  1. I brought it up because posters were doing their best to avoid it and saying "we should accept EVERYPONY no matter what". No matter what? Even if they're potential child molesters?

Some of it is. Go and read Sweet Apple Massacre and THEN tell me there's no foal-fiddling involved.

I'd like to share something with you, this was posted on the Brony Horror Stories tumblr:

Is this behaviour OK to you? Because it isn't to me or to wider society.

I was simply confused as your post kind of came out of nowhere. You just showed up and started talking about slut shaming, when nobody was talking about it. If you wanted to bring those issues up, because you felt they were important, then fine. You just came off as a bit hostile for no reason.

Also, no that kind of behavior is most certainly not ok, and should never be accepted. But there are plenty of cloppers and grimdark fans, who would never even think of doing something like that. I like both clop and grimdark stuff, and the idea of doing those things absolutely disgusts me. The thought of harming anyone in such a manner makes me feel ill.

  2. So, you're going to accept bronies who do things like slut-shaming, beating off to kiddy porn and rape apology? I'm not OK with that. Love and tolerance does not mean turning a blind eye to unethical and criminal activity.

You just blurted this out of nowhere. Were you trying to reply to someone in particular? Nobody was talking about anything like that. Clop, and grimdark content doesn't have to be about things like that.

  3. Having watched it a few more times, my opinion remains mostly unchanged. I will admit that I think Sweetie's anger escalated a bit too quickly, and it would have been nice for there to be some more time dedicated to that. But considering the time frame they had to work with they did a really good job of getting the point across.

I also think a few lines of dialogue came across as forced. But I'm mostly just nitpicking at this point. 10/10.

  4. I have to make another post, I just have too many soundtracks I want to share:

Spelunky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=uXOxWgGZBKI (I really like the ice caves music in particular).

Donkey Kong country 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=cbreFmRDN3E (Even more childhood memories).

Sonic after the sequel: (This is actually a fangame. I would actually suggest any sonic fan give this game a shot it's really good. If this music doesn't convince you I don't know what will).

  5. I can't say that we're really all that close. Despite living in the same house, I don't tell them anything. They don't know about most of my interests, I don't really feel like I can talk to them. They aren't all that judgmental, but I get the feeling they would be worried about me if they knew about some of the things I like. I don't really know all that much about them either, I don't really ask them about much.

Although I have been meaning to buy some pony plushes, and a Binding of Isaac tarot card deck. So, I don't know how long their ignorance of those two interests will last. I'm just really sick of acting fake around them.

  6. I've only ever had crushes on fictional characters, always non-human too. I can't even remember the last time I found a real person attractive. Not too sure what's up with that, but it hasn't caused me any sort of distress so I don't really care.

I've had a crush on all of the mane six at some point (minus Applejack).

  7. Hasbro has the right to do so, but I really don't like. If I made a cartoon, game, comic or anything else I would be completely fine with people using my characters and ideas as long as they gave me credit for it. I can understand it from a corporate point of view, but from a fan perspective I hate it.

  8. This one shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who knows me:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=AX6h8_Y_ot4 (My favorite track is the one at the very end, My innermost apocalypse.)

    This is great too:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=GZhoE9S5YbQ

    Childhood memories:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=tBWl9p0fH28

I used to love Sonic to death. I'm not as enamored as I once was, but the music is still awesome:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HUpCPpdjh1E

  9. My cat was bothering me for most of the episode. "Shut up Luna, I'm trying to listen to Luna!" Yes, my cat's name is Luna, and no I actually named her before I became a brony.

Anyway, this episode was great. The dream sequence was really surreal and creepy, just how I like them. Rarity was great. Anyone who complains that she's not generous enough needs to watch this. I also really appreciated how they brought up Luna's jealousy of Celestia, and what happened because of it. I honestly thought we would never hear about that again.

I really liked Sweetie Belle in this episode too. She was selfish and a bit cruel, but when she learned just what the consequences of her actions were she did everything to make it right. I know how that feels, I've done things like that myself. No wonder she's my favorite cmc.

10/10 for now. I can't think of any major complaints. I'll post again after watching it a few more times to see if my opinion changes.

  10. It's funny how so many of you said religion. My favorite game of all time The Binding of Isaac is based off a biblical story. It's filled with all sorts of religious symbolism, and it's not always shown in the most positive of lights. It's not anti-religion though.

My avatar is even a ponified Isaac.

  11. I hated all of it, every single second was just awful. Adults kept telling me it was the best time of my life. If that was the best life has to offer then I'm not sure how interested I am in living.

I was constantly bullied, and teased, I even got beat up once or twice. The teachers were terrible, almost every single teacher I've ever had has talked in monotone.

I hated the literature they made us read. I hated having to wake up early, I hated having to go to bed early. I just hate having a strict schedule in general. I don't mean to whine, but it just plainly sucked.

  12. I'm really nervous about meeting new people and tend to stay quiet. On top of that when I do talk about something that I find interesting, I tend to get really obsessive and you can't get me to shut up. I also have a tendency to be really blunt and sarcastic in real life. Plus most of the things I'm interested are really weird and kind of creepy, so I have a hard time relating to others. Overall I have a hard time making friends even though I try to be really friendly and helpful most of the time.

  13. My parents only ever used a physical punishment once. They never did it again because I didn't react very well to it. I got mad and hit back. I usually wasn't punished anyway, I barely ever did anything wrong, and when I did I was never caught.

If I did feel like I really did something wrong I would punish myself. Once, a teacher accused me of bullying, because a kid tripped and hit his head on a rock when I was playing with him. She only saw me standing over him after he fell. I felt really bad about it and started hitting myself with my own shoe really hard on my forehead. I think that kind of scared my parents, and made them afraid that I would really hurt myself if I felt I deserved it. I don't do stuff like that anymore, I'm a lot better about not hurting myself.

  14. well, dr.whooves is just another version of the doctor so, i beleive that derpy should be like rose which is the doctors companion that is airing now (srry if it isnt the doctor on air this time its just its the one on netflix lolz)

The current Doctor is Peter Capaldi, he just took the mantle from Matt Smith. David Tennant hasn't been the doctor for years. Plus David was the tenth in a long line of actors to play the doctor, all of which had companions of their own. I think Derpy is just Derpy, the doctor probably likes her for being herself. Not for being some sort of pony Rose clone.

  15. I'm not a fan of Chrysalis herself being 'redeemed'. I'd much rather the show give her some depth and development instead. Also, the introduction of good changelings instead would be welcomed (and I say this with the understanding that not ALL Changelings are in need of a redemption story - that'd be unbelievably pretentious).

    Also:

Except all that is is fanon and headcanon. There is NO solid evidence that supports they need love to survive and the headcannon of it being the case is often used in fanworks just to make the protagonist changelings look good and the ponies their 'oppressors'. Even if the show does go down that route, yes, Chrysalis' army (just her army, as said above, I'm so tired of people talking as if every single changeling is in need of redemption) CAN still be called villains because it wouldn't justify invading and trying to subjugate an entire nation and its populace, at all.

That's why I said we simply don't know enough about them. What I meant is that it was a possibility. Maybe they were just doing it to become powerful. Maybe they don't even have free will and are just puppets for chrysalis to use. Maybe they are aliens from mars. These are all possibilities, because the show has told us very little about them. We can't accurately judge whether they are worthy of redemption or not because of this. I never said my ideas were correct, I just said it was a possibility. Just like them being pure evil is a possibility.

  16. It depends. I always thought the changelings needed love to survive. The ponies weren't willing to give it so they had to take it by force. Maybe the process of draining love hurts the creature being drained and the changelings have no choice. We simply don't know enough about changelings to know if redemption is an option. If they were only doing it because they were starving, and had no other way then can they even be called villains?
