Sigma sprinted past several ponies as he quickly covered ground on the track. He was never good in sports due to his timid nature towards anything physical, but for some reason, he never found galloping a problem. It usually didn't take long for the unicorn to lose his breath, but he would probably at least be close to the end of the track before that happened. Even as he was passing ponies left and right, he was still thinking about what he had just read.
"Hmm, maybe I can create a version of mathematical induction that can be used to set rules for some things other than the natural numbers, like multiples of two or reciprocals of the natural num-" *Smack* "Aah!"
Sigma, distracted by his mathematics, slammed hard in to Skylar and hit the ground even harder. "Ow, I think I scrapped my shoulder..." Sigma said out loud as he touched the top of his left foreleg and felt a sting. His head also ached a bit; he hoped he didn't get a concussion.
