I hate that about people. . .

In general, I seemed to be ignored a lot on the forums for any posts containing anything art-wise.

What about us? The little creative writers of fanfics and such don't get any recognition? Seriously?

I agree too, I tried to make a blog for my writing; no one seemed to care.

I know the feeling but really it makes sense my work was not that good anyway.

Or that, yeah, I think that can also be why.

Unless you do something with those other talents in a pony way, of course you won't be as recognized 

I agree, I posted songs I have made on here, but they aren't pony related, so they received little to no attention. 

I was working on a dystopia-based Fimfic (I gave up on it due to lack of feed back, anyway) there were police ponies called the Order Ponies. 

I like them a lot and their style, it gives the Cirque an eerie feeling I enjoy.

I have 3 other OC's that are part of the circus that the artist might draw as well.

The other ponies are

Not saying that mixing loops is not music. I believe that loops are "idea starters" that help someone to form the draft. I was classically raised so...I guess my classical nazi got in the mix of things...hehe...puns.  

I play the piano, bass, vibraphone, and some guitar too. And I use a mix of midi recorded stuff I play, a long with sampling,

Actually the only samples used were for the drums, the rest was made with midi and VST's and I do not believe that your above statement is true. When you say that, you are saying that Daft Punk doesn't make music; a lot of dubstep (which is a GENRE of music, that might be a shock to you) utilizes a lot of samples and loops. Basically when you say that tracks using only samples and loops, you are insulting A LOT of musicians. Trying to define what real music is, an art tagged with such a loose definition, is absurd. What you are saying is like saying a collage isn't real art because the artist pulled different pieces of imagery from various sources (or one source) and put them together in such a way to create something of his/her own.

Music, being an art, can be defined as anything from banging on pots and pans to singing to playing an instrument. Any sound made can be considered music. Mixing loops and samples together IS music. It is like what a collage is to the visual artist. What you are saying is that for something to be considered real music it must fall under some certain guideline(s). The definition I quoted above says that art is "the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination". When someone creates a song with only loops and samples, they use their creative skills and imagination. The creative processes are still at work. It's an auditory collage. The musician finds samples and loops that fit the criteria for what he or she wants to create (what they have in their imagination) and puts them together in such a way, so what they imagined comes to life.

It's a good listen. I feel it needs more rhythmic fill-ins and better transitions. The sudden cuts sort of take away from the nature of the piece. A nice modern style though, but there always room for improvement.

I couldn't concentrate on the music because of the creepy ass signature! But it was awesome! It could be 5% more awesome though!

Nose picking. Come on, you all do it, don't pretend you don't... Sometimes a tissue isn't enough, one might just not have a tissue on them or maybe their nose just itches. Digging for gold once in a while doesnt harm anyone, it's not an obscene act, other mammals do it and mucus isn't gross, it's one of the realities of life. Everyone has it, even you! I made this creature up in a random description/story thingy and was wondering if anyone wanted to draw it for me?

A ghastly blank sat on the chequered linoleum floor of the vacant slaughterhouse. His black balloon of a head hovering above his wooden, puppet-like body. His eyes and wide, frozen grin seemed to had been drawn on him by a child with a white marker. Every now and then he would chuckle and run a wooden claw down his rubbery face. Rocking back and forth. His face wouldn't pop and he knew that. No matter how hard he tried.

Is this some continuation of my thread debating on whether or not Dashie bathes?

I shower every day, and my hair just naturally stays disheveled weather I comb it or not. Maybe she has a similar situation...

It is possible... But I dunno.

But in all seriousness, she does fly through clouds all day, and has rainbow water falls on her house, she probably baths atleast twice a day by accident alone.
