I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this, but I'm gonna be honest...

 

I think the Beatles are kind of overrated

 

Kind of agree with you in a way, but they were the pretty much the first of it's kind to go "out of the box" per say. Personally, I believe they are in fact overrated, however I think anyone can agree that it's completely legit to have a massive amount of respect for them.

Overrated: Needless to say, most of the newer rap on the radio. I am a drummer, so I can usually bump to a song if it's a catchy beat, but it shouldn't be hyped up that much, takes away from real instrumental music (Not saying rap doesn't take skill *Feels like Fluttershy* xD). Although I adore it, Dubstep. I love it, but how a bunch a sounds got put together to a beat, and got this popular is beyond me! (I still love it though! xD)

Underrated: Ok look up Anthony Green, right now. DO IT! (GOD DAMMIT, DO I LOVE ANTHONY GREEN!). In all seriousness he deserves a lot more publicity. His vocal range is not of this earth, and one of the best vocalist's of the time imo. A bold statment, I'm sticking by it, look at a few of his songs if you don't believe me. (Saosin in 2006, Circa Survive - current, Also all his solo work are equally as impressive).

I would post my favorite song of his here, but I love his work WAYYY to much to pick only one. So I put my ipod on shuffle with all his songs on it, and pulled out the 5th song (no particular reason ).

The show is a gender neutral show to begin with, so I dont see why it would matter in the first place, in all honestly.

However most of the main/side characters are in fact females, my only guess for this is the show was originally intended for little girls. So I suppose they would be having more relatable characters for them. Ex: Slumber parties, Makeovers, Dresses, etc.

The fact they could put that into esencially a gender neutral show, and make it enteraining is beyond me. Bravo Hasbro, bravo!

Think legend of zelda, ganon (in this case discord) repeatedly has to be sealed away by link (mane 6), and the hero's descendants inherit the triforce of courage (elements of harmony) to seal away ganon again (well link doesn't actually use the triforce of courage against ganon, it just symbolizes that hes the hero). So the mane 6's descendants will inherit the elements of harmony so they can seal discord away again, then their descendants, then theirs, and so forth.

A scary thought indeed, however could make for a fantastic episode! I personally loved Discord's episode, I thought it all fit together very nicely and very well thought out.

Both season openers were fantastic, and needless to say, the Royal Wedding was pure epic, so hopefully season 3 will live up to the community's expectations. Hopefully S3's opener will be another Discord episode, that would make my pony life complete! Come on evil pony's, break him out so we get another Discord episode! xD

I personally love the CCC, it represents the kids that try to grow up too fast, while everypony else is telling them to take it slow.

On the opposite side, I can also see why they might be disliked. Lets be honest, how many episodes can the writers create revolving around the CCC "finding there calling", before fans get sick of it.

Defiantly gives the show more depth, imo.

Applejack has an older brother but no parents apparent.

What's the story behind Big Macintosh anyways?

 

Never really thought about it, but Big Mac's story for an episode could actualy be really interesting.

Also I would love to see a Vinyl and/or Octavia episode, it seems they would both have unique personalities, even with being strictly background characters.

I hate to say it, but Trixie. After watching her episode countless times, trying to find the "good" in her I can honestly say that she fascinates me. She seems to truly know that she's not the truly the best at everything, but she doesn't let it get to her at all. Maybe not an episode for her, but maybe a Cameo (like Luna in the Season finale).

On a side note, no love for Scottalou? The only CCC they never really went too in depth with? I would love to know more about her.

Also Discord, Luna, and maybe even a Spike episode? (Spike's parents ;O)

Sonic Rainboom. Towards the end with Fluttershy= Biggest DWAHHHH moment to any show ever.

Somepony has to take care of the farm, right? Also maybe he would be in charge of Granny Smith?

I loved the episode, but I completly agree with you. Everything about the episode built upon each other, quite a good plot overall, however it seemed the climax was over in a matter of seconds. Despite the episode legitimately being very good, even in the synctube party with over 40 hyped up, hardcore bronys, I couldn't help to think in the back of my mind, "So.. That's it..".

The creatures I feel weren't a problem really. They really didn't have anything to do with the plot other then to antagonize the situation, so I didn't really have a problem with them "knowing how they worked". I thought it the part with Pinkie ("Ive seen better") was pretty funny, and was an original idea overall.

As for statement #3, I really have no comment for, only time will tell, I suppose...

Completely agreed on the Sonic Rainboom. Remeber in season 1 when Dashie first did the Sonic Rainboom, sure we all do (easily one my favorite parts in the series). the shock of Dashie saving Rarity triggered it. Here we are presented with Dashie simply flying and basically making it look easy. I understand that with all the story there was really no time to fit it in, but at least have us see Dash struggling a little bit.

Remember the no matter how you want to look at it, the audiance is kids, so in all fairness, the acting didn't have to be spot on for Tori.

If anypony is still reading, don't get me wrong, I absoulty loved the episode! By this point, I'm litterally looking for parts I thought were off! xD

You can't kill a character off. No matter what angle you look at it, it's a kids show. However I am all for Rainbow doing something completly awe-inspiring that shows off how loyal she is to her friends, where everything works out in the end ( Character development episode). That would just be plain awesome!

Ok everypony, here's a theory I have been working on.

As it changes from day to night, Luna states, "As always, I will guard the night".

Let's break that down. Has anypony ever noticed we never see the evil cadence at night while Luna is coincidentally "guarding the night"?

The most important clue is at the end of the episode. Enter Luna, who nonchalantly asks, "Did I miss anything?".

This leads me to believe she stopped guarding the night because she knew that everypony thought her secret alter-ego was gone. Therefore, there was essentially no blood on her hooves, and no pony knew she had anything to do with it.

Oh! One more thing!

Twilight: "She fooled everypony"

Chrysalis: "I did, didn't I?"

In all seriousness, I would have to say Twilight. We have to have the most in common, and conversation would come quite easy for us. As much as I love Fluttershy, I honestly feel it would be awkard to have a conversation with such a shy pony. :l

Hmm... Never noticed that before, however I don't doubt it is a reference to Pac-Man. I wouldn't say they are related though.

Well, Vinyl Scratches eye colour is not known (I know fanlore says red, but that's just a guess.) Do you mean her colour without her eyes, or including the red version?

 

Both look quite good. Although we can't tell for sure, the fan made red eyes look 20% cooler.

I actually love the music in this show. In fact, I was actually just commenting before good it was.

I'll admit, at first I thought it would be pretty annoying throughout the show (laugh at the ghosties), but after I saw Winter Wrap up, I completely changed my mind.

I'd have to say a direct tie between Luna, and Vinyl Scratch would be the most visually appealing pony on the show. Also Twilight has a nice look to her. I'd say they are all well visually made, and match their personalities quite well.

Wow, so much emotion in this. I love it.

You can litterally feel the desperation of the women. The background looks almost abstract and only adds to the atmosphere; seems to almost represent how her mind has coped for far too long.
