance to prove she's changed, there are some ponies who won't forgive her for what she did, calling her an impostor, a Twilight Wannabe, and a Mary Sue.  This has left Starlight depressed, but there are some ponies that trust her in second chances.  Especially those who live in Ponyville.  Since then, Starlight has considered Ponyville her new home.  And she has a number of friends to help her out(Besides the Mane 6 and Spike): Trixie, BIg Macintosh, Sugar Belle, Double Diamond, Mr and Mrs Cake, Baby Lickety Split, and Derpy Hooves AKA Muffins.
One day, Twilight's former student Majesty appeared out of nowhere, armed with a tiara called The Wrath of the Windigos.  With it, she channels her own rage and hate into a powerful magical weapon, using it to devastate the Equestrian Kingdom.  Twilight wants to stop her former pupil, but Celestia insists on having her new pupil Starlight Glimmer stop Majesty.  Twilight was reluctant because she didn't want her new pupil to fall to evil again, or for her to succumb to Majesty.  But in the end, she puts her trust in Celestia and allows Starlight to embark on this quest to stop Majesty.
Starlight's companions are Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and Sunset Shimmer.   Sunset serves as a big sister towards Starlight, helping her out and guiding her to her right path.  Since Starlight's reform, Sunset has been looking after her, and for a good reason.  Like Starlight, Sunset had a troubled past of her own.  She and her younger brother Sunburst grew up as street rats in Equestria, trying to forge to survive.  They were often mistreated by other Ponies as if they were unwelcomed guest.  It took Celestia's own intervention to save both and take them in as her own students.
As Starlight and the others embark on their quest to stop Majesty, a young colt who is considered a fan of Twilight Sparkle wants to know why Majesty went evil.  A group of other Twilight fans don't seem to care, as they consider Majesty a traitor to Equestria, especially their leader.  Curious, this young colt embarks on his own investigation in Canterlot on what happened that day.  She was able to interview Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia on why Majesty went rogue.  Twilight's own assistant, Spike the Dragon, serves as a partner for the young colt in the investigation.
His investigation turns up to the family of Majesty.  The young colt and Spike were able to talk with Majesty's mother and father.  Majesty sounded like the perfect filly growing up in Canterlot.  So why did she go rogue?  Turns out, some ponies were sending her nasty letters, calling her "Imposter,"  "Fake," "Twilight Wannabe," and even "Loser."  And it wasn't just the words.  The parents witnessed their own daughter being humiliated when someone purposefully dumped a bucket of rotten vegetables on Majesty long ago as a mean-spirited prank, causing her to flip out.  She was even taunted and humiliated by what sounds like the same ponies from the Twilight Sparkle Fan Club.  This made the Young Colt began to rethink his stance in that club.
At Midnight Castle, Starlight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and Sunset were able to do battle with Majesty.  Despite her age, Majesty was able to overpower all seven ponies with the Wrath of the Windigos Tiara.  As the seven are severly crippled from Majesty's resistance, the young filly plans on using the fully power of the tiara to devastate Canterlot City as revenge for the humiliation she went through many years ago.  Starlight and Sunset began to see a similarity between themselves and Majesty, and tried to reason with her, even bringing in their own past.  But Majesty was not listening.  She would stop at nothing to unleash all of her hatred towards Canterlot, and destroy the entire city.
It was there that the sacred powers of harmony activated within all seven heroines.  Early ago, they were unable to use the powers of Harmony to bring down Majesty.  But Sunset's empathy and the spark in Starlight's heart were enough to power all seven ponies.  They use the Rainbow of Light to defeat Majesty and shatter her crown.  Even in defeat, Majesty was as defiant as ever, refusing to even consider a reform, only to accept her arrest by the Seven ponies.  Starlight and Sunset were only saddened by Majesty's own defiant stance.
After a short quest, Starlight, Sunset, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy return to Canterlot with Majesty in tow.  Majesty was put into a dungeon cell where she would await her own trial.  However, Princess Celestia portaled into the cell, wanting to know what really happened with Majesty.  She was willing to give Twilight's former student a second chance like how Twilight gave Starlight a second chance.  But Majesty refused to budge, even wondering why she would be given than when she's locked up.  Turns out, Celestia left the door unlocked, stating that Majesty could escape anytime she wanted, and start the whole cycle over if she desired.  But Majesty didn't even want to do so.  Without power, Majesty feels useless.
But when Celestia brought up some parts of Majesty's past that caused her so much grief, the young filly broke down crying, admitting that all that heckling, all that taunting and tormenting by a group of trouble makers was what caused her to abandon her studies in friendship.  Celestia now had an idea, and it involved Starlight's own ceremony.
That night, Starlight attended a ceremony with her friends, celebrating their victory over Majesty.  But as Starlight accepted the award from Princess Luna and Twilight, some former naysayers started seeing Starlight in a new light, at least giving Starlight some hope.  Then, without a second thought, a group of hecklers dumped a bucket of rotten vegetables on Starlight all just to humiliate her, and started to call her the same names that they called Majesty.  It was never about Starlight's past.  It was because Starlight was no Twilight Sparkle.  Devastated, Starlight ran off crying.  That alone angered Twilight, who called out those hecklers for being rude and insulting, even going as far as to blame them for Majesty's misfortunes.  In fact, she now knows that the group of Twilight fans were responsible not just for heckling Starlight, but also to Majesty as well.  When those same fans refuse to accept Starlight and even Majesty as students of Twilight, the Princess of Friendship throws down her crown and quits her status as Princess.  Princess Luna even scolds those very hecklers with some parts of the crowd becoming restless.
The young colt who witnessed everything called out his own fan club for their selfishness.  The leader refused to accept any blame, stating that it was about keeping Twilight Sparkle pure.  But some members of the fan club began to see the errors of their own ways, especially after the leader dumps rotten produce on the young colt's head for his own amusement.  The young colt departs from the leader of the group, throwing away his Twilight Sparkle merchandise in shame.  Soon after, some fan club members also do the same, leaving the leader all alone.
That night, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, APplejack, Fluttershy and Spike all went to comfort Starlight Glimmer after the humiliation she went through.  Not long after, Celestia, Luna and Majesty joined Starlight as well.  Majesty began to see the error of her ways and took pity on Starlight.  Starlight was able to cheer up and allowed Majesty to snuggle up to her.  Then the young colt arrives, ashamed at what his fan club did to Majesty and Starlight.  He even confesses that he actually had a crush on Majesty back then.  Some fan club members came to confess what they did and surrender, willing to pay the price for what they did.  But not the leader, who was angry over being ousted by the other fan club members.
As punishment, the fan club members have to attend community service to make up for what they did.  Majesty, Starlight and the young colt volunteered to help out.  For Majesty, she chose to do community service to make up for what she did as a villain.  Twilight and Celestia are only glad that Majesty was able to return and mend their ways, though Starlight has volunteered to be Majesty's newest teacher.  As for the former leader of the fan club, he has to spend an entire year cleaning up Canterlot City as punishment for his crimes.
Starlight has become closer to the ponies of Equestria thanks to her second chance, and for helping save Majesty from herself.  For Twilight, she couldn't have been more proud of her pupils.  And for Celestia and Luna, they couldn't have been more proud of Twilight Sparkle.

-I see no need to buy an XBone or a PS4 in the near future, not even their souped-up versions.
-Actually, I'm feeling like I'm losing interest in Big-boxed systems(Consoles, and in some cases, PCs)
-Thanks to the upcoming lineup coming to the Nintendo Switch, I'm now weary about all games coming out because it's becoming too much.
-On the other hand, even before the Switch announcement, I've been more into mobile/handheld gaming because of the fact that you can take it on the go.
-Indie games and smaller, more 2D games, are starting to catch my attention more than big budget 3D Games(I've enjoyed Sonic Mania and Steamworld Dig 2 on the Switch.  I also plan on getting Cuphead on PC.  But this game really needs to come to Switch)
-I like my Raspberry Pi, and the ability to play my old games
-Despite that, I have an NES Classic Edition(didn't pay scalper's prices.  XP), and I might get the SNES Classic Edition
-I'm gonna get a Win GPD this weekend because I still like the idea of your own personal computer in handheld form(Lighter to carry than a laptop)
-I'm double dipping on Doom for the Switch because I love the idea of taking Doom on the go.  And so far, from what I've heard, it's gud.
-I'm not ashamed of modding my games for more....cosmetic reasons.  XP
-We're getting closer to gaming nirvana on the go with the Switch.  I hope Microsoft and Sony follow suit.  In fact, give it the option to plug wirelessly into a TV set will suffice.

For today only, me and my dad went up to Anaheim to check out Equestria LA.  The reason why I went up there was for one reason: Pacific Ponycon was having the Winter off, and I figured I check out a Pony convention while waiting for Comic-Con to come back(Speaking of which, I have my pass for Comic-Con 2018 reserved.  So I am ready)
First off, I went over to the Autograph panel to meet Chiara Zanni, voice of Daring Do.  I also reunited with Vincent Tong and Tara Strong.  They all enjoyed my artwork that I gave them.  But Tara thought that one piece of art I did was done on canvas and scanned onto the computer.  It wasn't.  All of my work was done in Artrage 5.   Later tomorrow, I will show off my Equestria LA artwork.
On a side note: I showed Tara a SFM Video I did of Lord Tirek stealing candy from Flurry Heart.  She thought it was cute.
After a small break, I went back to Autographs to meet up with Jim Miller.  Besides giving him some of my art, I also talked with him about the Nintendo Switch(Which he owns) and some games to check out(Ex: Doom, Skyrim, Steamworld Dig 2 and Sonic Mania).  And I got him to try to give me a wet willy.  XP
I did manage to get into the exhibit hall at some point.  There, I reunited with Andy Price and got to comission him to draw my two Original Characters Wanda Young and Abigail Albright.  And I got to say: He did a great job with them.  I'll show them off sometime down the line.
And I finally did some panel watching with my dad.  First, it was near the end of another panel involving Storyboards.  There were some talking about fan art, and the use of fair use, that it's okay to sell some of your pony art if you're not competing with Hasbro, considering in some ways, they're light on this.  I was able to show them my 2 characters Wanda and Abigail just to show them what I can do with OCs(That are not Pony-Related)
And then the main event: Pony Mad Libs.  Early ago, I donated a dollar and a noun for the Mad Libs panel: BATMAN!  And sure enough, Tara Strong got a chance to say Batman, much to my delight.  But....some fool also threw in 2 nouns: Princess Sunbutt.  This lead to the idea of Batman switching PRincess Sunbutt's cutie mark.  (Where's Nicole Oliver when you need her?)
I was able to ask a question to the panels(But not before pretending to be in a fast food joint by saying "Yes, I Would like the double hay burger topped with szechuan sauce. XP)  What was it like to had your voice with June Foray?  Sure enough, Tara did meet June Foray in person, when the late actress got her award.(Fun FacT: I've seen the late June Foray in person at Comic-Con 2009.  RIP June)
Finally, it was back to the Autographs for one more round.  Except this time, the lines were long, and I was sweating it out.  I needed to also leave for home because my mom was gonna hace dinner with some friends of hers.  But at the last moment, my dad was able to help me out.  Turns out, I should have pointed out my special needs status(I have Autism), considering that I get anxious in lines.  As a result, I was able to meet up with three more guests.
    1) Gabriel Brown: He also liked my artwork of his character in a nod to Michael Jackson's Leave Me ALone.  It's also something I suggested to him with Michelle Creber
    2) Andrea Libman: Finally.  As with the others, I gave her a copy of my art: This time of Fluttershy as a Jedi yelling "EAT LIGHTSABER, JERK!"  I almost forgot my autograph from her.  DOH!  But I did give her a flash drive containing music that I enjoy, mainly so she could enjoy it(Plus some PC/Mac games).
    3) Lauren Faust: The first person invoived with MLP:FiM that I met back at Wondercon 2012.  She enjoyed the designs of my characters(And the drawing I did of Twilight and Starlight).  We got a picture op together.  But I did ask her questions
a: Why not have the title of Prime for Celestia and Luna:  Her answer: Too Sci-Fi
b: Why isn't Pinkie Pie a bit more like Bugs Bunny?  Her Answer:  Because we already have a Bugs Bunny.  XP

Anyway, that's out of the way.  Besides autographs, I did buy a Starstruck Plushie.
TWo notes before I close this.
Note 1: It's really sad that this is Equestria LA's final year.  Which means this was my only experience at Equestria LA.  And minus the waiting in line at the Autographs, I did enjoy myself and have a fun time.
Note 2: As of now, I am DONE With Conventions for the rest of this year.  I have done Pacific Ponycon, San Diego Comic Fest, Anaheim Wondercon, San Diego Comic-Con and Equestria LA.  I started this year with a Pony Convention and I ended it with a Pony Convention.  For now, I must rest till March, when Wondercon returns to Anaheim, and then San Diego Comic Fest.

So here's how the first day went.

First off, I took my brother with me and he went with me to at least three panels.

The first panel was all about "Take That, Adolf." It was all about the American Comic Book's war on the Nazis. They showcased a variety of covers, especially a few from Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. Interestingly, DC Comics kept mum about putting in actual Nazis in their drawings all while other comic book publishers went nuts.

The second panel was an episode of the X-Men: The Animated Series that focused on Wolverine's past with Sabertooth, Maverick and Silver Fox.

A third panel was about digital drawings, especially using Photoshop. While it is basic stuff that I know, the host did show me a technique that used the Multiply Layer technique and Masking.

Between panels, I went to check out the Exhibit Hall. Oh boy, it got bigger(I'd say there's more at this year's Comic Fest than at Pacific Ponycon). I felt a bit overwhelmed. I mean, what's next, Exclusives?

THere were two panels I went to afterwards. The first was a panel on former Disney and Hanna-Barbera animator Floyd Norman. He talked about his experience with working with Walt Disney, and his short time at Hanna-Barbera. He also had an experience with working on Disney Comic Books(Loved doing Goofy stories, but not Mickey stories)

The other panel was a mock trial involving Mutant registration and Sentinels. The key points where

    a) Mutant Registration
    Use of Sentinels
    c) Concentration camps for rogue Mutants
    d) Use of lethal force on Mutants

The panel ended with the Mutant Registration remaining, but the use of Sentinels being put on hold.

That's it for day one. Day two is tomorrow, but I am coming down with something.
  13. SaburoDaimando
Day 2 started after I completed today's episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
I went over to the Political Cartoons int he Age of Trump panel.  Lalo Alcaraz was joined by David G. Brown, showcasing some of their political work.  I was able to give Lalo my political artwork(And I managed to complete another piece as well) and he actually liked it.
After that, I went and saw some of the knights clash at each other similar to Comic-Con before having lunch.
Later on, I went to a panel starring Sara Karloff, daughter of the late Boris "Frankenstein's Monster" Karloff, where she showcased her baby videos with her father, along with two interviews of the late Boris Karloff.  Managed to get a picture of her before the next panel.
Which happens to be Frankenstein on trial.  What if the modern law were to try Frankenstein and his creation?  IT was a really interesting mock trial that details if the Creature can be tried as an adult, and what sort of crimes that Henry Frankenstein would be tried for because of his creation.  I later suggested to them to have a Batman-themed Mock Trial for next year, since it's also Batman's 80th Anniversary.  It must be good to be a Batman fan.

Tomorrow is the final day of the Fest.  I have a handful of panels to go to, and I'll finally make a purchase.  Most likely, it's gonna be a DVD based on the original Frankenstein.

Despite being sick, I was able to catch the 2nd day of the San Diego Comic Fest.

The first part of my day was at a panel talking about the late Jack Kirby AKA The King of Comics. He was well known for his work at both Marvel and DC. He also sounded like a cool boss to work for(Later on, I may post a small tribute to Jack Kirby)

There was also the talk about the future of Conventions, including the fabled "San Diego Comic-Con." Comic-Con is more of a mission-based convention while its New York counterpart is more profit-based. They talked about the trends going on with these conventions, and some situations with the next few years of Comic-Con.

My final panel was talking about the murals in San Bernardino County, basically next to the site of the Original McDonalds. They also talked abit about "The Founder" movie and I brought up the whole Powdered Milkshake scene(As fascinating as it was, it was also scary that you can have a Milkshake without Ice Cream or Milk)

It wasn't much of a day. But hey, better than being in bed all day. XP
  15. SaburoDaimando
As of today, the San Diego Comic Fest is once again over.

My only panels that I went to involved the following
    1) Comic-Con in 1977: Back before I Was born, Comic-Con was a really cheap place to get into.  Cheaper than Comic Fest and especially cheaper than today's Comic-Con(Yeah.   I'm looking at you $300 Convention for four days).  IT wasn't as huge as today's Comic Con, but I heard there was plenty to do at the El Cortez Hotel.

I also heard that back in 1980, Comic-Con got in trouble because of its Programming booklet that contained a topless woman

    2) Drawing in 30 minutes: The host of this panel demonstrated how to do quick drawings of a UFO, a Fish and a Dragon.  While he was overenthusiastic, it did help me with my drawing confidence(Especially with Whisper sketch)

    3) Floyd Norman: Mark Evanier explores the life of former Disney and Hanna Barbera animator: Floyd Norman.  He's a regular at the Comic Fest(And Comic-Con) at the age of 80.  Some of his work includes Sleeping Beauty, the Jungle Book, Toy Story 2, Jabberjaw, the Super Friends, Garfield and Friends, Beverly Hills Teens and even Courage the Cowardly Dog.  He's really fond of modern technology like computers, tablets and the Wacom Cintiq, and he(Along with Mark) got to see some of my Political Artwork(He and Willie Ito aren't fond of Donald Trump)

With this, Comic Fest is now over for the year.  My purchases?  A set of documentaries involving Movie Monster stars like Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi(Signed by Sara Karloff), and a Vacuum Metallized LEGO Deadpool figure.

My next convention is confirmed to be the BIG ONE: San Diego COmic-Con.  As there will be a My Little Pony panel there, here's hoping that the crew brings in Maurice LaMarche for the panel.
  16. SaburoDaimando
It was a short day today. All I did was three panels.

One was a discussion on the San Diego Comic Art Gallery. Strangely when I managed to ask my question, one of the panelists recognized me from when I use to play the Pokemon TCG at the old Wizards of the Coast store in Mission Valley. Surprising, isn't it?

There was also a panel involving Cartoons in space, from Space Ghost to Looney Tunes to even Roger Ramjet.

The final panel involved a discussion over Batman: The Animated Series, showcasing a pilot short to present to the executives at Warner Bros. It was more fluid compared to the actual final product.

Well with this, my time at the Comic Fest is over this year. I was a bit overwhelmed, especially with the exhibit hall and the Art Gallery. But hey, it looks like the San Diego Comic Fest has evolved since it first came to be in 2012.

My only purchase from that place was the Funko Maud Pie. But hey. At least it wasn't nothing at all.

Anyway, other than a single day at the Anaheim Wondercon(Maybe), I'm done with conventions for the moment.
  17. SaburoDaimando
It's not much of a preview night, but it will do in a pinch.

First off, I went and got Jay Fosgitt to do a comission for me.  It will be done sometime tomorrow.  So before I go over to Petco Park to play Rocket League, I'm gonna go pick up my comission.

Second off, I went ahead and checked out the Hasbro booth.  They showcased a small amount of upcoming MLP toys, including the SDCC Exclusive, the Starswirl Twilight figure, the Starlight/Trixie statue, and the upcoming Best Gift Ever figure set(Gonna aim for the one with Shining Armor/Cadence/Flurry Heart).

And apparently, as Hasbro owns the rights to the POwer Rangers, they also showcased the White Ranger costume from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2(Also from Gosei Sentai Dairanger).  They're doing a signing with Jason David Frank tomorrow, but time will not permit me to do so.  Besides, I've already met him in person.  There's another ranger who will be at Comic-Con tomorrow.  And his name...is Austin St. John.

Finally, I managed to play Smash Bros Ultimate.  It felt alot like Smash Bros 4, and I was able to play as Ganondorf and Ridley.  Sadly, I kept getting my butt handed to me.  The game is as wild as ever.

Tomorrow, we begin our trek with more Ranger, Star Wars, a meeting with a familiar face, and more.
  18. SaburoDaimando
So here's day 1 of Comic-Con.  It started out having to wait in the hot sun to even get into the Convention Center(Yesterday, I just waited in line in the Sales Pavilion).  First thing I did was that I went to the Cyanide and Happiness Booth to meet with Austin St John: The original Mighty Morphin Power Ranger(Red, plus Zeo Ranger Gold).  Surprisingly, there was no line for him.  So while I waited, I did have a friendly chat with him, and he apparently is intrigued by the Nintendo Switch.  I gave him a drawing I did of his character Jason Lee Scott as an Alicornified Red Ranger(I'll show you all this image later on)
Next up, I picked up an image from Jay Fosgitt of my characters Wanda and Abigail.  He did a great job of the drawing.
Then came the Star Wars: The Clone Wars panel.  I got it prior to the previous panel ending, and while the cast and crew looked back at the last 10 years of Star Wars the Clone Wars, they announced that there will be new Clone Wars content on Disney.  SURPRISE!
Then I was able to catch the Rise of the TMNT panel.  IT's a new Turtles series on Nickelodeon, with a new voice cast.  Eric Bauza returns as the voice of Master Splinter while Rob Paulsen will join in as a Voice Director(He will also voice a member of the foot clan with fellow VA Maurice LaMarche.  NARF!).  I was able to catch up with Rob and give him my new drawing.
Then I caught up with Greg Cipes, who I had a Skype chat with on Memorial Day.  I gave him some new artwork of my own(Will show off later on), and he actually liked a paining I did of the Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach.
Afterwards, I went down and checked out the Rocket League playoffs.  Note to self: Never eat a ton of popcorn, even if you got it for free.  I got pictures of myself with the Batmobiles, plus pics of the Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler and the Delorean from Back to the Future.
When I got back, I noticed that the Hasbro Booth was open season.  But here's the interesting part.  They were sold out of the MLP Toy for the day, while the Power of the Primes Optimus Primal toy was still widely available.  I was able to pick one up, plus a Bumblebee gift for a close friend.
Finally, I checked out two panels.  The first one involved writing and tips.  It was more about simplicity, making sure the lines you write match the character, and failure will be in the future.  Nicole Dubuc was there, and I gave her one of the new drawings I did.  I ended the day with the adventures in voice acting panel.  Once again, I didn't get the shot to try out.

Anyway, that's it for day one.  Tomorrow, I'm taking my dad down to see the My Little Pony panel.
  19. SaburoDaimando
So here it is.  The first day of Comic-Con.  And BOY Was it crowded or what.
A majority of the Panels I went to today took place in Room 6A.  A room that I will return to tomorrow for My Little Pony
    1) Teen Titans Go: I know.  It's not one of Warner Bros' best cartoons.  But I went there just for the heck of it, and got to see one of the episodes "The Night Begins to Shine," and it looks like a fun nod to the 80s.  Unfortunately, they only showed the first 3 parts of the episode.  The final part is still unknown.  Oh well, I'll see how it concludes in the future.
My question, which involved having Tara invoke Harley Quinn, was if there will be an appearance by the Joker, voiced by Mark Hamill, and they may consider it.
    2) Unikitty: I caught a bit of the animation after lunch.  But it looks like something I may consider checking out.  Only voice actor Eric Bauza showed up because Tara was at a signing for Teen Titans Go.  But Tara will voice Unikitty while Eric will play one of the antagonists.
My question was "Will there be an episode where Unikitty is angry cuz someone tipped over her chocolate milk?"  They gave a subtle Yes.  Which means, I want to see this episode.
    3) Justice League Action: The panel I came for, BIGLY.  They gave us not ONE, but TWO episodes.  The first involved Robotic duplicates of Justice League Members Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Booster Gold stopping Darkseid from analyzing their combat data.  The other invovled Booster Gold giving a Watch Tower tour to a small group that is really Toyman, Granny Goodness and....The Joker in disguise.
My question was, "Will there be a crossover with other Warner Bros properties like Bugs Bunny or Scooby Doo?  It might happen.   Might.

    4) Rocko's Modern Life: Another BIGLY one.  They had all the original voices there: Carlos Alazraqui(Rocko), Tom Kenny(Heffer), Mr. Lawrence(Filbert) and especially Charlie Adler(The Bigheads and the Fatheads).  There's a movie coming out next year called "Static Cling."  It's mainly a take that towards modern day technologies like Smartphones and Taco Trucks.

My question, after pretending to be a customer at a Fast Food Restaurant, was "If there was going to be a spin-off based on the Fatheads."  Probably not.
I later gave a picture to Charlie Adler, and he liked it.  It features My Little Pony's Spike the Dragon.  Both G1 and G4.  I'll show you all later on.

    5) Batman: Mask the Phantasm: Yes folks.  This movie is getting a re-release on Blu-Ray.  I saw this originally on DVD, and it's a pretty neat movie that encompasses what makes Batman great.  I recommend giving it a shot when it comes out on Blu-Ray.  Sadly, I did not get to ask a question, but I gave Kevin Conroy a piece of Batman art that I did.

I did do some purchases between this and the final panel.  They happen to be two Rocket League Car sets(One for me, one for my brother) from UCC Distributor, and from MAttel: Two Justice League Batmobiles(They were in Limited Quantity.  That's why I bought two) and a Kylo Ren's STarfighter.
I also checked out a bit of the Adobe's Character Animator, where they showed off simplifications of rigging a character to a skeleton, and utilizing pre-set cycles(Espeically Walk-cycles) to help get them moving.  And yes, I have the program.
Finally, I did check out the Adventures in Voice Acting panel.  I do this every year in the event I get to try my luck as a Voice Actor.  But alas, I never get picked.  :(.  I did, however, give the guest actor Robbie Daymond a copy of a drawing I did.
Tomorrow's the big one.  My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  They're suppose to show off what's going on with the Movie and the rest of Season 7.  If I get the chance, I'll talk about em.
  20. SaburoDaimando
    Whew.  What a day.
First off, I lucked out and got a ticket to the Autograph session of My Little Pony.  Actually, it was alot easy to get one of those tickets.  I went to the Hasbro Booth as soon as the doors opened, and I was able to easily acquire a ticket.  And unlike in 2012, I made it to the My Little Pony panel.
Which is rather odd compared to back in 2012.  During that year, it was really hard to get into a My Little Pony panel due to how small the room was.  I only made it in 2013 due to a lesson I learned, and I was able to attend the MLP panels since then.  Recently, the panel got a little easier to get into.  It was almost like you could just walk into the room, sit back, and enjoy the time there.
The panelists all showed up: Tara, Tabitha, Andrea, Ashleigh, Cathy, Meghan, Mike and Daniel.  Oh, and Liev Schreiber was there.
All they showed was tidbits of the upcoming My Little Pony film.  Not only did this feel alot like a classic Disney film, but the Storm King reminds me of Hades from Disney's Hercules.
And yes, I did ask a silly question: What is your command, Storm King?  XP

Afterwards, I was able to reach the Autograph session.  It took some time, but I was able to meet up with the voice cast.  I gave out pictures, but I gave two very important ones to Tabitha and Cathy.  The former was because of what happened back in January, when she had to miss a day due to having to have her appendix cut out.  The latter is the same image I gave to Charlie Adler yesterday.  Both enjoyed it.
Afterwards, I was tired from going to panels.  So I ate lunch, and went over to pick up something from Mattel(The Wonder Woman set from DC Superhero Girls), and went into the Nintendo Lounge.  I was able to play a bit of Splatoon and Mario/Rabbids.  The latter was alright, but I only got a small taste of it.  I made a big mistake in the game, getting myself killed by a Rabbid Hulk.  Oy vey.

After eating dinner at the Manchester Hyatt, I returned to catch Batman and Harley Quinn.  It's a fun nod to Batman: The Animated Series that's really funny to watch.  Some parts remind me of the Adam West era Batman.  And Melissa Rauch did a great job as Harley Qunn, right alongside Arleen Sorkin and Tara STrong.
When I asked about Kevin and Loren paying tribute to Adam, Kevin gave a heartwarming story about his meeting with Adam West, how he got to work with him, how he was humble and was willing to let Kevin play the role.  I admit, it brought a tear to my eye.

Anyway, besides the Wonder Woman toy, I also got a Songbird Serenade pin and 2 Justice League/Power Rangers comics.

The next 2 days will not be as exciting.  But I gotta do this.  It's Comic-Con after all.

  22. SaburoDaimando
On day two, for the first time since 2001, I was accompanied by my own father to Comic-Con.  And yes, he was with me for every panel that I went to.

First off, I was able to acquire an Autograph panel.  But I also have a better prize: I got a VIP pass for the Hasbro Booth.  I'll explain after I talk about the MLP Panel.
Anyway, we secured our seats at the MLP Panel.  They talked about the new Equestria Girls special coming up, the Best Gift Ever special coming in November, and the rest of Season 8, which will feature what's left for the School of Friendship(Which includes the return of Tirek.  I am squealing for his return)
And I never imagine them getting a big-time guest star on My Little Pony.  But they got Rachel Bloom of all people.  In fact, she came to Comic-COn, and I got to meet her.(Check the images below)

Afterwards, I got to reunite with Tara, Andrea and Cathy.   I gave Andrea a special drawing of Chancellor NEighsay asking Pinkie "Are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

But after I got done with that, I was able to use the VIP pass to get into the Hasbro booth and I acquired the 2018 My Little Pony exclusive.  YES!  Now I don't have to rely on the Hasbro Website to get it.
We then went upstairs to check out the new DC Superhero Girls series.  And it looks like a more interesting series compared to the previous one.  And yes, Lauren Faust is heading this project.  Dear Warner Bros: Please get Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill onto the series.
Then we went to the LEGO DC Supervillains panel.  There was Fred Tatasciore, Tara Strong and yes...Kevin Conroy.  It's really interesting that they got both Kevin and Mark for this series in their respective roles: Batman and the Joker.  I'm thinking of getting the game in October.  And on a side note, I did get to ask a question in that panel.  And as a result, I Got a free LEGO DC Set.  Lucky me
After we went down to the Hyatt to pick up a prize, we went back to Room 6A for a Mickey Mouse panel.  Bret Iwan(The Voice of Mickey) was there.  They talked about the past 90 years of Mickey Mouse, plus they showcased his appearance in Kingdom Hearts.
Afterwards, we had one last break before going to see the Death of Superman.  It was a really fun film, and it showcased a more upbeat Man of Steel(Like the way I remember it), and of course, a Doomsday that worked so well.  There will be a sequel next year.
That's it's for Day 2 of Comic-Con.  It was a long day, but it was worth it.

  23. SaburoDaimando
Some bad news.  Early ago, I failed to arrive at a Comic-Con panel mainly because of how long it took to get inside the Convention center.  So I had to spend some time exploring while I waited for my next panel: The Quick Draw panel.  Surprisingly, after I got in, more and more people came in to watch both that and the Cartoon Voices panel.  But I did go downstairs to the UCC Booth and got a Mickey Mouse Steamboat Willie figure set for myself, a Rick and Morty Pin set for my brother, along with 2 Dragon Ball Z figures for him.
Anyway, for Quick Draw, Mark Evanier had his guests draw whatever they are assigned to, and they always come up with some wacky, kooky and funny drawings that give me a good chuckle.  Especially from Sergio Aragones.  He knows how to get a crowd riled up.
And then there were the Cartoon Voices.  Every year, Mark Evanier brings in voice actors to showcase what they are capable of, and they do a cold read of a classic play.  Mainly Rapunzel.  And boy do they butcher Rapunzel like it was made to be sushi.  XP
After that panel, I waited in line for a long time for the Batman: The Animated Series panel.  And in the end, the wait paid off.  They talked about Batman: The Animated Series coming to Blu-Ray on October 16th.  For anyone who doesn't know, Batman the Animated Series is regarded as one of the Best Superhero TV series, featuring the voices of Kevin Conroy as Batman, Loren Lester as Robin/Nightwing, and especially Mark Hamill as the Joker.  If you have never seen this movie before, I highly advised that you get it.
After a long break, I make it to a Star Wars cosplay panel that focus on a variety of female cosplayers.  There were some really nice ones, and it comes regardless of one's gender.  They also went into topic about harassment.  I learned that one of the panelists lost her home in a fire.  So I gave her some of my artwork.  She thanked me by giving me a hug.
Finally, there was Bronies in the Miltary.  For those who went to Pacific Ponycon in 2016 and 2017, the heads of those conventions have had a long history with serving in the military.  They talked about their experience on watching My Little Pony, but not without technical hiccups on the Powerpoint Presentation.
Tomorrow marks my final day at Comic-Con.  It's doubtful that I'll be buying anything tomorrow.

Today was more of an interesting day.  But what I will talk about are 3 people I reunited with that I want to see guest star on My Little Pony.
The first is Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman.  I enjoyed his recent work on Batman and Harley Quinn, which I talked about in my last entry.  I let him know that I would love for him to guest star on My Little Pony, and even brought up Tara Strong as one of the actresses.
The second is Water Jones, known as Zack Taylor the Original Black Mighty Morphin Power Ranger.  And I was able to let him know that I would like to have him guest star on My Little Pony.
And finally, the third is none other than the legendary Jason David Frank, known to all as Tommy Oliver the Original Green Mighty Morphin Power Ranger.  I brought up two guest stars that came onto the series(John De Lancie and William Shatner).  And fun fact: He's in another Hasbro project: Transformers Titans Return as Emissary alongside Peter Cullen(Optimus Prime) and Judd Nelson(Hot Rod)
    As for the panels...
The first is Quick Draw.  This is a panel where Mark Evanier hires artists to draw something random for the audience to enjoy from Mad Magazine's Sergio Aragones and Oddball Comic artist Scott Shaw.  When voice actor Phil Lamar came up to play a little game, the ARtists decided to troll him by drawing random drawings just for fun.  It was hillarious.
In the same room, Mark Evanier also hosted his annual Cartoon Voices panel.  This is where voice actors like Richard Steven Horwitz and Jeff Bergman test their skills out on what they are capable of to the audience, and when they get to do a cold reading of a random script.  And if you ask me, it's the mess-ups that make the panel more fun.

Later that day, I was FINALLY able to play Super Mario Odyssey.  It was a 10  minute session, but it was alot of fun exploring New Donk City.  Some parts of the game reminded me of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, where it encourages you to explore and locate any moons you can find.  I managed to find 6 Moons in my session before it expired.

And the final panel was the panel about Bronies.  They talked about the fandom, and the conventions they hold, from Equestria LA, to EVerfree Northwest, to BronyCAN and Pacific Ponycon.  I made a confession that I was able to get the three actors I mentioned early ago interested in guest starring on My Little Pony(Kevin Conroy, Walter Jones and JAson David Frank).  I even let the writer of Equestria Daily know about this and gave him a tweet about the three.

Anyway, my only purchase for the day, besides the three autographs, is the only Hasbro Item I bought: A Star Wars set consisting of Luke Skywalker and Rey from the upcoming The Last Jedi.  Surprisingly, they have plenty of those in stock..

Tomorrow will stand as my final day of San Diego Comic-Con.  And afterwards, the Convention will go away till 2018.  It's been a long and tiring Convention.  I can't wait to go to a more quieter con like SD Comic Fest  or maybe Equestria LA.
