Troblems's post in Advanced Roleplay? was marked as the answer
@@AmberDust, Cinder is close, but not quite. Advanced roleplays are actually 800 characters. They are more detailed, and usually move slower, although not always.
Also, topic moved to appropriate area.

Troblems's post in Would I be allowed to post RP requests? was marked as the answer
@,
Moved your thread, since this seems more like a site question than anything else. Normally what people do when they have an idea for an RP, but either don't want to, or feel like they can run it is to ask for either someone else to run it, or co-run it with another member. Best way to do that is to post in the OOC section with the idea, and then ask for help. If other members are interested in helping run it, they will let you know.
As for a request thread, it seems like the idea is good in theory, however the thread would quickly become extremely messy, especially give how massive the RP section for the site is.

Troblems's post in A question on races. was marked as the answer
@,
I moved your post because this is a site question, as opposed to an out of character thread. The canon area is far more restricted than the non-canon area. The canon area, known as Equestrian Empire has a lot more rules, including which race you can play. We are currently working on expanding the number of races, however that may not make it in until the move to PonyRoleplay. If you would like to make a suggestion about a playable race, you can do so here.

Troblems's post in Why do you have to post 5 posts to be able to role-play? was marked as the answer
@@LinearPoison56, I moved your topic to the correct location.
There are several reasons why new members have to make 5 posts in order to post in the roleplay sections. First of which is so that you are able to get acquainted with the site and how it works. There are a lot of fun questions around the site, such as who is your favorite pony that you can answer to increase your post count. It appears you're already past that point. Another big one is that often when accounts are made for spamming, the roleplay sections are one of the first targeted.
There are sections of the site that you won't have access to until you have at least 40 posts. We're trying to cut down on trolls. Not implying that you yourself are one, but rather to make my job easier, which I am always grateful for.

Troblems's post in MLP RP vs Other RP was marked as the answer
@@Cypony,
First, hi there, welcome to the forums! You're out of the Blank Flanks, so you should have access to a larger part of the forums.
Right now we don't have a whole lot of tabletop type RPs. However, there is a new site by the Poniverse (which is the parent company, if you will, of Mlpforums) that will be completely RP oriented. We are looking to implement a dice roller and a few other features for the tabletop fans. The new site, called PonyRoleplay should be out by the end of the year, but hopefully a bit sooner than that.
As for how RP currently works, it's basically a story played out by several people. You can find the rules here.
I'd be happy to walk you through it a bit more in depth, if you are interested, you can simply PM me.

Troblems's post in A question about RP characters was marked as the answer
Hi Akemi Homura,
In the normal roleplay section, there aren't really any hard and fast rules on what kind of character you create. If you want to make a cross over character, go for it. Just keep in mind it is up to the discretion of the creator and runner of RPs if they want to accept that character or not.
