  1. I don't believe my childhood ever "died", it just evolved as I gotten older.

To explain why I think this, I will tell you a story about a racing game that was released in the US in 1998. That game was Gran Turismo. I was 7 at the time. My mind slowly began to swirl around motorsport and cars. As the series progressed throughout the years, so did I. As the series evolvolved, my needs for hardware also changed. I only just recently (December of last year) when I finally was able to buy a racing wheel, a Thrustmaster T500RS. I have since then switched to a Fanatec Clubsport Wheel and pedal set and a proper cockpit setup and I love that more.

I never really had any interests in other types of games until about 9 years ago when I decided to branch out into other genres, mainly FPSs (because gun = fun). But racing games had always been at the forefront of what I wanted to play. But I always did stick with GT. Even at the age of 23, I still am as much of a fan as I was playing a demo of the game in 1997 on the PS1.

Actually, no, fuck that, My childhood died when Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy ended. I hate that it's gone, but we all have to move on at some point.

However, I think Cartoon Network would make a killing if it was brought back, or at least a show in the same style.

  2. I don't think spiders are evil, I just don't care to have them near me. I live in Tennessee, so I get to see a scary-ass Brown Recluse spider every once in a while.

Spiders would be better if their lives were narrated.

  3. The best way to know when you're eating too many Pringles is when they become harder to pull out of the can. To which you just say "fuck it" and turn it upside down and attempt to pour them down your throat like the fatass you are.  :P

  4. Pretty annoyed from the site running so slow today. That could be a technical issue, or it could be caused by today.

On the other hand, I am very excited about the upcoming update for Gran Turismo 6 (for those of you who care) which will come within the next 2 days. My insider friend (who will remain anonymous) has informed me that it is packed full of new content, major fixes, and a few things that PD has been working on.

For a taster, Seattle Circuit and the new Mustang GT. Enjoy.  ;)

  5. Nothing at the moment, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new update for Gran Turismo 6. According to a friend of mine who works for Polyphony Digital (He does car and sound modeling), he has told us (our circle of friends) that v1.12 is going to be massive.

He has also warned us about a potentially huge download and installation time, which is an estimated 90 minutes on a ggod connection.

    My body is ready.
