She said simply, staring off like a war veteran . Our little duckling was just about to open her mouth to stumble headfirst into millions of questions, Zoe's face went blank. Completely expressionless as she lifted up her bag, and peeked inside. " .....Quack." They lost a live Pokemon. Congratulations kids, your all screwed. Like... up the butt style. Amaya gave Zach a questioning look. " What could he possibly do to the little-....N..Nevermind." "U-uhm... M-maybe he wen't back to our room?!" She mumbled, biting her thumbnail." ...Maybe?"

She nodded dutifully after Zoe whispered in her ear. Stay close, got it! She turned back to look at Dusk, already planning on ahead to fight, fight fight. Amaya laughed nervously, resting her hand against her cheek as she did so. "He's certainly more.... Straightforward, isn't he?" She said, with a nervous, motherly 'what-will-be-will-be' sort of tone. "At least he won't get in trouble this way... But It would be better if he weren't so ready to fight, don't you think?" She added, echoing Zoe's thoughts as she glanced up towards her.She turned, and was about to call out to Dusk when Synthia sauntered by, shot a dazzling thumbs up, and sashayed right out of there. Oh....What a friendly girl... By the time she turned back to him, She gave Zoe the most incredibly serious face stare ever. Hers would be the one to pierce the Heavens. And while pointing at her in a very serious manner, she said, " don't you go falling for me now." * single anime sparkle* That was the way her father had taught her to break the ice in a tense moment. Hopefully her father wouldn't let her down. Except her serious facade cracked when Dik got his bandages caught and tripped. P-....PFT As soon as tears had sprung in the fluffy girly's eyes, Castform slipped from his girly's bag and ran off in no specific direction out of the food place and into the long rooms. He thought and thought and thought. What could a little pokemon like him do to cheer the crying girl up. No, crying was unacceptable. It meant someones heart was hurting. Hurting enough for them to show weakness. Or, you know they might have fallen down and gotten a scrape, and in that case he was taught a little 'feel better kiss' on the boo-boo made everything right as rain UvU! And Castform had been taught that under no circumstance should someone be left alone to cry. Never ever. His girly had done the right thing by soothing the fluffy girly's heart, and he was proud of her! He must have trained her well.( C-Castform you've only known Zoe for like 10 hours what are you saying that's unreasonable) But...what was something only he could do that could make someone smile.... *light bulb flashes on* Suddenly, with a cute little smile, he ducked through a doorway that had been propped open, and flew out into the courtyard, sky above.

Amaya closed her eyes as Zoe combed her fingers through her powdery white lockes. It was a very soothing gesture, that helped Amaya to start and calm down. She wiped away the last stray tear from her cheek, and gave a small, content sigh. She was wanted to tell Zoe, that even if it was just the tiniest bit, she was happy. She was happy that her friend has been so ready and willing to rescue her and to comfort her. And that she would do it again without a second thought. It made her happy to have someone, to have a friend like that. But all she could do was smile, and say, "Thank you, Zoe" , in that gentle voice of hers. At the moment, simple was better. Especially since big fusses made Amaya somewhat sleepy afterwards, and saying things while sleepy wasn't much her forte. At hearing Zoe's offer to use one of her special illusions over her, she finally took a moment to get a good look at herself. Peeking over Zoe's shoulder, she caught her reflection in a dark window. I look... like i participated in one of those gang fights I've seen on TV..And I lost! She closed her eyes with an embarrassed sigh, and accepted her foxy friends offer. When she opened her eyes again, she found that Dusk had come back to the land of the living, and was up and alert, much to her delight. So lively, in fact he already had the alertness to threaten Nik, before darting over to her and Zoe. Her favorite ghostly friend looked between a mix of Serious Gentleman and Kicked Puppy.... If it was even possible. She watched as he knelt and bowed in front of her, and her eyes widened with surprise. " Ah...! D-dusk, no you don't have to-" She said, stumbling over her words in embarrassment. Oh, he did have to do something so dramatic! Not knowing what to do, She reached down towards him, and rested her hand on his head, patting it comfortingly. Her ponytail flicked across the back of her neck, tickling it. " It wasn't you, I promise. " Amaya giggled quietly." Honestly sleepyhead, don't worry me by working yourself up like that. Don't you...?-" Her voice trail off for a moment before her face flushed from embarrassment. Didn't he know...no he didNT KNOW BECAUSE HE BLANKED OUT BEFORE IT HAPPENED. Before she could open her mouth to even barely squeak the words, Nik interrupted, explaining rather bluntly what had happened.She cupped her face in furious embarrassment. " Y-yes...That..."
