So yeah SquareEnix have decided to chuck out yet another smartphone port of the old ff titles, only this time it happens to be my favourite. Naturally it goes as far as your run-of-the-mill port tends to go what with a slightly tweaked translation and slight graphical "enhancements", now I am DEEPLY opposed to changing just about anything in ff6 and at this point I can't say i care for what they've done as far as visuals go but I'm interested to hear what anyone else thinks about this to try and determine if it's our standards that have gone down or if it's Squares. As a massive long time fan of ff titles I don't really mind what anyone has to say about any of them or whether or not they think things are looking as good as they could be these days but I digress, bottom line; i'm keen to hear from any fellow fans of mine!

Nope, can't say i've ever had any motivation to do anything. I have no discernible skills or talent whatsoever and have never truly strived to better myself outside of simply being a good human being, i guess i've just been living my life a little too comfortably up to now to care... I wonder if that's a bad thing? :|

I have to agree to some degree, just look at those god awful Resident Evil films they churn out every year XD

None really, games are best as interactive experiences and I tend to ignore most TV/Movie offshoots of them.

Then again, there are some game designers like Kojima who could probably make a pretty cool movie, or like David Cage who would probably be better off just making movies.

I like the idea of this but i've a feeling that the reality of it is that everyone will just like the IDEA of it and won't do as much to contribute to the realisation of this guys dream (call me cynical if you will)... That massively over-popular Ben Drowned was the first one I watched/ read about and really the only one that I enjoyed, probably because I used to have nightmares of Majoras Mask constantly as a kid, after that though i just lost interest altogether.
