I have a couple hundred thousand people didn't have power. The Silverdale mall lost power as I approached the entrance, and all of the traffic lights just flashed. It took an hour to get home when it usually takes 15 minutes.

What did you end up doing to pass the time? There are other things besides ponies...like...friends? well i was snowed in so it was cabin fever for 2 days... The cabin I go to in snoqualmie pass has no internet, no phone service and very few neighbors. You have to ski to get to it but if your car gets snowed over at the road you can be stuck for days and days. All I have there is UNO.

Very true. There's one that has to do with a great voyage but it's worded so that you can't really put pony at the end but makes perfect sense in the middle.

We got a bit of snow and everyone overreacted, 6 day weekend for me in a couple inches of soft snow.

My friend came to me and said "Two of my team members are bronies and they insist we put pony related things in our mod" and I asked "what are bronies?". He then went on to describe the weird people who watch My Little Pony, and to avoid judging them I tested the first couple episodes and didn't like them at all. I later discovered that one of my friends was a brony and he insisted I watch beyond those episodes into deeper into the season. I watched most of season one by the next day and have been hooked ever since.

That makes more sense. I have had to do some setups when I only had 5 minutes and no test runs, and as you would expect they were very rough. I've since gotten to know the board very well and it'd be easier to do a fast setup now. It's a Mackie SR24*4 VLZ pro, late 1990s build. It takes mono phono, rca and xlr; has preamps, phantom power source, 8 way EQ and is relatively easy to understand. I am reminded, assuming I attend I might be able to bring a 20 channel soundboard/mixer/whatever you want to call it. It would make it very easy to avoid what happened an BroNYCon during the Daniel Ingram skype session or make music setup more efficient. If such a thing were needed, that is.

Here on the Kitsap peninsula it's just raining. It snowed an inch at about 10 this morning but it melted by noon :/
