Break took a sip of his orange juice using his magic, only to look over and find Saronyx, his neighbor, had apparently brought someone new into town.  Saronyx, to Break, was a strange pony.  The feeling Break would get from this particular pony was just this overwhelming positive energy, but at the same time, under it all was a strange dark feeling.  Unfortunately, no matter how hard Break tried to dig, that dark feeling has yet to be uncovered.  Was it a bad secret?  Break found himself completely unaware of what exactly this feeling was pointing to.  It frustrated him from time whenever he would see Saronyx.  It goes without saying, he didn't want to be rude and just outright ask him about it.  Although, that didn't stop Break from circumventing his methods and attempting to get Saron to spill the secret on his own.

The Truth Seeker made a nice trot over to his fellow neighbor for a greeting, "Hey Saronyx.  ...Who's this lovely lady?"  He found a fondness with this pony's coloration.

Just then, when he took a look at this new pony, something seemed very off.  A deep rooted unsettled feeling was about her, to Break.  Of course, he's the only one that would notice considering his natural talent.  This would be the first clue that something was amiss about this mare.  Actually, the more Break stared at her, the more he wanted to know the truth behind this feeling he was getting.

Unconsciously, he gave the mare an icy stare as he was lost in deep thought, and completely ignored his neighbor at this point.

  2. Break tried not to make an expression at this pony's very accurate read of what he was feeling.  Of course, this could have been just an educated guess based on his demeanor and speech.  How...  Perceptive this fellow Pony was.  It was at this moment Break pulled a small smirk upon his face.

The Pony then asked for Break to pick a card.  "Well, of course."  There was a bit of irony in his tone.  He chose a card closest to him, for fun.

"Sure."  Break tried to sound as matter of fact as possible.  He tried to hide the fact that this pony guessed what he thought of this faker.  There was no way he could predict the future... It just wasn't possible- unless it was his natural talent which did not seem to be the case.  Break stared at the pony with the cards in his hand, and nobody else.  He was determined to get to the bottom of all this, even though it would be extremely trivial to anyone else.  "What about the emperor card?"  Break gave the pony a determined glare.

  4. Having his final baggage shipped to his new house in ponyville, Break stepped off the train, and took a deep breath of fresh air.  It was a different feeling this place.  There seemed to be a lot less hidden secrets around... which meant there were definitely a lack of liars around here- so far anyway.  He produced an approving smile as he made his way down the--

His smile faded as someone a little off the platform started to yell something about the future, and predicting it.  It made Break's skin crawl.  How impossible it was to accurately predict someone's future.  There was most certainly a catch to it.  He made a quick trot towards the pony making these very insane allegations.  There appeared to be other ponies drawn to this "trustworthy" pony.

I know he's lying... I can feel it. He thought to himself.  But I shouldn't be too quick to make a scene of him though.

  5. Today was like any other day for Break Shimmerald.  He got out of bed, got dressed, and quickly headed out the door to go and find something to do.  Having just moved from Canterlot to Ponyville, he took refuge in one of its inns until he could find a permanent place of residence.  Nothing was out of the ordinary as he sat in one of the chairs in the main lobby of the inn.  He started to eat some of his breakfast, and read some of the Ponyville express while ponies came in and out of the Inn in a simple fashion.  Every so often he would look up from his newspaper because of a familiar feeling of a liar in the room.  It was completely natural for him to feel this way, however, due to his talent.

The liars... they're everywhere today.  He thought to himself, begrudgingly.

  6. Trixie....  You  could've seen Twilight's fakeness but you were just so greedy with power...  Oh well.  the Great and Powerfull Trrrrixie must move on, right?

I do wonder if we will ever see her truly happy.

Also love how Pinkie just gets cut off at the end.  Classic.

  7. I loved how Pinkie actually got legitimately upset over having this many of herself.  She realized her mistake, and it's just a great episode.  One thing that bothered me was that it was painfully obvious who the real pinkie was, and yet they still had her go through the test to prove herself vs the other pinkies.

Do you know how dark this episode would have been if the real pinkie failed the test of watching paint dry!?  Oh my gosh...

  8. I watched the Phoenix Wright MLP crossover "Turnabout Storm", and I became curious to the show.

and then I watched some of the episodes.

It just... clicked, and I suddenly was like "Oh goodness...this  show.  Above average."

And then Derpy Hooves Happened.  Instant Less Than Three.
