  1. It seemed like you didn't have the opportunity for the necessary focus to get optimal results. Good luck with Twilight!

Yeah I've been reading the lead Pony Hypnosis document writer's notes. Although he claimed otherwise, they were extremely helpful. I'm now going to attempt to loop the track very quietly in the background while I do my normal computer stuff.

  2. I have done various hypnoses since then, but I don't think I have done Fluttershy since. I haven't done hypnosis in a while actually. Its a very time consuming hobby.

Yeah, just my short introduction took me over an hour. I also for some reason was not tired at all after doing it, since it took me forever to go to sleep. Humorously though, I fell asleep to Derpy's Lullaby.

I think if the Fluttershy doesn't work out so well after 3-4 tries I'll work on the Twilight Sparkle version since my personality is more in line with her anyways, even if she's not one of my favorites.

  3. Fluttershy is by far the best one. I've done lots of hypnosis, including most of the mlp ones in that thread. On my first try (fluttershy) I got most of the physical changes. Unfortunately, one time after doing the Fluttershy hypnosis, I went walking outside and saw a dead squirrel ;( I felt so sad...

    That sounds so terrible...

I'm guessing you haven't tried it since?

  4. Romeo and Juliet wasn't really THAT rushed...some parts were lengthy. I thought the story itself as sad and sweet, because Romeo thought his loved one died. Only if he waited a few more minutes....

But what baffled me was how you can love someone after a few hours of meeting each other...I mean what are they, naive middle schoolers? D:<

Ahem....I never read the book, but I know the feel on rushed endings. :(

That's the part where the vast majority of people misinterpret the story. All the events that befall the two are ways of the Bard displaying the punishments for naivete, hastiness, and shortsightedness of youth.

Most people see a tragic love story, where in reality, it's actually a bitter comedy lampooning how foolish the young can be when they think they feel "love."

  5. While I haven't read that story in ages, if I recall correctly, the story is very purposefully supposed to end shortly and curtly. It's sort of an allegory for the apotheosis of extraordinary persons being ended by the sometimes-forced "equality" of the modern age, and individuality being curtailed by the ever-encroaching levels of totalitarianism.

It's a very complicated story crammed into a very short burst of words, yes, but I think it's very interesting, especially considering that most of the other things Kurt Vonnegut wrote were less straightforward and more messy.
