I was just about to post something about that, but I see it's already up. I never was an Apple fan, but cancer's no way to go for anyone. Luna will cry for you Steve. The world has lost a great man.

Agreed. It's the idea that the things we do today have consequences years down the road that we don't even know about until much later. Like when Rainbow Dash pulled off the impossible with the Sonic Rainboom, she was just racing, she had no idea that it would impact so many other lives so far away, but it did. Things like that happen in real life too, not the rainboom of course, but what we do does have an impact on others, whether we know it or not. So, are we doing things that will leave a positive mark, or a negative one?

Of course. If I weren't I probably wouldn't be here. I would have seen through the memes and the funny pictures and the crossovers and realized that I'M WATCHING A SHOW FOR LITTLE GIRLS!!! As it is, when they came to take my man card away I beat them with sticks, pointy sticks, and told them I'd bake them into cupcakes if they didn't let me enjoy my show in peace.

Yep, I do security guard work, that's one way of putting it. Usually I sit in my air conditioned office, watch security cameras, and browse the internet (like I'm doing right now).

I can't remember where I got this Luna pic. I've been building my MLP portfolio since August, and somewhere in there this one got added.

Pegasus, absolutely. Aside from the fact that my favorite of the mane six is Rainbow Dash, I also identify with them as fliers. I got my pilot's license in high school and absolutely loved being in the air. It's the best thing ever! I haven't been able to fly for a couple years though, due to... stuff. So watching Rainbow Dash and the other Pegasi do their thing, I sorta live vicariously through them.

Tell me about it Swoop. This fandom is making me feel old, and I was only born in the 80s. All these kids of the 90s growing up and leading the brony pack. It's crazy! All the bronies in this fandom are crazy!

Hi everypony! I'm Tyroq (pronounced teer-ok). It's a name from an old fantasy series that means "god of the moon" and since I'm a Luna fan, I think the name is most appropriate.

I came here from EQD. Love a good pony forum, and this one looks to be shaping up quite well. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Let's see, about me. Well, I'm a security professional, and I live in the lovely and eternally boring state of Iowa, USA. I joined the brony fandom in August (as I posted in the poll thread). And yeah, lovin' it. Can't wait for episode 3, but even more for 4. Luna and Halloween! What could be better?

It's a very well done Portal Pony crossover, and it's the first fan fic I've ever read. In part it's one of the things that drew me into the herd.

Come on, the Free Neighsons have the secret to the Equestrian National Treasure! Imagine all that gold and those artifacts secretly hidden beneath Canterlot. Choose the correct society every pony. Choose and be rewarded.

I've adopted a sort of military strategy to the whole thing. Since I became a brony in August, I've started using pony memes, quoting phrases and lines here and there in conversation, but without saying where they're from. I've even shared some funny pony pictures and videos with friends. So this is phase 1: wear down their resistance by saturating them with pony cultural references in ordinary conversation. Phase 2 will come soon: coming out and talking about the actual show behind all the references and stuff.

I joined in what appears to be the 3rd most popular month for new bronies: August. Of course I never expected to become a fan of the show. It was something like, "what the heck's up with all these pony memes everywhere?" And yeah...

It was the weirdest feeling really, watching myself be assimilated but unable to stop it. It was like getting a werewolf bite and feeling "I'm doomed."
