  1. Just to chime in my observations and thoughts on the matter real quick...

Anypony know those new images and the news about Pluto that NASA has released? NASA also went to say that they found Methane gas on the planet, and considering that one of the main known things that can produce Methane gas is the exertion of biological life energy, that is a real strong hint that there is a high possibility of some kind of life existing at least on just Pluto alone, that's just in our galaxy too, and there likely is tons of other life out there in other galaxies as well that we'll not even so much as fathom for another couple hundred years or so probably... I say a couple hundred years being a sole estimate based on the technological advancement rate currently alone.

  2. Week 1 of Pony Hiatus Report...... I've survived, for now... But slowly, more and more, I feel I will not survive this whole hiatus period... I can already feel the moderate effects of pony withdrawal scouring hairs of my fur and the tips of my hooves... It won't be long before this withdrawal completely overtakes me entirely. To anypony reading this, I wish you luck in surviving this tragedy, and please, for your own safety, the further into this hiatus we go, please, remain farther and farther away from me... I don't want to hurt anypony after the withdrawal effects have completely exhumed any and all equine being from my sole existence... Should you encounter me post-mortem I leave all that I have to you, my fellow humble brony friends and acquaintances......... Buuuuuuuuuuut my Fluttershy and Applejack plushies in particular are reserved for AppleGearRising. :fluttershy::P

Week 1 Pony Hiatus Report, concluded. Godspeed everypony.

  3. I guess I would kinda consider myself as a radical superfan of sorts. :fluttershy: Though I don't try to be that "stereotypical" and spout off to everyone about my love for the ponies......... Usually... -3-

I would also probably say I'm a content creator (kinda) on the side... I mean, I do art and drawings of ponies and all...

  4. Speaking as someone who IS certain which way their extension cords run, I will say this to you uncertain souls:

Your sexuality is your choice; no one else's.

Your parents can try to teach you about choices, they can heavily advocate choices, they can even make you feel differently about those choices... but they CANNOT choose for you.

Your religious superior can try to offer advice about your choices, they can help you fine-tune how you want to make those choices... but they CANNOT choose for you.

Your friends can speak earnestly about their own choices, they can try to help you come to terms with whatever choice you make... but they CANNOT choose for you.

I am straight - and I have been through a lot of strange things before I settled on that.  Still, I made that choice, and I am happy to say that I like my choice.  Do I advocate my choice?  Not really - I merely advocate finding a choice YOU are happy with.

Get in touch with yourself.  Get to know the bundle of thoughts & ideas that is YOU.  Pick your own brain.  Find where you're comfortable making a stand... then make one.  Experimenting can be fun, but make certain YOU know when the experiment is over & you've drawn the conclusion you want.  But it doesn't have to be today.

Whomever you wish to pursue romantically is YOUR choice; don't be overeager to please anyone else on this matter.  Straight, gay, bi... it's up to you.

Pursue your heart's desire - and be PROUD of your choices; they're what make you who you are.

    Excelsior, my pony friends!

I think I understand what you are trying to get at here, and I say you are right in that no one can determine oneself other than that person themselves individually in all honesty... However I would want to question your use of the word of "choice" there... As honestly, it seems that really sexuality is less so of a "choice" really and more of a thing you simply discover through time if you happen to be unsure... Considering that, even with the new law in place in America, I don't see why people would willingly "choose" to be a part of a demographic that is widely received with much hatred and bigotry from those opposing the idea. To say sexual orientation in and of itself is a "choice" is kind of a touchy way to put it is basically what I am trying to get at here.

  5. Honestly, and wow I feel weird posting this publicly... .-. But, I've always pretty much been scared my whole life into 'only being straight' basically and that 'everything else is a sin' and all that, of which I personally have come to realize that for a lot of personal reasons, I no longer wanted to eat that crap that was being fed to me about that...... I think ever since about 5th grade, I kinda got a feeling that I may very well have been more or less homosexual, but I never really gave the idea much thought, being that at the time I was so afraid to really be independent and true with my emotions to any of my 'parental figures' at all...... Of course I'd talk about stuff like that very sparingly periodically with some good friends, more so now than ever, but... I never really gave thought to myself back then that I might actually not be totally "straight"... I'm only now really feeling more certain that I'm likely homosexual, being that I never really had found girls too attractive at all through school and all, but I seemed to get some interesting thoughts about a few of the male friends I'd had made along the way in school... Though of course I never acted on those or told any of these friends about that...... Especially after that one day where I ended up being indirectly ostracized for even so much as hinting at the idea that I may have 'liked' a guy friend...

So I suppose that's my story. :fluttershy:

  6. Heh... A better question would probably be, have I ever NOT cried during an episode... I don't know why, but usually around the climax of each episode I'm either crying tears of sadness or joy, depending on the context of the events that happened in the episode...... Like during the royal wedding episodes, at the point where the song "This Day Aria" was being sung, I remember I cried a lot at that, and as well again during the end when "Love Is In Bloom" was being sung. :fluttershy:

  7. Hmmm...... Probably the last one for me was waking up at 3:30 in the morning after only getting 5 hours of sleep and typing away here on the forums just 'cause I don't know what else to do. I mean, I love the forums of course, don't get me wrong, but I probably shouldn't be neglecting sleep... .-.

  8. Seems like my situation is a bit similar to OP's. I guess as far as letting my emotions out though... I usually only did so once in a very great while... I never really liked to do so, and if I did, I did it in private, alone... Now I seem to do so a bit more frequently, as well as with my parents, at least to a tiny degree anyway... I still let most of my emotions out when I'm alone only. And often times now I'll actually talk a little about some of my problems with my friends and all, though the two I have in real life that I talk to about that with are soon going to become one primarily for a while, as another is moving away for college. .-.

  9. Let's just say, I find it so relatable to the point where I essentially was living (and still kind of am for the most part) Moon Dancer's little life kinda... Just replace the "studying" aspect with video games..... Now instead of video games it's more along the lines of drawing and art practice, but for the most part... Yeah, I can very easily relate, considering that's been most of my life really. :fluttershy:

  10.

Yea, I noticed. I just listened to Autumn (Derpy Hooves) and love it, I think I may have a good collection of songs now. I really appreciate the suggestion :D so Thank you

PS I love the fluttershy picture :)

    Nice. :yay:

hehe... Thank you by the way. :fluttershy: You probably already guessed it, but I really like Fluttershy a lot. :3 The avatar here was made by Kyoshi by the way.

  11. Just by the way... But just about all of Griffin Village's brony songs, at least the one's I've heard so far, which is like half of them, are all pretty laid back, slow and "chill"-ish, so yeah. :fluttershy:

  12. Let's see now... I suppose I'll begin with the ones I've had for a long time...
I've had a Pooh Bear plushie that I've hung onto all these years that I got the moment I got home from the hospital after I was born. I loved that little guy so much... And I...... Also may have ended up ripping him and dirtying him up a little bit in my infancy... But I still have him around and I still kinda cuddle him a bit before bed each night. :3 He used to be the only plushie I really cuddled up with like that, and the rest kinda just were there for me to play with too... But now after my parents saw how roughed up that one was, they got me another one actually, brand new and all, but I still really just loved the old one I'd had all that time... So now I've got him as a bit of a keepsake...

Time went on, and I managed to get this giant Spongebob Squarepants pillow/plushie thingy for my seventh birthday... I got a huge pug plushie from the time me and my Uncle went to Dave & Busters... I got a yellow crayon guy plushie from the time I visited the Crayola factory on a school trip... And there was a time I ended up obsessing over all sorts of Mario universe characters and ended up getting plushies of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Donkey Kong, and so on.

And now of course, most recently.... I've obtained some of my now most cherished plushies ever, I got a little Fluttershy plushie, then another one of the same kind for Rainbow Dash, and then I actually was given another Fluttershy plushie as a gift, from a very special friend. ^3^ I also have another larger Rainbow Dash plushie as well as a Rarity one of the same type there, then I have two really big plushies that are about 20" tall of Fluttershy and Princess Twilight Sparkle. :squee: So that's about 7 pony plushies now in total......... I NEED MOARZZZZEASSSAS!!!

Hehe... No, but really, I wanna try to get all the 20" ones of the mane 6 at least... Anything past there will still be greatly loved and cherished of course, but I guess at the moment I'm just out to get all the mane 6 as I can. I may be able to get one of Applejack or Pinkie Pie tomorrow actually. :fluttershy:

  13. Considering it's insanely rare for me to even leave my house unless accompanied by either a friend that wants to hang out for a bit or a parent or somerthing... I really haven't ever actually been to the movies alone... But I trust it would be the most anxiety-wracking thing ever for me to be alone in public like that... I'd probably start freaking out.

  14. Well let's see... If I'm just singing and not really doing something serious, and am only just either by myself or with some REALLY good friends, and even then it's hard for me to do so sometimes, then I mean... I'll sing a tiny bit then, but... If I'm in front of any more than like 2 or 3 really good friends or people I know and trust well... Anything else though, nope... Nope nope nope, just sooooo much nope.

  15. This local store by me sells them, not sure where else would, but I'm sure somewhere would, but they are Ty brand plushies and they are the Ty Sparkle lineup, those are about $25 a pony, and they are usually pretty well-made as far as show accuracy. :fluttershy: Also they're about twenty inches tall too. :3
