  1. When I was younger, I was always a Cartoon Network kid. Every show was great! From Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Courage, Dexter, Power Puff, Billy and Mandy, and everything in between! When all of those shows inevitably cancelled, I figured that was the "end of the road" for me for Cartoon Network. I gave their new programing an unbiased chace, but I could never get into any of the shows (With the exception of Adventure Time, but I suppose that's another post ;O ).

One day I was flicking channels, when I came across a show called "Regular Show". I've heard of it in comericals, etc. and it looked pretty cool so I decided to give it a legitment chance. It was the one where Rigby changes his name to Trashboat and I immediately fell in love the show. I found It had a sort of nostalgic feel to it in the sense that it felt like a 90's show, the voice acting seemed so natural, and the characters all had unique, yet realistic traits to them. After watching a few more epsoides, my view on the show only got better! The writting is perfection, and shows a much more "edgy" style, something you don't see a lot in Cartoon Network's current programing. I'm confident in saying that they could put the same show, as is, on Adult Swim, and the ratings would turn out great eithor way!

Anways, what's everyone's elses view on this show? Like it, hate it? If you have never heard of it, I highly recomend it! :]

  3. Personally, I would l love to see SP episode based off mlp. The funny thing about south park is that they never really make fun of anything, they show how stupid society could react to something. For example, in the newest season, they show one women who died on a toilet. so they create all sorts of stupid laws about it for the one rare occurance, much like what would happen today. I feel like the creators would make fun of mlp persay, just how people view the fanbase.

I feel if they do an mlp episode though, they should put in the war of 4chan and bronys tho!

  4. I honestly liked that story for the plot, so feel welcome to skip the sex. It's not essential to know what they did, just who they did it with.

I actually gave it a second chance. Really interesting plot, really. Once you get past the initial shock, it's actually a really good read. Thanks for opening me up too it! :]

  5. Has good sire partaken in the pleasures of The Scootaloo Diaries? 'Tis a must-read fanfiction.

Can't say I have, however I will go check it out! :o

EDIT: Well, I just read the first chapter... Brb, puking out my insides while I ponder how people who write these walk the earth~~

JK, it honestly wasn't terrible for what it is of course, which isn't really saying much to begin with. :l

  6. I have yet to see the entire series (so far, of course) in its entirety twice, but I do go back to my favorites quite often.

    Dragon Shy, because Fluttershy.

Sonic Rainboom, because the ending brings a tear to my eye. Everytime.

    Winter Wrap Up, because song.

    Return of Harmony, because Discord

    Royal Wedding, because YES.

Lesson Zero, because insane Twilight. :P

  7. I would honestly have to say no. First of all the kids in my elementary school would rip me apart if I ever said one word about ponies. Also I always thought the Power Puff Girls was a "Girly" show, and if I remeber correctly, I refused to watch it because of that. I like to think my sister taught me how to be more open minded about things when she gave me her music to borrow (hawthorne heights, my chemical romance, dance gaivin dance, etc., all bands not many kids in my town were into). I started relize that just because somethings different, doesn't mean it can't be accepted. /cheesyrant

Hell, if this community wasn't here, only about 20% of people would know how cool this show was. (See what I did there? ;o)

  8. Not going to lie, the first time I watched the show, Twilight, Rainbow, and Fluttershy all reminded of PPG, and i knew Lauren Faust created it (one of the main reasons i looked into the show) so I thought maybe she wanted to base off of them or something. I figured I was looking too far into it though. xP

And yes! CMC PPG for the win! :D

  9. Fake or not, I don't understand what everyone's concern over this. Look at the mane 6, they clearly all have unique and distinct personalities. The creators knew what they were doing, and every other character aside all brought that same life and feeling into the show. The writters will undoubtably find a happy medium and, if this is true, will have another great character on our hands.

Btw, maybe Spike represents the 7th element? :o

  10. "Excellent! Yes let's meet up real soon, and we'll discus the details about your upcoming gigs!"

"Meet me at 32 Galoping lane, this Saturday at 6, and we'll get everything straightened out. Cool with you guys?"

  11. "You see, ever since the decline of music in equestria, there have been less and less ponys who will actually create music. This is simply because its underappricated, and a "waste of time" as some call it, an outrage, right?!"

"Before this huge mess, I was a promoter for many groups, therefore once this disaster started, my work was shut down, however I am singlehoofedly brining this fantastic scene back!"

"That's where you ponys come in! How would you like to be part of a record deal? Let's bring this scene back together, what do you say?!"

  12. Agreed, it definitely gives off the "My Little Dashie" feel too it. [Which I absolutly adored :")]

I really like the way you put a lot of thought into identifying the character's thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc. Very good overall!

It sounds like it could undoubaly be a fantastic read, can't wait to read the whole thing! :)

The next day, the Trio receives a message from an anonymous number.

"Word on the street is you ponys are trying to make it big in the music biz, eh? It's not going to be easy, considering the man decided it wasn't good enough no more, but it's worth a shot, no doubt about that. Gimmie a call back when you get this message, I know a few ponys who can hook you up with some sweet gigs on the outskirts of town."
