:ButtercupLaugh: I've tried, but they're resilient! It makes for a fun thought exercise, though. They don't really think past the surface of the things they say, so it's pretty fun deconstructing the implications of what they came up with that day. :P

Hmm.. that could be it! I figured it played off of the anxiety I have about the health of my eyesight, but the real-life source of the anxiety isn't anything that would cause any outward symptoms, least of all heavy bleeding. :mlp_wat: I'll have to think more on it. I could see it being analogous to some character development I was going through at the time!

I see :ooh: . Well nevermind then ^^

Whatever it is, let's hope it's just that :P  .

Yeah, I was upset when he turned out to be Discord in disguise.

It would've been cool however if we had seen Grogar in his true glory.

Or even better, if he did everything alone.

Like, the true first ruler of Equestria, who created all the monsters we know of, coming back to take the throne? Would've been really freaking epic.

Yes indeed. I have to wonder what the story would have looked like then.

I suppose having the evil trio be the main conflict isn't such a bad way to go about it either to avoid complicating the plot... maybe they would've been redeemed or something, or still end up in stone.

Hey, uh general question. Anyone else wonder if Grogar was real?

You mean in G4? Most likely, but obviously it wasn't him in the finale. I wasn't a fan of the plot twist they did; like you took this ancient, legendary villain and turned him into a kitty in a box (i.e., not who you thought he was).

  3. Some Tyson chicken sliders and doritos.

Thought about eating a burrito from this one place, but I thought to save the money instead.

Definitely planning on getting some cookies and cream ice cream today tho:nom: .

It's more the people I'm around. :scoots: Think the type who'd argue with you for hours if you said people die when they're killed, but would put all their faith and life savings into the guy on the side of the road saying the world will end tomorrow if you don't give him $500.

Ohhhh. Maybe beat them at their own game by satiring them; that'll show them just how ridiculous they sound :orly: .

Those sound like terrible dreams! :sealed: I only remember having.. maybe one? dream relating to something being wrong with my teeth, but the memories are foggy now. Gah.

Hoping for a speedy recovery in advance for you!! :BrightMacContent:

One of my recurring nightmares is where I look into the mirror and realize I'm bleeding from one eye. It always freaks me out when I first wake up until I realize I can, y'know, see. :ButtercupLaugh:

Thankfully not terrifying as much as unsettling D: .

    Thank you!

Hmmmm, that's another interesting dream  . Maybe it has to do about the way you see yourself or just ... your perspective on things?

  5. Frustrated.

I guess I shouldn't talk behind people's backs. Just frustrated to have to talk about this stuff this late at night close to bedtime. I want to unwind from today, not talk about things related to money..

...huh. You're right, actually. That does line up with how I've been feeling lately.

    :ButtercupLaugh:!

I'm thinking "why" ? Hard homework assignment? Too many debts :ooh: ?

Actually I decided I needed to get my wisdom teeth finally removed (this Saturday) since I kept having dreams about my teeth either falling off or being very jagged and misaligned :sealed:. He's gonna yank em right out like he did my last set of teeth!!

  7. It's obviously Pinkie Pie; she looks like cotton candy and also all the cake and desserts she has probably has an effect on her hair :nom: .

(not that I'd eat Pinkie Pie if not just taste her..)

Followed it from premiere to the debut of Trouble in Tokyo.  Even have all of the tie in comics in either trade or issues.  That comic was the first to use the title Teen Titans Go.

Anyway, someone on GameFAQs brought this to my attention.  Remember when Starfire ending up in the future?:

Why do Cyborg and Beast Boy look so old ? Like, I thought they were teens :P ?

I guess... if they were 18 tops, they'd be about 38 :U . Still you'd think they'd look a wee bit younger... some people in their 40s look much older.

Teen Titans was one of many shows I had regularly watched after school. Like any show one likes, I was pretty invested in it.

Side note, scariest episode(s) were when Raven was seeing Slade despite him being dead. Hwew... dark stuff. Yeah that whole apocalypse part of the show with Raven was quite scary.. and dark.

I had a nightmare where I couldn't turn off my shower.

There was a hot water knob, a cold water knob, and... a "Turn Water On" knob that you had to twist before you could use the other two knobs. My shower isn't set up like this, so I don't know where this came from.

I twisted all the knobs to 0 (which was the unit I was measuring by instead of "off", for some reason), but the water kept running.

That's it. That was the entire nightmare.

    ??

Dreams have a meaning :ooh: .

In this case, maybe it's because you feel out of control  ? No not just specifically about the shower water :P .

Thinking about evaluations on information that always spouts much debate. Like what am I supposed to say? I suppose the answer is in the official books but not always.

  10. Finally arrived :ooh: . My kneeboard for when flying.

Old one wasn’t very useful and kept falling off (was basically just a clipboard with a strap, so limited use). I can put my phone on it and extra stuff since have extra pockets. I guess this is my birthday gift to me. I toyed with it a bit.

  11. Never actually.

I actually remember in 8th grade French, our teacher was talking about how "TV rots your brains. Worse if you have one in the bedroom". She knew I was one of her better students. She asked for a show of hands who had a TV in their room.

Me not raising my hand, I thought, "yes, you are probably feeling very validated right now".

Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024) Not bad, not great. It had the potential to be awesome but they didn’t really jump into the possibilities with both feet. Zhen, a new character in the form of a shifty little fox, was a great idea and the character design was fantastic, but the voice actor was so terrible that it pretty much reduced a potentially classic character to a merely average one. A little more femininity would have gone a long way toward making her more endearing, memorable and fun.

I Am Number Four (2011) This surprised me. I really liked it. I stumbled across this little gem about teens with super powers and the aliens out to destroy them, and enjoyed the heck out of it. It was obviously written and designed to be the first of a series, which is never a good idea unless the producers have a contract in hand guaranteeing further installments. And sadly, no sequels were ever made. Had this been made now, in the era of streaming series, it would have been a hit. But in this case timing seems to have been a deciding factor, and this cool movie had everything but the right timing.

There’s Something in the Barn (2023) This looked really good from the trailers, but it didn’t pan out. Following an American family relocating to Norway where their inherited property has a little infestation problem with some local Nisser (temperamental barn elves). It was a good idea indifferently executed. It had a lot of potential but being boring should not have even entered into the conversation here.

You watch a lot of movies  . I've been trying to indulge more in them as I have a hard time finding much to do on my own, or finding others to do stuff with..

I remember watching I Am Number Four in high school (saw it with my then girlfriend on a date). It was.... well not a bad plot I think. Hardly memorable though except for those few teeth gnashing moments, sometimes literally. The doggohhh....

I just watched Kung Fu Panda 3. Great movie as well (I finished 2 less than 2 weeks ago). They're really poetic and kind of inspiring if you ask me, with the themes. Teaching another not to be you but themselves (though I admit that's a very open-ended take), passing on the torch, uhh... well, I guess that just for 3.

I wouldn't be surprised if I met my future husband in the hospital at this rate. :ButtercupLaugh:
Maybe I'll get to talk with that handsome nurse again. Unrelated to the first comment, of course.

I assume you were there for a scheduled visit and not something bad, like ...dismemberment (I hope) ...

I'm thinking what to do right now. Board. Already toyed with my flight sim, and don't want it running in the background at the moment.

Oh no! I hope you can get more sleep soon. :worry: You know what they say: early to bed and early to rise.. :coco: I'm naturally inclined to wake up early, too. It's never gotten less annoying.

I can fall asleep pretty quickly and sleep through the house caving in, but any longer than 8 hours and I'll be battling a headache and nausea for the rest of the day. Less than 7 and it'll be a while of struggling not to fall back asleep.
This time I woke up because random ear pain was killing me :scoots: I'm fine now, just tired still.

No worries! That’s about as much sleep as I’ve gotten ever.  If I’m not asleep I still make sure to get enough bed rest.

Such a narrow sleep time  . Like trying to set the warm shower water just right :P .
