  1. At least 9 close relative of mine have died from lung cancer, and I'm not even over exaggerating.

So I know what's it's like to lose someone close.

But I've never lost any of my parents before, and I can't even imagine losing them either.

This must really hard on you.

My best of wishes for you, friend.

  2. Sorry, but as a straight man, I don't necessarily see other men as... "adorable".Plus I'm... very much an Anti-Communist.So sorry brah, can't worship under those terms. But I'll say that @Fizz is a decent member of these forums and... yeah. That.

Why exactly do you feel the need to praise this mere mortal?
    Nice profile pic brah.

  3. Ah yes.

I have encountered these thoughts myself.

I was an atheist for 1 day, but there were so many crazy thoughts and questions in my head I just had to take a step back.

So I started from the basics and asked myself this:

Intellectual Design or The Eternal Exsistance of Matter.

    What makes more sense?

Well for starters, I believe one of the properties of matter is that it has to come from something else.

It can't just be "there" to start with.

    Which to me is... impossible.

Picture the universe as a machine.

How's the "machine" going to turn on?

    It needs a "start button".

Intelligent Design- a God or some other supernatural force started the universe.

Atheism- we don't know yet, but it sure can't be a God or anything like that.

That's when I realized atheism didn't really provide a concrete basis on how the universe had started.

    How could you though?

How could you possibly provide good, solid theory on how matter in itself started?

No atheist I have ever met has provided me with a good explanation for that.

Therefor the theory of the world happening by physical and not supernatural means collapses on itself.

That's when I came back to Christianity, BUT... I had adjusted my beliefs.

I do not believe everything the Bible says though.

My viewpoint on sin is simple:

If it isn't hurting anyone, how can it be a sin?

A couple weeks after that I had labeled myself bisexual.

    Why?

    1. It isn't causing any harm to anyone so it can't possibly be a sin.

    2. Simply because I was just that way.

Not only did that change, but I also kept the idea of evolution.

I believe God created matter necessary to start the beginning of the formation and orgin of the universe.

Am I satisfied with my beliefs?

    Yes.

I am a proud theological evolutionist.

Now I'm NOT saying you're stupid or an illogical fool if you are an atheist.

These are merely reasons why I believe what I believe.

    P.S.

Why you became an atheist and threw out the entire idea of intellectual design just because of the ignorance of a few individuals makes me scratch my head a bit.
