Strings @@Windbreaker, Strings nods appreciatively and considers his words for a moment. "Very true... You may want to find a few others to form your 'order' then, a Noble Leader and a Healer are not quite a whole group now are they?" He then returns to his more relaxed and nonchalant manner. "I don't think that simple charisma would attract the kind of mare that you'd want to have around, charisma is good but you've got to like the pony not their charisma. I also doubt that i'd like to win over a mare with simple words, wouldn't be a very good relationship if she only liked how i spoke and didn't care for much else... and i'm just not really interested in dating." -

Strings @@Windbreaker, The guardsponies take the sudden appearance rather well, seemingly conditioned to react to surprises without much trouble, and only eye the armor approvingly. Strings on the other hoof smirks at the sudden and flashy appearance. "Isn't a knight more the type to fight for them? And isn't that what they'd prefer?... Regardless i think that its rather fitting myself, after all, whats a knight without his sword?" After pretending to think while his expression slowly returns to a roguish grin, Strings turns his head towards Gwyn and keeps his voice as an innocent question. "I said that your fur was extremely soft and that there are mares who would be simply green with envy from the mere sight of it, that is true. When you blushed you where simply adorable and i figured that i'd like to see more of that, that is true. I said that you shouldn't settle for an average stallion like me when there are so many younger and far more attractive ones who would line up to merely greet a beautiful young mare such as yourself, that is true. I said that your cute little blush complemented your colors quite nicely and really accented your natural beauty, that is true..... Was i kidding Lady Gwyn?" -

(OCC(Sorry about the response time guys... I was out for a while and apparently my phone dislikes the forums.)) Strings @@Windbreaker, Ice merely nodded at the two in response... though her posture shifted to a less tense one when they showed to be amiable. Strings however held his hoof up and spoke in a solemn and serious voice... but that broke into a grin about halfway through. "Indeed i will not continue to tease..... But that's ok cause i wasn't joking in the first place!" After returning his attention to business and waving over a couple of stallions who where towing a medium sized wagon. "Nothing official really. There is a mare who is smuggling armor to the militias, not usually as good as my armor and usually not including quality weaponry, but i have arranged so that we cross paths today... Such good ponies should not be forced to struggle alone in such dark times and i intend to offer her a hoof..... Might be a good idea wouldn't it?" Shady Stallion @, When the mare pushed him away most stallions would have taken the hint, this one though had a bit more arrogance than most and he moved back towards her. "Aww come on don't be so cold, i'm sure that i could make it worth your time..." A mare with a pair of stallions (The only other patrons at the time.) started to get up (Presumably to interfere.) but one of the stallions that she was with set his hoof on her shoulder and whispered something to her, she sat back down but was clearly displeased. -
1: It is in no way unfair as he could have started in a much better spot (Blaming it on Cinder is a very unreasonable conclusion.) for example: I would have said that a pony that i entered had survived the train wreck and ran from the elemental thing (Whatever that was.) but ended up in a different cave. When the massive light caused such chaos and destruction they would have been forced to seek shelter and would have wandered into the cabin, they'd be cold but nowhere near hypothermia level. And his condition is survivable and he wouldn't have frost clinging to his body till he was dead so just remove that and he would be able to survive from his poor starting place. I am not trying to kill him i am simply trying to correct something that is wrong. 2: Yes you did and at the rate that hes doing it not only would you be causing Ronin a massive amount of pain and suffering but you would outright kill him, i know exactly how fast that you can raise the temperature of a hypothermic individual and i can say from personal experience that hypothermia hurts like hell at even a slow recovery rate. It is a fantasy world of talking ponies and other mythological things but what your doing would kill a living being no matter how 'magical' it is. And for once i am speaking from a point of personal experience i know exactly how hypothermia feels because i've nearly died from it, and i know exactly how to cure it because i've had to help others recover from it. For once there is no margin for error in this statement. I'm not trying to kill Ronin, i am simply trying to correct something. (This may come off a little harsh but it is true and based in hard and irrefutable logic.)

Creepy Stallion @, (Keep in mind guys... this is probably going to be cliche and suck. (I really cant get into the mindset of people who go barhopping to try and pick up chicks... Especially ones this shady.)) One of the regular stallions at the bar took a liking to the newer mare so he'd moved a bit closer to her and threw his hoof around her shoulder in a companionable manner. He was clearly tipsy but not really impaired yet... but he also seemed a bit nervous and a few of the patrons had been eyeing him for a while. (Probably expecting him to pull something.) "Sooooo miss could i buy you a drink? Maybe help you put aside your worries for a couple hours?" He sounds friendly but his eyes and manner tell her what hes really after. -

Strings @@Windbreaker, Strings' only response to the poor blushing mare is to wink at her playfully before turning his attention to Noble. "It does complement her natural colors rather nicely doesn't it?... And don't worry about them understanding, they've already revived their overtime pay and a nice little bonus. Who your going to be paying is me, for the time that they should have been working... My friends often know when not ask questions, and when i'm giving out some small bonuses they tend to leave well enough alone." he then stops and sits next to a grey mare that seems to have been sitting there for some time. "Sooooo are our other acquaintances coming?" When she answers him her tone is monotone and bored. "Yes." Strings looks pleased with her answer and turns to Noble again. "It would appear that today was a very productive day indeed... Oh and this is Ice." -

Strings @@Windbreaker, After flashing an amused grin at Noble, Strings' tone changes to one that he would probably use use when discussing something unimportant and trivial. "Oh i don't mind one bit... I'm just going to have to charge you for their time. They did demand overtime for the few hours that they cannot remember, and i found their request to be perfectly reasonable... They did such good work after all." He then winks conspiratorially at Gwyn and his grin deepens. "Don't let my charm get to you Lady Gwyn, i'm sure that there are hundreds of much younger and handsomer stallions just waiting to sweep a dazzling young mare like you off your hooves. You don't have to settle for an average stallion like myself." -

Ice @@AnonBrony, @@Nomadic, Choosing to ignore Dorado's arrogance and dropping the (mistaken.) subject of poison altogether. Ice's expression and tone do not change in the slightest in the face Dorado's annoyance. "Some ponies assign actual value to their names and aren't as free with them as you seem to be... The proper term is co-workers actually and you do not need to know my name for us to work together, and if you do that's just to bad." -

Strings @@Windbreaker, Strings seems highly amused by the situation that he had created and his tone reflected it. "When two of ones employees take a little stroll off of their patrol route and cannot remember why, then it is wise to take a peak at the memories in question... One often finds interesting secrets." He then turns back to his previous roguish behavior and grins at Gwyn. "And if that little complement is all it takes to reduce you to such an adorable state then i may have to widen my arsenal of complements won't i?" -

Ice @@AnonBrony, @@Nomadic, Hielos starts to reply but shuts her mouth and loses her relaxed posture when Dorado approaches. She instead chooses to use an illusion spell to answer Monkshood (The illusive voice sounds amused at your awkwardness and a bit friendly.) a before replying to Dorado in a neutral monotone. (Only Monkshood can hear things in <"these">.) <"I'm not really the type to wander aimlessly and you may call me Ice, though i'd rather you not tell him that....."> "We're fine and while its not really any of your concern where getting the proper equipment for my friend here as hes a bit under-equipped for a northern journey. A piece of advise though Señor, its not a good idea to talk of poisons in a peaceful place like Equestria. Such a kind and non-violent place isn't fond of death or harm and talk of such unpleasant things often upsets the populace... I haven't mentioned it." -

Strings @@Windbreaker, Strings isn't put off by Gwyn's wolfish manner in the slightest instead he grins roguishly and his voice turns mischievous. "Why thank you, their one of the few things i have going for me. And if i may return your complement with one of my own, i must say that i've heard that your fur is wolfishly soft. There are mares out there that would pay through the nose to have a coat as soft and luxurious as yours." -

Strings @@Windbreaker, The guards follow Noble when he accompanies Strings, just far enough away to give him his privacy but close enough to rush to his aid should he need them. Strings contemplates your words for a moment before responding, and when he does he sounds fairly understanding but firm in his decision. "Oh i am quite aware that you are better with funds than i am and i plan to give you the finished paperwork to ensure that we get our bits out of it... Ice @@Nomadic, Ice, having woken up a bit earlier than usual in order to prepare breakfast and set it up so that it wouldn't be cold by the time Noble wakes up, was sitting near the entrance to the marketplace and waiting for the apothecary from yesterday. Shed gotten a large amount of funds so that she could buy quality supplies... Pointless to buy second best when you depend on your gear to keep you alive. Ironically the apothecary had stopped right next to her without noticing her, so when she spoke up she sounded faintly amused. Strings @@Windbreaker, Strings expression seems to lose focus, almost as if Noble's words opened new lines of thought to him, and after a moment he grins and sounds most pleased. "Well then i suppose that i shall have to expand my overheads... if your paying for the equipment then i can focus on salary and support costs, That should easily double the number of ponies that we can maintain per district. It used to be that i could barely support 2 squads but now i should be able to support 4 or even 5, that's 30 ponies if i can recruit that many..... Anyways its not a matter of tracking, its a matter of manners. One should not force a pony to do anything unless there is no other way." Strings then turns and starts off towards the next district. "Now can we talk along the way, i do not want to miss my scheduled time." The guards however do not follow Strings but instead follow Noble... Apparently they are Noble's guards not Strings'. The Earth pony guard that Gwyn is poking seems to be highly amused by her actions. In response he gestures towards his plate armor and speaks up in an amused drawl. "You do know that i cant feel that, right my Lady?" -

Strings @@Windbreaker, The ponies in question seem disgruntled by your response and one of them mumbles under his breath in a discontented way. "Where not here for pay..." Strings smiles sheepishly and his voice is kept carefully polite. "I was quite aware of that and it will be unnecessary to recruit him, i simply thought that i could get a better deal on the merchandise if i made my purchases through you... Less bits spent per item means more items that i can obtain. I imagine that idea appeals to you as well?" He then switches his expression and tone into a polite if serious manner. "Though i must advise that you don't get used to using that spell often. Not only is it bad practice and may change public opinion against you, but if it becomes common knowledge then it will be much harder to use on those that are aware of it."
