Hey it's ok. I don't mind. I don't see nickelodeon taking on my little pony however. They don't seem to be the channel to do that with the kind of shows they have.

I believe you're right on that; but what if Nickelodeon was more like it used to be (plus what today's and tomorrow's parents want of a kids' network)?

Just think how much sugar a Pinkie Pie cereal would have. Kids be like:

 

"Dan Vs." would have done it better; and I think we Broneis should pay more attention to that, rather than overrated shows like "Family Guy".

You've probably have eaten a wide variety of breakfast cereals in your childhood (hoprefully not too much, at least not without a good protein source and fruit on the side), but how would you like to buy "My Little Pony" beanded cereal for your kids (or little sister, brother, niece, nephew, or and/or second cousin)?

Perhaps it would be Pony shaped cereal with Cutie Mark shaped "marshmellows".

It would be a part of a well balanced breakfast, and a wonderful way start the day with the Magic of Friendship.

Aside form "The Hub Network", I'd prefer to see MLP:FiM on PBS (it's not too late for seasons 2-4 to earn E/I accreditation) or Nickelodeon; and the other shows would be better on Nickelodeon as well.

I'd be cool with it. I mean I only watch about two other shows on the HUB and since cartoon network is one of my favorite channels then that would be great.

While I did watch Cartoon Network occasionally (I remember me and my sister tuning in every Friday night to watch PPGs when new episodes were coming out); I used to only want to watch Nickelodeon (almost all Nick all the time) and home videos (as early as age 3, I would put on a couple of videos a day, including videos from our video camera).

I'd say PPG and Dexter's lab were what I was most interested in before the 2000's. My mom also liked Samuri Jack (although I never found much interest in that show)

It really is too bad CN became what I consider 'an adult swim targeted at children'; and I can assure you that "Adventure Time" would have been much better had Nickelodeon picked it up when they had the chance.

Of course I do (although I haven't been able to watch The Hub Network on a regular basis since moving out and not being able to get a cable TV package yet).

Before i discovered MLP:FiM, I loved watching Doogie Howser M.D. (that was my favorite), classic Batman, Meerkat Manor, and Fraggle Rock (which might have been the first thing I watched when I first discovered The Hub Network). Remember "Jump The Shark Week", those were good times.

I also think "Strawberry Short Cake" is a great show to watch with your children, the humor is "Pound Puppies" is priceless, I found "Littlest Pet Shop" interesting even though I didn't watch it often, and Dan Vs. turned out to be the first "adult show" I actually liked.

"The Hub Network" made come alive again the kind fo television we really want to see that other channels such as Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and CN have just abandoned.

Based on this recent topic (http://mlpforums.com/topic/91992-jan-animations-shut-down-by-hasbrocd), many of you want to see much of JanAnimations' work in the field of "Pony-dom" again.

How do you know Princess Luna was at her throne in the opening title? A throne could have been made for her in her very own room.

Probably not, but she'd be on 3 legs in a game of kick ball, not 2.

 

I'm just saying that the Applejack seems to be pretty balanced, and assuming it'd be similar for the others.

These Ponies might be like you and me, but Lauren Faust wanted them to be as close to real Ponies as possible (and I beleive that would also include what would happen when trying to walk on 3 legs).

And, show me one scene where a Pony is using her Hoof for "Hand Motions" while walking at the same time.

I don't know; have you seen a Horse walking on only 3 legs without falling? I haven't seen a horse walk with 3 legs at all; I don't know if it would fall though.

Yes, it only takes one leg; but try getting on all fours and "kicking" a ball with one of your arms while using your other arm and legs to keep you moving without falling down. Not so easy is it.

I recently had a thought: Could Ponies play Kick-Ball?

Many of you likely remember playing Kick Ball in elementary school: It's basically the same as baseball, instead the ball is a larger kickable ball that is rolled to you (instead of pitched), and you kick it while running toward it (instead hitting it with a bat).

While I can imagine Ponies kicking a ball while standing in place, I can also imagine a Pony tripping and falling while trying to kick a ball while running toward it.

Perhaps they'd have their own Pony version of the sport, "Buck-Ball". I could see Applejack bucking a ball so hard that it would fly over cloudsdale.

Well, as much as I like these independent MLP works of art, and while I do believe in adn promote the right of "fair use", we do have to understand that MLP and respective characters, props and images are the property of Hasbro, and anything Hasbro's stockholders (owners) want to do with their characters that that applicable law says they can do will be done.

I'm not saying we independent artists shouldn't turn to MLP for inspiration (in fact, I hope they continue to do so for years to come); but I think this should be a lession to all these independent artists that we should try to work with Hasbro (rather than keeping them out) when turning to MLP for inspiration in our works and projects (and "fair use" alone isn't enough to let us do everything we have planed). Yes, Hasbro will very likely ask for money in return, and yes they'll likely place limits of what we can do with their IP; but let's at least try to work with Hasbro and come to a reasonable and friendly agreement. Perhaps we can make a presentation and arrange to show it at Hasbro's next stockholder's meeting. We can fund our future works and projects using Kickstarter and indiegogo, or we can even try to receive funding from certain foundations.

I do like "Picture Perfect Pony", and I do hope something can be worked out in which the video can be shown again.

I'd also like to get myself one of these ties, and I'm certain a few select employes of Hasbro (and perhaps at least a couple of their stockholders) might want some of these as well: http://www.mylittleties.com/

Besides I don't think MLP is that popular with kids. Adventure Time, Sponge Bob (which should be kicked off the list for being on there for to long), Phineas and Ferb, and TMNT are just more popular with kids then MLP. That's just what I think.

I can understand your view on SpongeBob, TMNT and Phineas and Ferb; but Adventure Time? Many kids might know about Adventure Time, but I'd say parents would want to keep their kids away from that show; I know I would if I had kids.

I'd also say you should have more hope that MLP:FiM can work on today's Tweens and Pre-teens.

Well let's see; I'd make the world a better place with a team of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Ludwig von Drake, Velma Dinkley, Tommy Pickles, Mario, and "Josie and the Pussycats".

I for one would sign that petition if someone made it. I was literally checking to see if MLP was in the KCA just a few days ago. I'm not saying the KCA actually matters but it would be cool to get MLP more recognition. (Plus that fact that winning would be inevitable with all the fans that will spam vote lol)

Now that's the Brony spirit I like to see.

Uh, I like adventure time and pokemon! So like yeah so my little pony didn't make it. But seriously there was a time when I though pokemon was better.

I also like Pokemon, and I'm perfectly ok with you liking Adventure Time.

It's all over the Internet, sure, but the licensing deals that are there for something like Adventure Time or SpongeBob just aren't there, and how often do you see ponies outside of the Internet? Probably not as often as you'll hear someone quoting SpongeBob, openly talking about Adventure Time, or even wearing a Sesame Street shirt, a lot of that has to do with the social stigmas.

I personally think that it's more Brony-like to talk about the possible rather than the impossible. I also personally think you've got to check out to MoveOn.org and The Occupy Movement.
