  1. Addicted to Steven Universe. Just finished season 1. Wow this show is good...and that finale was freaking intense!! Overall it's not quite as good as MLP but it's def high quality.

My girlfriend's cousin seemed to hook me on that show last week while I finally had a chance to go out and see my girlfriend and the rest of her family. I'll totally have to continue to check it out past the first three episodes myself.

Guessing you're Mickey Mouse then?

I get paid basically to Google things. :yay:

No literally, that's literally my job, and I've been doing it for just over a year now.

@Goten It's no worries. Though his response may read a bit detached empathically, I understand Kyo's acknowledging what I said in a form of which addresses the tragedy of the topic in a respectful reciprocal manner.

      You too huh?

I get that...... We had to take mom to Hospice again tonight and by the time I walked out of her room she was hooked up to a Morphine IV and in a relatively vegetative state.

Since we got home I've been doing what I can to just chill while mindlessly drowing myself in my work for a while to get my mind off things. I find doing something like this can really help to deal with feelings of being scattered or grieving or sorrowful.

  6. The air conditioning broke...yipee. I'm sitting in front of a fan as I type this.

  7. Well, wasn't able to get my meds refilled. Shocking. Pharmacy was closed because pharmacies suck. I did however get some good food stuffs. :3

Was probably a result of the massive cyber attack that's been going on. Placed are getting totally rooked by ransomware all over, deleting patient records and all sorts of other computerized complications. Otherwise, I wouldn't see why a pharmacy would be closed on a Saturday.

  10. Got Cities Skylines on Xbox One last night. It is fun, but managing the money is stressful. :| Funssful. Strun. Strefussnul. Yeah.

Granted, of course, remember life's not all about making money, and all things considered politically, we're probably going to be seeing a massive currency reset at some point soon, especially since Obama decided to sweep that one under the rug back in 2013.  But I mean, you've got extremely good odds playing the system till you can make it work for you rather than you working for it. In a sense I mean. :twi:

See, the way I see money is relatively simple. Don't spend money on things you don't need. And save up for something, and spend only on necessities and things that will yield a high return on investment in regard to helping to build and multiply the money with which one has to work with. From that point forward, it will simply continue to accumulate to the point where you can create a highly assistive, creative business model, or a few if you're that ambitious, and by that point, the money-making and managing process is relatively entirely hooves-off, and one can continue to go about pursuing their dreams in which one hopefully can make a supplementary and highly satisfying living off in addition to everything else.

      - So in short, don't spend on things you don't need.
      - Reward yourself, on occasion.
      - Prioritize the distribution of spending money on the most necessary and important items and resources.
      - Use your money to make it make you more money, from which you simply have more to work with from the collective pool.
      - Oh yeah, and the big one that helped me as well, save coupons for things you'll be purchasing on a regular basis, such as food items and whatnot? It may only seem like 50 or 60 cents here and there, but in the long run, you'll start to notice the change after about a few months' time.

I guess I don't really understand why so many seem to have money issues. I mean heck... My parents are both disease-ridden, I only now and up to this point really have only had part-time jobs, and I'm still managing quite well for myself at the moment. << Then again, I'm also ahead of like 99% of the people who aren't even trying by this point in actually working on building some businesses and such myself.

Either way, just remember those tips above. ^^ They're what've been getting me through up to this point, and heck, I'm only 20. x3

And then there's managing "real" money. That's only really stressful initially anyway.

  13. So I ordered 2 pizzas and walked uptown to get them. On my way back, massive downpour of rain. That sucked, a lot. The pizzas are fine though, so, that is good.

I was out getting groceries and some oil for a string trimmer and mom fell from her bed and sprained both ankles now... On top of everything else. :(

  14. Two new episodes in one weekend is a bit too overkill for me.

  15. I am back from my first ever Pokemon Go walk. Was pretty cool, I caught a Ditto on my first trek. :3 Now my legs are tired, but it feels good. :D

  16. I like my new phone a lot, but there is something about Android phones that now bothers the hell out of me; You cannot install apps to the SD card directly. I cannot figure out for the life of me why you cannot do this. Windows phones, for example, will let you install everything to an SD card the moment you install one. Yet Android phones almost make SD cards useless in the grand scheme of things.

      @Kyoshi That's certainly strange... :huh:

I do believe I recall having a similar problem myself at one point... << I think my solution was simply to hook it up to my computer and move stuff around in file explorer... But I mean, I shortly after had to upgrade anyway, 'cause I needed a particular type of phone for work anyway that would support a particular ASIX chipset. I do believe that pretty much solved the issue for me as well, as of upgrading this problem doesn't seem to occur much anymore.

Then again, I went from Samsung to Motorola, so it could just be a Samsung & TouchWiz issue then.

If you go to your data storage settings you should be able to select any app and easily just transfer it directly to your SD card.

If you quit out of that page before it actually finishes moving, it won't move it over.

  21. Tomorrow is season 7. Can't say I have been all that hyped but perhaps my tone will change when it premieres. I think it is just the premiere that I am not hyped for.

  22. ... Skype just deleted itself from my pc... and i can't even install it back, because Windows Installer is corrupted. That's it, i am throwing this pc into the trash

    1. inactive_user

      inactive_user

You could check the Windows Registry if it's something like a corrupted installer entry or something.

I would just google like "Skype auto-deletion" and "Windows Installer Corruption" and see what pops up.

All computers function purely logically, and typically most errors are on the user-end, rather than the computer itself. There are cases this is not the case, but most often it is user error.

      Hope this helps. :twi:
