  1. Moon Beam smiled at Astrid, glad she had liked her gift. She then looked at the cub, smiling even wider at how cute it was. "Natsu.. I like that. Seems to suit him." She said, looking back at Astrid. "And, you're welcome. I mean, you deserve all of it, after everything you went through to get it." She laughed, then nodded at Steel and watched him as he walked away. "I'm back, Moon!" Senia called cheerfully. She pulled the cloud low enough so that Grell could hop off, but made it so that it wasn't touching the ground. "I would've been back sooner, but I found Grell in the forest.." Senia drifted off, a worried expression on her face as she looked back at the cloud. From where she stood, she couldn't see him. "Is he alright?" Moon Beam asked, looking worried as well. "I'm not sure. He-" Senia began to continue speaking, but glanced at Astrid. She didn't want to talk about such things around her, no matter how mature she was for her age. "We can talk in a minute if you want to, Astrid. But first, I'm going to check on Grell." Moon said, then flew up to where she could see him. For a moment, she hovered there, looking quite stunned. "Senia.." She finally said. "What is it, Moon?" Senia asked as she flew up to her side. As she looked down at Grell, she also looked stunned. "Steel! We need you!" Moon Beam called, not taking her eyes off of Grell. "Why does he look like that?" Senia whispered, her voice shaky. "I don't know. That's why we need Steel. He'll probably know.." Moon answered.
  2. Moon Beam plucked a blueberry from the bush with her teeth carefully, trying her best not to squish it. She sat there for a moment, smiling as she studied the rest of the berries. Suddenly, she heard hoof steps behind her. The smile on her face disappeared, and she turned towards the sound. Gently pressing her teeth together, the blueberry made a slight 'pop', and she began chewing the remains. Moon began to look around, searching for something that could serve as a sort of bag. Luckily, there was a small piece of cloth lying on the ground near one of the trees. She silently flew over to it, letting her eyescreen come into view. "Analyze." The cloth was clean. She picked it up, tied the corners together, then turned and grabbed a few hoof fulls of berries, quickly stuffing them into the cloth. She took a second to stop and listen, hearing the hoof steps getting closer. Moon Beam turned her head and looked up at the trees, she saw some fruit, which were more than likely apples. Not even one would fit in the cloth. "Buck.. I wanted one.." She said quietly, then smiled. Quickly, she flew up and grabbed one, then turned to fly back towards the 'room'. However, she saw two figures in the darkness, and they were walking towards her. She figured that they were the source of the hoof steps she had heard. One of the figures was tall, an alicorn of course, but the other was shorter. Not by much, but it didn't seem to have wings or a horn. "Earthy? But there aren't earthy ponies here.." Moon thought. She flew towards the figures, curious as to what they really were. As she drew nearer to them, she finally realized who they were. "Hank? Celestia? What are you two doing out here?" She asked as she lighted down in front of them. She stared up at the princess, then looked to Hank, waiting for an answer. "Oh, and while we are standing here, could you help me out a bit, Celestia? I kind of need an actually bag to carry these berries." She said, holding up the cloth filled with blueberries.
  3. Moon Beam left the small building, and began making her way through the small town, trying to find Dark Star. "Where could he have gone? He can't be far.. Can he?" Moon thought to herself. After searching a good portion of the town, Moon Beam realized it would take a while to find him. It had already been at least an hour, and Dark Star could be anywhere. She decided to head back to Steel and rest for a little, maybe catch up a bit, then continue her search. Moon made her way to the house, and slowly walked up to the door. She looked it over, taking every detail in. Sighing, she stepped up to the door, and put her hoof to the door knob. She hesitated, not sure if she was prepared to see the inside of the old house again. Suddenly, she heard a loud thud come from down the street. Her eyes widened, and she quickly turned the knob and pushed the door open. As she stepped inside, her eyes immediately fell to the floor. One of the floor boards was lifted slightly. She smiled, and nudged it with her hoof. She almost went to open it, but decided that could wait until later. Looking up, she scanned the room. It was quite dusty and most of the things hadn't been touched in years. However, she could tell Steel had already been there. "Steel?" Moon Beam called quietly. She turned and closed the door carefully, then began to walk through the rest of the house. In the kitchen, she saw pictures hanging on the walls. Most of them were of landscapes, ones she had painted. She smiled, remembering the times when she was able to paint for hours on end. Walking up to one of the paintings, she took a look around. "Steel?" She called again. Moon looked at the painting for a while, remembering everything about it. It was old and dusty and somewhat hard to make out, but she knew what she had painted. It was a painting of Steel. He was in the center of an open field, facing away from her. He was on his hind legs, standing tall and proud, holding two daggers outwards, to his right. If you looked closely, you could see him smirking. You could also tell that he was looking back, almost as if he were staring at the one looking at the painting. Suddenly, Moon Beam felt a tear fall down her cheek. That was a day she would have loved to remember a long time ago, but now is something she would love to forget. She back away from the painting, shaking her head slowly. "Steel?!" She called, looking away from the painting. Trying to compose herself and clear her mind, she began to breathe in and out steadily. "1.. 2.... 3.. 4.. 5... 6....” she began to count quietly as she walked out of the kitchen, trying to find something less traumatic to discover.
  4. Senia smiled, glad Grell was accepting her help. She was afraid he would be stubborn and refuse. However, he complied, which made her wonder a little bit, but she definitely didn't complain. She lifted the cloud into the air and began pushing it back towards where the others were. As they flew, her mind began wandering. She was thinking about Grell, and why he had been on the ground, twitching and mumbling. He seemed to be in some kind of pain.. Moon Beam heard Astrid begin to talk to her and Steel, and turned around to face the filly. She heard the awkward tone in the end of Astrid's sentence, and the slight pause as well. She tilted her head slightly, but decided to act as if she didn't notice. She walked back up to Steel's side, looking at him for a brief moment to see if he had noticed the little pause in Astrid's sentence. However, her focus was to be on Astrid, not him. "Uhm.. What was I talking about?" Moon thought aloud, looking down for a moment. Suddenly, her head shot back up and she smiled. "Ah, I remember. Your timberwolf, what's his name?" She asked, motioning to the small pup. Senia had been so lost in thought that she didn't realize the fact that they were almost right above the others'. She shook her head slightly, then began bringing the cloud down to the rest of the group.
  5. Senia looked at Grell, not saying a word for a while. She sighed, looking at the ground and shaking her head. As she looked back at him, a stern look spread across her face. "No, you're not fine. No, you were not taking a break. Yes, I will worry about you. No, I will not get my cloud and no, you will not make it back soon enough. Grell, you were on the ground twitching and muttering random things I couldnt even comprehend." She said, then turned away from him and looked up at the sky. "I'll be right back, and when I get back, you'll be right where you are now." She shot off into the air, finding her cloud in seconds. She grabbed it and flew back down quickly. "Get on." She said, looking at him with a very serious look, waiting for him to comply. Moon Beam looked at Astrid, an almost surprised look on her face. However, she laughed and shook her head. "Well look at her, not letting anything get in the way of her goals." She laughed, looking at Steel. She smiled, then motioned with her head towards the woods. "Want to go for a walk? It could give us a chance to relax a little after everything that happened today." Moon Beam asked, beginning to walk anyway.
  6. Moon Beam took a mental note of what Steel had said, but planned to bring back extra food anyway, just in case. She didn't want to simply take his word for it and have him go hungry. As she dodged the trees swiftly, she kept an eye out in every direction. She tried not to fly too fast, but she couldn't help it. She loved the feeling of the wind around her, and seeing everything go by in a blur. Soon, she spotted a group of bushes among a few trees. She could already see that there were berries on the bushes, and flowers on some of the trees. "Maybe they have some fruit growing. That'd be a mice treat." Moon thought alloud as she turned slightly to fly towards them. She lighted down, already delighted to see how many berries there were. She was about to eat a couple of them when a thought crossed her mind. "They might be poisoness.." She said quietly, looking at them intently. She couldn't tell just by looking at them, so she flicked her tail and her eye screen blocked her view. "Snap." She commanded, causing a picture to be taken of a few of the berries. "Analyze." Moon commanded again. The picture was thoroughly studied, determining that the berries were fine. "Hmm.. Type?" She asked, and in big blue letters, the word 'blueberry' came into her vision. Moon Beam smiled, flicking her tail to make the eye screen dissapear as she ate a few of the blueberries. "I am so glad I have that.." She muttered as she sat down and ate more of the berries. She planned to sit there for a little while and rest, then check the trees and get back back to Steel. For now, she liked the alone time.
  7. Moon Beam looked at Steel with a look of confusion, and tilted her head slightly. "Uh, yeah.." She said, a bit hesitant. "But I'm going to go and try to find Dark Star. Wish me luck." Moon smiled, then walked back towards the building her and Dark Star were in not too long ago. She figured he was gone already, but she wanted to check anyway. Before she crawled through the hole, she turned to Steel. "I'll stop by later and we can catch up or something. Sound good?" She asked. Moon Beam then crawled through the hole in the wall and into the building. She stood up, looking around. She didn't see Dark Star anywhere. "Dark Star? Hey! Where are you? Hello?! Dark Star!" She called, still looking around. "Huh.." She said, then turned to leave.
  8. Moon Beam smiled when Steel accepted the necklace, staring at it as it put itself around his neck. She looked into his eyes as her sparkled with delight. Suddenly, her attention was snatched away from Steel and to Astrid as she popped back into their world again. She smiled at the filly, glad she liked the gifts she had received. "So, Astrid, you chose a baby timberwolf? Very good choice actually. What's its name?" Moon Beam asked the filly, watching the little pup. Senia flew slowly towards the clouds, which most of the good ones were pretty high tonight. On a regular basis, Senia and Moon Beam built little tents or canopies or other structures to sleep in so it was rare when they slept on a cloud. Even then, they usually made a little cloud house of some sort. It was simply more fun for them. Soon, Senia found a pretty good cloud and began to bring it down. She began to hum a sing to herself, as she felt it was too quiet for her up in the clouds. As she descended lower and lower, she got this feeling in the pit of her stomach. She lowered towards the forest, and the feeling got stronger. Suddenly she saw Grell on the ground, twitching, bruised and scratched. Her heart stopped for a moment, and her eyes widened. She left the cloud in the sky and flew as fast as she could down to him. "Grell! Oh my Celestia, Grell! Can you hear me?" Senia yelled, doubting that he could. Even though, she kept calling to him. She didn't want to shake him, so she placed a hoof on his side, and began to rub in circles in an attempt to try and comfort him. "Grell.." She breathed, as a tear fell down her cheek.
  9. @dashian500 "I have no clue... I mean, maybe because I'm always in the shadows, and my safe places are the pub and my house in the clouds. So usually I'm in one of those three places." Moon Beam said with a giggle as she wiped away a few tears. Suddenly, a look of regret and sadness spread across her face, and she looked at the ground. She was so happy to see Steel alive, yet she was a bit upset about what she had said to Dark Star when she left. Moon looked up at Steel, an apologetic look on her face now. "Uhm, this is such a great reunion and all.. But I kind of said some things I didn't mean to to a.. An old friend.. And I need to find him and say tell him I'm sorry for what I had said. I'd hate to leave things like this, when we just found each other again. Also, I hate to do this when I just found out you're alive. But, I feel terrible. Forgive me?" She explained, and smiled at him.
  10. "So you like it? That's great! I worked pretty hard.." Moon Beam laughed as she looked around at everything she had done, taking it in yet again. Suddenly, she looked back to Steel, then flew to his side. She turned towards the beds, but kept her eyes on him. "Uhm, you can choose either bed. Of course, you get first pick. You're kinda like my guest so, your choice and what not." She giggled, then turned around, ready to fly through the vines. "I'm going to look for some food before we go to bed. Just make yourself at home, and I'll be back soon." Moon smiled, then flew through the gap the vines had made.
  11. Moon Beam dodged the trees quickly, following the root she now knew. She was eager to show Steel her creation, hoping he would like what she had mad for the two of them. Soon, they were pretty close to the room, and Moon Beam's level of excitement had risen immensely. She had a huge smile on her face, and she was giggling like a little filly. As soon as the little area was in sight, Moon Beam picked up speed. Once she was near the vines, they parted to let her and Steel through. She flew to the center, then stopped and turned to look at him. "So, what do you think?" Moon asked expectantly. She was hoping he would like it, and her heart beat a little bit faster with the fear that he wouldn't.
  12. Moon Beam was soon back to where she entered the forest, and she looked up through the opening in the leaves she had come through. She saw Steel hovering high above her, and she couldn't help but smile. Suddenly, she beat her wings with great force, sending her flying towards Steel quickly. As she neared him, she tilted backwards so that she was almost upside down, then opened her wings quickly to slow herself down. "Steel you have to come see this I made a little place for us for the night its amazing!" Moon exclaimed as she flew in circles around him upside down. "Come on!" She yelled, then grabbed his hoof and flew back down towards the forest with him, now flying the right way.
  13. When Moon Beam flew off, Violette and Line simply watched her and Steel fly together. They sat there for a while, glancing at the two ponies, then looking up at the sky and naming out loud the shapes of the clouds they saw. After a while, when they couldn't see Moon Beam or Steel anymore, they decided they would leave. However, they left a sort of note so that when Moon Beam woke up, it would tell her where to find them. (Mostly to kind of fill in where they were so they wouldn't be left out) Moon Beam flew through the forest dodging branches, vines, and trees. Her eyes moved back and forth continuously as she swiftly made her way around the area. Finally, something caught her eye. She stopped flying abruptly, her head turned to the side. There was a circle where no trees grew, and quite a bit of moon light slipped through the leaves since there weren't as many. However, on the ground was a patch of vibrant colored flowers. Moon stared at it for a while, taking in its beauty and figuring out exactly what she was going to do with it. Suddenly, with a brilliant idea fresh in her mind, she flew towards the patch of flowers. Her eyes danced as they searched for what she wanted, and a smile grew on her face as the idea became more and more detailed. Soon, she was finished with her creation, and she flew back to look at it. She studied it carefully, making sure she did it right. The floating roof was perfect, letting in just enough moon light so that it wasn't too bright or too dark. The grass beds were woven neatly, with the flowers accenting them gorgeously. The table between them made of a shimmering, colored glass she had learned to create made the area look quite eligant. The legs on the table with the carvings of the vines and roses made Moon Beam sigh, loving her work even more. The vines around the outer edge weren't acting as walls, but more to create a safer feeling for her, since there were many gaps, yet they were close enough to make it look like a room. Excited for Steel to see what she had done, Moon turned and began to fly away to tell get him. The vines opened up for her, then closed once she was through. She giggled with joy, proud of herself and ready to show off her creation.
  14. Moon Beam looked down for a moment, then back up at Steel, and smiled as her eyes glimmered with happiness. "That sounds amazing." She said, her smile widening. then turned to look down through the trees. "I'll find a good place to sleep for the night. I'm really good at that, and making beds." She paused, squinting to see in the darkness below the treetops. "I'll be back." Moon Beam called, then quickly dove down into the sea of trees.
  15. Moon Beam immediately hugged Steel back, holding him tight. She closed her eyes and giggled, a tear forming in the corner of her eye. "I thought the same about you... I'm just so happy you're alive, Steel.." Moon said slowly, hanging onto every word, every letter, every second they stood there together. She pulled away from him after a while, looking into his eyes. She laughed and her smile widened. Looking him over, she took in every detail of him, trying to remember everything about him. When she got back to his eyes, she smiled softly again. "I'm so happy you're still here.." Moon Beam breathed. Slowly, the tears started falling from her eyes. Suddenly, she hugged him again, and began crying uncontrollably. "I thought you were dead.. Gone.. But you're not.. If only I had known you were still alive, I would've tried to find you.." She sobbed, her thoughts everywhere.
  16. @dashian500 Giggling at Steel's reaction, happy to see he hadnt changed much, Moon Beam stepped our from behind the shrubbery. She smiled at him, hoping with all her heart that he would remember her. Something inside of her had this doubt about the moment, making her feel as if something would take a turn for the worse. "Steel.. That's really you..." A wide smile spread across her face. "You're alive.." she breathed.
  17. Moon Beam sort of rolled her eyes, then looked at Steel and laughed. "Aries doesn't like me, so I'm pretty sure he would mind, Steel. Anyways, I've slept in the forest plenty of times on my own. I like it better that way, so I can be alone with my thoughts and the night and forest..." She said as she began to trail off, looking away and smiling happily to herself. Suddenly, she looked back at Steel, the blissful smile still on her face. "I'll be fine." She said with a small sigh, slightly hoping he would try to persuade her to say yes. Although it was true that she was used to sleeping in the forest alone, and that she loved to do so, she also wanted to be as close to Steel as possible.
  18. "No limits, huh? That's risky." Moon Beam said with a giggle before sending Astrid another message. 'He said that you can bring the scythe into this world, and there are no limits on your Infinus, as I named it. I'm betting you know what I mean. But, uhm, be careful with it and don't create anything too harmful. I know you'll be responsible though, right? Just hurry back because Senia and I are anxious to see how you like your gifts.' She sent the message, then looked at Steel. She gave him an are-you-serious look. "Of course, Steel, I'm not stupid. Its more accessible to me at the moment, since I created it, and linking you to the scythe and Infinus was hard enough. But, you'll be able to get in if : 1, she's in serious trouble or: 2, she wants you there. Me, on the other hoof, can enter practically when I please." Moon Beam half smirked as she looked towards the circle of glowers waiting for Astrid. "But I wouldn't just enter whenever. That's not my thing." She shook her head, then looked back to Steel. "I'm still working on things though, so soon it will be more accessible to you than to me. And here." Moon Beam said as she looked towards the other side of her and watched a small chain with a crystal in the shape of a lotus float towards Steel. The crystal was a very transparent purple, and almost looked as if it glowed slightly. "This is to sort of help you I guess, understand the Everfree. And other creatures and forests as well, but its kind of an enlightening sort of thing. Also, it glows different colors depending on different things." Moon Beam said as she looked from the necklace to Steel. "If it starts to glow orange, it means that it is close to midnight. If it glows an intense purple, it means Astrid is near. If its a lighter purple, it means I am. And its almost the same with red, except it means one of us is in danger." Moon looked back at the necklace. "It has many uses actually, you'll just have to figure every one out." She said with a grin. "However, you have to accept it, as a special gift from me." And as she said this, the necklace floated slightly above Steel's head as if asking for his permission to place itself around his neck. Yet technically, it was.
  19. @TheDarkStar "W-what?" Moon Beam stuttered as she stared at the stallion, a but surprised and also confused. She was expecting him to agree, the adventure with her like they used to. However, not promise to help her leave. "Okay, I don't know what you're on, but you're definitely not thinking straight." she laughed. "Dark Star, I'm here for a reason, and you should know that reason well. I have a purpose here, and I'm happy. My home is up in the clouds, and I leave here and cone back as I please. Up there, the air is better though.." Moon adjusted the bandana on her mouth. "and I'm fine where I am. I don't need you to help me 'escape' or whatever, because I don't want to. I don't need to either." Moon Beam began walking away towards the hole in the wall she entered through. She lowered herself to crawl into it, but stopped and turned back towards the stallion once more. "And for 'old times sake', don't talk to me if you see me at the pub. I don't want to converse with some pony so naive to think that I needed help leaving this place, when if I wanted to, I could've years ago." She spat, then turned and crawled through the small space. @dashian500 Once she was outside, she spread her wings and was about to take off when she heard hoof steps on cement. Quickly, she ran into a group of trees and bushes and expertly hid herself among them. Moon peered through the leaves, watching the approaching pony. Suddenly, she gasped, not able to believe what she was witnessing. She stood there in shock for a moment, trying to grasp onto the situation. Was this real? Was she just seeing things? It couldn't be, she was a very stable pony, she couldn't be seeing things that weren't really there. 'Is it really him?' She thought, watching the stallion intently. As he got closer, she knew what she was seeing was real. "Steel?" Moon Beam asked quietly, hoping he would hear her silent call.
  20. Moon Beam was smiling, happy that Astrid was figuring things out on her own. She wasnt paying much attention to anything, but when she heard Steel ask about what was happening, she turned to him slowly, the smile still on her face. "Well, this is her prize for getting through the little hunt we sent her on. That orb teleported her to a world, one that is of her own creation. She can make it whatever she wants, and its a place she can escape to. When she arrived in the world, she was presented with three items, two of which were more orbs. However, the first item was a holy scythe that is linked to her powers, which she can only bring into the real world with your permission." Just then, she got the message from Astrid. She giggled, then gave Senia a look, and so she laughed. "And Astrid wants to know if she can." Moon Beam said, laughing again as she spoke. "But, the first orb is like, a shape shifter she can control. She can make it whatever she wants, with limits you set of course. And the second is her companion, which she is able to choose." Moon Beam finished. She looked at Senia, who simply nodded, then turned and flew off. She had told Senia that it was getting dark and that she should find a cloud for them.
  21. Once she looked up at Steel, Moon Beam saw the smile on his face. Her face lit up, and she was proud of herself. "Having fun, Steel?" She asked, giggling. Seeing him happy made her happy, yet she didnt know why. However, she didnt question it. Looking ahead, Moon saw the horizon. The sun was setting and turn in the sky a faded orange color. She sighed happily, loving the view. "Its getting kind of late. Im going to go find a place to camp out for the night." She said as she flipped over and began descending towards the ground. "Ill talk to you tomorrow?" Moon yelled back to Steel. She stopped before going into the treetops, then turned to wait for his reply.
  22. @TheDarkStar Tears running down her face, Moon Beam couldn't find anything to say. Not wanting Dark Star to see her tear stained face, she turned her head away from him and looked at the words on the wall. She stared for a long time, hoping that if she waited long enough, Dark Star would go away. However, she realized that she had a friend with her, not some random infected she was hiding from. Moon Beam turned her head, looking him in the eyes, not caring of he saw her like this anymore. She had a caring look on her face, with a wide smile spread across it. She giggled, then nuzzled her head into the side of his neck. "I understand. To be honest, I probably would've done the same. No matter how strong you try to stay in a time like this, it wont work. So your fears and your weaknesses can get to you. Its okay." Moon said, then pulled away, looking into his eyes. Her expression was soft and comforting. "But hey, we are here now. Lets just pick up where we left off. Best friends forever, right?" She said as she stood and walked over to his side, then nudged him with her hoof playfully. "Want to go on an adventure? For old times sake?"
  23. Moon Beam was impressed that Astrid was still waiting in the circle, seeming as how she was so young and curious. She had realized both Astrid's concentration, and the fact that she hadn't noticed the three of them. She smiled, then looked at Senia and nodded. Both mares opened their wings, spreading them wide. The two inside wings touched, and began to glow fuscia where they connected. The iris of Moon and Senia's eyes also began to glow the same color, very light at first and gradually becoming brighter and more fluorescent. Soon, a small ball of fuscia colored light appeared between the two ponies. Both of them looked at the ball and watched it float towards Astrid. It flew right in her path, an attempt to get her attention. Also, once she touched it, it would reveal her promised surprise. Once she touched the ball of light, she would be transported to a beautiful world made up of her imagination. It would hold her greatest wishes and biggest hopes. She could live her best dreams. However, it would also challenge her. This world will be meant for her to go to whenever she needs to escape, or train, or just for fun. Its a world all of her own. Also, as soon as she steps into this world, three items will be presented to her. One is a holy scythe, engraved with her name and a picture of her eye. The scythe is meant to strengthen her powers, and also be an extention of them. Whenever she uses the her powers as she holds the scythe, the eye will glow. This scythe will be able to travel into the real world with her only with Steel's permission. The second will appear as yet another ball of light. However, this one will be much smaller than the one she used to enter her world, and is used for something much different. This item is also linked to her powers, and she will be able to control and manipulate its shape and size. She can change it into virtually whatever she wants, with limits Steel permits. Lastly, the third item will be another ball of light, a bit larger than the second. This one, when she touches it, will open to a lost of different creatures that she could choose to be her companion. She will be able to choose one companion to stay with her, follow her, help her, protect her, and act as a friend and guide. This companion will also be linked to her powers so that they can communicate telepathically and such. The two mares stood there, watching and waiting. Once Astrid touched the ball of light, both her and the light would disappear, as it would follow her into the world. It would also follow her in both worlds as easy access when she wanted to get from one to the other.
  24. Moon Beam opened her eyes when they were only about two miles above the trees. She looked down, then at Steel, taking note of the cold expression on his face. She tilted her head a bit, but didnt question it. Not now at least. "Open your wings!" Moon Beam yelled as she simultaneously pushed Steel upwards and also opened her own wings. Now, the two ponies were flying, level to the ground below them, Moon Beam flying upside down and under Steel. She looked up at him, a wide smile printed on her face.
  25. "'Sorry' just won't cut it this time, Star." Moon Beam said, although she hugged him back. "I thought, you were different from everyone else.. I mean, I never really put much thought into this until now. Now, when I haven't seen you in... I cant even remember how long but.." she said, trailing off as she couldn't find anything more to say. She simply sat there, not wanting to let go of Dark Star, happy that she was there with him, sad because of the past they had. Moon Beam pulled away from him, looking into his eyes. She had always believed that a pony's eyes were the pathway to the soul. If they really were, then there was a lot that stallion could see that she didnt want anypony seeing. Thats why she rarely ever looked into another pony's eyes for long. But some were an exception. "Just, dont leave me like that again, okay? I mean, it cant be hard. We are both in the Feather Pub, so I bet we will see each other." Moon said, smiling at him and wiping away some of the tears in the corners of her eyes. Then she stopped, and looked at him with a confused yet determined look. "What happened to you anyway? I mean, we were both there, not even a few years into being in the Feather Pub. You seemed to.. disappear.." Moon Beam looked away, fearing both the answer to her question and the tears she felt welling up in her eyes. Her throat began to hurt as she fought the tears, and she could feel the heat spreading across her face and chest.
