  1. How exactly will magic and abilities work out? Are all canon magic allowed? Some not allowed, such as Stop? What about abilities gained throughout the games, such as Combo Plus or MP Haste? Will it be worked into the RP, or is it an irrelevant mechanic for this RP?

    Another thing is will there be some mechanic from the KH games that will be used in the RP?

  2. I'm not too sure of that myself. At the time, I was just concerned with everyone's well being, and I was fine with it. In retrospect, probably wasn't... Artsy's sigh made him think she was bummed about splitting up and of the stalemate between everyone and Discord. He caused some chaos within the group so far and... he's sure everyone's having their own personal battles against him...

    "What do you think of this whole... pony thing anyway? I mean, what now? Do you even think it's possible for us to get home? What if we were stuck here forever?"

    He paused for a brief moment on the questions. Maybe...my subconscious knew or thought... it was a new start... and... no no no...Maybe something else. Brave dropped the thought there. He just used logistics. Something he was used to. Well, this pony thing is just weird. I'm not sure what to think of it. As for being stuck here... it can either go two ways. One, the more unfortunate route, is that we don't stop Discord and things get more chaotic. What the result might end up as is a mystery. Two, we stop him, but there needs to be some way to go back. And that's also a mystery.

    When he responded, he sounded genuine. He always tried to be genuine. Even when lying specifically about questions toward himself. He made sure his situations never conflicted or worried others'. From that, he wondered if Artsy had anything else that was bouncing around her head that she wanted to let out. He turned his head slightly toward Artsy, but his face still isn't visible.

    Anything else bothering your mind?

  3. Alright, second part of Serah's quiet day in ponyville posted. Was diligently waiting until the next page started before I posted it. No, I'm not sure what is going on right now. I just had an interesting idea while showering last night, and then things just snowballed from there when I started to write it. Still don't know what's next.

    Everyone, make sure you don't forget to read Electrobolt's post! I felt bad circling the RP like a hawk and then pouncing as soon as he posted.

    The end of that second part made me "D'AAAWWWWWWWWWWW"

    Keep writing! I really feel like giving Lyra a damn big hug right now!

  4. Hey! I was wondering if you could reserve two spots! One for me and one for my roommate who's got to make an account. I told him about this and he's already made a character in Word!

    One question so it can be answered for him already. He's planning to have 2 keyblades. The drawback is that one uses his life force to give the blade power, but only receives half the healing effects of Cure, Cura, and Curaga. Is this allowed, or would he need to just use only one keyblade or change certain aspects of his keyblade usage and power?

  5. Brave didn't expect a response from himself or Artsy. Oh, Artsy... Looks like she's already awake... and noticed this... Just get off the topic. I don't need anyone worrying about me... After all... I'm... He stopped himself right there. He just wasn't sure what to think or say. He slowly got up, regardless of the pain that he's in. He looked away and down from Artsy, in order to hide his discouraged face.

    I'm... fine. Just need to bandage this up... You've no need to worry about me. He tilted his face slightly to Artsy. What about you? You were out cold after you fell from the sky. Had to carry you back to the Inn... And unfortunately, Discord managed to escape..... He paused for a moment, sad at the news himself. He turned away from Artsy again. But don't think of it as your fault. It's not. Regardless, after what happened, everyone else split to recover and think of what to do next. Silver is going with Peach to her house to try and find something on Discord. I dunno about where everyone else is or what they're doing.

  6. How about this?

    I really think I need a sonic song for Speed, considering she did almost name herself sonic.

    Well, Maybe it's just that its a Genesis/Game Gear/Chiptuneish genre. I like the songs. But this one also is still a maybe. After searching for a while. I've got a recommendation. I feel like it has attitude and the sense of speed for... well... Speed. Maybe also the sense of rushing toward a destination. That's what this song made me feel when I played this stage for the GameCube. Tell me what ya think!

  7. Serah's Theme Song:

    I actually composed this song back in 2010, but it fits the character very well.

    Wow. This fits the character to a T! With the backstory and all, I can see bits and pieces of Serah's past as the song plays through it. A lot of danger and suspense. The song makes me feel Serah's a risk-taker and not afraid to enter uncharted or known-to-be-dangerous areas. The song speaks for itself. This really does fit Serah.

    Speed theme song?

    This one is a maybe for me. It is Sonic, and Sonic makes me think running fast and whatnot, fitting with Speed's name and cutie mark. But it's something in the song that just makes me question for an odd reason. I really don't know. It could go both ways.

    If anyone's got some feedback, not just for Speed, but for everyone, please offer it!

  8. Themes for characters? I wonder if this would suit Arty cause his theme has to do with perseverance

    Good song. But I think this is close, but no cigar. The lyrics of the song aim toward believing that something better will happen. It's like how the small town girl and the city boy took the train "going anywhere." They're down on their luck and they're hoping/believing that something will change that. They keep "living just to find emotion...somewhere in the night." Perseverance is more pushing through an obstacle and keeping a course of action in order to break through. It's a good song, but I think another one might fit Arty better.

    Silver's theme would be something touhou-ish. Just because thats how i see him and i love touhou music.

    While I'm at it here's a song for possibly Peach's deviant personality or Discord in general.

    (Spoilered for some-what terrifying image)

    Who wants me to find a touhou song to fit their character? :P

    I like Touhou myself. Personally like Ran Yakumo's Theme. As for the theme you chose, it's a nice theme, but I don't exactly get the feel of Silver's character in it. The Touhou songs were just made to feel upbeat as you went through the bullet hell game and kept you focused and entertained. I think Touhou should be avoided because it's more fitting for the game and not really for a character, despite this being Patchouli's Theme. (She's another one of my favorites.)

    Even though U.N. Owen Was Her? is very notorious, it's Touhou, keeping the upbeatness in it. So I don't think it would fit either Discord or Peach's Deviant personality.

    Because Arty is also an airhead, and you're talking about Touhou, then this is for him

    Same as above. Touhou is upbeat, doesn't exactly fit for a character, but more for the game.

    I think this might be a potential theme for Discord actually. Lemme know what ya think?:

  9. Back in his head, Brave laid there in the darkness. In pain. In distress. He rolled onto his back as he grit his teeth in pain. He lifted his head to see the bloody gash on his right side again. Brave tried again to get up. He held onto his would with his left hand and grabbed his right knee with his other hand. With one motion, he lifted his upper body to a straight position. His left hand felt a bit of blood flowing out. He then attempted to roll onto his belly once more, but drop his elbows on the ground to give him some leverage a bit later. He grunted and strained a bit more as he did this. More blood flowed out of his wound. Brave was now on knees and elbows. Just one more effort and he would be standing. He shifted his weight forward and then pushed up using his hands. He quickly brought his right knee up and pushed down to bring the other leg up. This brought the most pain on Brave.

    ~~~~~
    Back at his pony body, the strain Brave seemed to make in his "dream" reopened his wound. Blood stained his coat and started flowing down his belly and back. At least it wasn't as much as Brave is seeing in his unconscious state.
    ~~~~~

    He grit his teeth once more and brought his head down. Upon lifting his head, he saw another human. It was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. The shirt also has the same wound! And it was wearing the same thing Brave was! But... there's no face. No hair. No eyes. No mouth. Nothing. And yet...

    "Why do you go on?" said the figure.

    "What is the point of this?" said another copy appearing from the left.

    "What do you plan to do?" said a 3rd from the right.

    "But most importantly..." A 4th appeared behind Brave and performed a Full Nelson Hold on him.

    (For reference: http://www.ultimatej...-nelson-2-1.jpg)

    Brave's arms were brought up and he became immobile. He was too weak to break out. Then the one in front of him pulled something out... from his wound. A mirror. He shows it right in Brave's face.

    "Who are you?"

    Brave's heart jumped. He had no face. He lost all feeling... What... Who...

    "Are you a somebody? Are you known by someone or somepony? Have you made your mark? Or even got a cutie-wootsy mark? Nope, Nu-uh, and that's a double no-no! I've looked at you Brave. Those long nights studying? Won't get you anywhere. Just a waste of time, energy, and talent. If you had any. Those 'friends' you helped out in your youth? They don't remember squat about your 'generous' actions. I haven't seen one invention. One inspiration. One gift. One talent. NOT ONE OUNCE OF AN IDENTITY. Those bullies were right! You were, and are nothing!"

    Discord seemed to have really broken Brave, but he knew it was fun to drag the chaos for a lot longer. The figure gave a wide, creepy mouthless grin. Brave's faceless reflection spun and morphed into Discord's own face. He stuck his hand outside the mirror, broke off a piece, and started eating the glass.

    "I'd suggest you find a fake identity. The one you have now seems to not work..."

    Discord then stuck his hand out again and laid a finger on Brave's chest. A gentle poke, and Brave started falling. Falling... Down and down into the darkness He saw the "Faceless". He saw the people who bullied him. They called him "nerd," "geek," "wimp," "crybaby," and other taunting names that he remembered. He even saw people he recognized, but they turned their backs upon seeing Brave.

    He heard something else in the darkness, but he didn't understand it...

    "nightmares... not really sure... might be stuck... sometimes? I know I... "

    Discord's face emerged closer and closer to Brave until he was engulfed in his mouth.

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    NOOOOOOO!!!
    Brave jolted up from his unconscious state back in Artsy's room. He was very, very shaken up. His heart was pounding, his blood raced, and bled. He was still in pain and in such a sweat. Brave felt the tears on his face, and realized he was once again a pony. His eyes were wide and dilated. Slowly, Brave swallowed a bit of saliva to clear his dry throat and slowly opened his mouth.
    ...who...?
  10. NO ACTION?!
    **/me flips a table and walks out**
    I kid. Yea. Tension is good.I'm trying to get some going on with Brave as well, with more of his inner conflict. Trying to make a conflict of him fighting with himself and Discord. Dunno if I am making it interesting/understandable/entertaining. I think I'm doing okay with up, but maybe I'm missing something, or it hasn't gotten to the more tense points. Never rush a cake unbaked, I suppose.
    On a side note, I was wondering if you all had theme songs for your characters already as you were going through this RP. I think I have one, but still debating. Or maybe you just planned to make your own theme yourself with some music creating program, like Fruity Loops. I give props to those that can do that. Or maybe you think the theme is an idea left alone. Your call.
    I was just wondering if you had a theme anyway, that I could get a listen to it and then critique it based on what I know and can read so far from the RP and back story. Everyone likes feedback. Makes em happy. And we could maybe have something going on with this theme song? Let me know and post your theme if you want to! I'll post mine later when I really decide.
  11. Brave turned around and walked back to where Artsy, Peach, and Silver were. He seems to have recovered from being winded, as seen from his now returned regular breathing. Another thing was that the blue glow in his eyes seems to have disappeared. Peach said she was going back to study up more on the situation and her element. Silver was going with her as well to try and come up with a plan. It sounded like a good plan. Brave noticed Artsy still in her stasis of sorts. And from her screaming before, he could assume Discord was doing something awful to her psyche, memory, beliefs, or whatever Discord planned to screw up. Although, he declined the heal from Silver earlier, he decided to carry Artsy on his back.
    The inn seems like a bad place, but it's the only place that's familiar to me so far, and I don't think Discord will do anything to the inn again. I'll take Artsy and she can rest there. If she wakes up and for whatever reason doesn't like the place, we'll head out. As for me, don't worry. I'll manage with the pain. You both need all the time to plan for the future of things to come. I'll watch over Artsy in the meantime. Good luck you two. If I can somehow send a message to you if we're split, please read it. I'll send something a bit later that might help all of us. Until then, good luck...
    Brave nodded at the two and set off for the inn. Although it was quite close, it seemed like forever getting to the door. Fatigue was setting in. Pain was overtaking his body. The sense of passing out was lingering over him. But as he passed through the doorway of the inn, he knew it was his will that was pushing him all this way. In retrospect, I don't even know why I chose the Element of Will. I just said it. I never gave it a second thought...Why?... It's strange as if I knew it...I'm not getting this... But no matter. Artsy's gotta go back to her room.
    Upon entering, the manager of the inn noticed him and Artsy. Brave only asked for what Artsy's room was and he pointed it out. Brave thanked him and told him he needed no help taking her to her room. After the struggle of just getting to her room, he managed to open the door and plop her on the bed. He looked at her briefly.If she's having a battle with Discord. I dunno if I can do anything with my current state. "...weak..." I sure hope she's okay in there... "...helpless..." If I can't do anything now, I'll wait until she's conscious and I'll see if I can do anything then... "...hesitant..."
    At that point, a huge wave of shock entered his being. His vision was blurry. His legs were staring to fail him. He was shutting his eyes. Stay awake... stay awake... stay... Brave dropped to the floor, with his bloody, burned right side up.
    "...Failure..."
    Brave woke up and saw... hands... He was human again... He tried getting up, but his legs wouldn't cooperate. He saw the blood. There was a huge gash of blood just above his right hip, right where the burn mark was if comparing human and pony bodies, Brave assumed. He just decided to crawl. Crawl to a light that had appeared in the distance. He crawled for his life. A faint blood trail followed his path. It seemed like ages until he reached the light. As he reached over to touch it, the light moved. Farther and farther away... I missed...
    "...Failure..."
    Why...
    "...Weak..."
    No...
    "...Hopeless..."
    Back outside his unconscious state, Brave shed tears of sorrow. Of weakness. Of failure.
  12. ANYWAYS... Before I decide to make my post, I'm curious as to what you all might want to have Electrobolt go through next, since in the game, there are two routes: One that leads through the ocean, and one that takes you through a ghost house... I wanna know which one might seem like a better idea for you all before I type it out xP
    Also because I can't easily decide which one I might wanna do...
    Both seem like a good route because if you went for the ocean, I could imagine you turning into a sea pony navigating around the different enemies. The ghost house is also a good choice because it has to deal a bit with fear and that can play a bit with Electrobolt's fear of whatever he is scared of. Even with both choices being good, I'd go with the ocean because in SMW tradition, water worlds go before ghost houses.
  13. I would have posted while i was actually on the computer earlier, but when i came on the forums were in chaos. I was having fun with the mods and reporting some threads that kept getting repeated. :P
    Now that im on mobile im not going to write a post for it. DOH. I'll be there soon. ._.
    I can wait. Take your time, Silver!
  14. Well, Artsy's dream is kind of a signal where we'll be going next. Though I'm kind of waiting for somebody to do something about them in the first place. I don't want to make her wake up because she wasted a lot of energy and it would seem cheap. I think next up, everyone should go further into Ponyville to find a place to rest and discuss what had just happened if you don't know what to do.
    And maybe somebody should take Artsy to a doctor or something if they're really that concerned.
    Welp, looks like I'll have to do something, if I'm not getting a response from Silver soon. Let's hope my body can take it! (No sexual innuendo intended...)
  15. Sorry i havent been very active in the rp lately. I have been following still. Kind of slowing down because i have no idea where we are going next. XD
    I know what you mean. Though for me, and I'm not telling you to rush, I'm just waiting for Silver's response to Brave not wanting the heal just yet and his response to Artsy's screams. Until then, Brave is just contemplating. =3
    And updated character into the database:
  16. There was a time when I thought that I was too late to see him.
    I don't know if I still believe that.
    I heard about the news on that March 2nd afternoon. He left on Thursday the week before. I thought it was a joke and I rushed outside. He wasn't inside the garage. He wasn't laying around backyard. I ran to his doghouse and he was there. The different colored dirt told me. I sped back inside and I saw my sister holding onto my mom. That's when I knew he really was gone, and the tears rushed down. I sat down in front of my food, slowly picking up the rice and beef I had that day. My parents explained it was something that we all were expecting. He was getting old and we knew he was going to pass on soon.
    I understood all that, but, at the time, I thought it was too soon.
    Or that I was too late.
    I went back to my room and I couldn't do anything that day. It was just him. My dog. Coco. I hadn't seen him since January when I left back for college for the Spring semester. I was just into work that whole time. Resident Assistant applications, math and physics work, a speech project, a writing paper, a lot of programming, interview preparations. My parents had called me multiple times throughout January and February if I was coming back at any point. The same response I gave was that I was too busy. And I was. I needed to keep my grades up to keep a $14,000 scholarship. I had to work at my work-study job to help with other school expenses. I needed to do well in this application so I can become a Resident Assistant in the future and have free room, board, and food expenses paid for so that my parents wouldn't have such a burden on my school finances.
    I worked to help my parents, but maybe they knew something about Coco during that time. I've never asked yet, but I understand what they were doing. They didn't want that burdening me with the work I already had. And that it was better in person.
    Nonetheless...
    After finishing up many things, I went home. I learned the truth. And I cried
    I never dealt with death before. And it was with someone whom I knew for most of my life up to this point.
    I was four when I first got him. Me and my sister played with Coco so much when we were young. He was a weird dog in that he never liked dog food and preferred regular chicken, beef, and bones. Especially bones. I remember at my young age that I tried to ride him at some point, but he would always try to go away. I was stupid at the time. Common sense doesn't hit us that soon anyway. He always hated baths and he loved chewing balls. He was a great dog. He even prevented the theft of my dad's car at one point! His barking woke my dad up. My dad saw the assailant try and break in his car, but he ran outside with a bat, cursing at him as the assailant ran away. I don't remember if Coco got awarded for that.
    But like all other dogs and their owners, Coco was my very close friend. He was there all the time, regardless if we punished him for something bad. But, like all dogs, they unconditionally love us. He unconditionally loved my family and I. I loved hugging his fluffy fur. I loved his black coat and white underside with his white furry toes. It always made me think he was wearing a tuxedo. His eyes always made me smile. Coco in general made me smile.
    But he left...
    I never said goodbye. I was too late. I think that is what keeps me sad about his death. I only wish I knew his time was coming and that I could have arrived a week earlier. I wanted to pet him and feed him and be with him one more time. But I missed the chance. I just wanted to saw goodbye before he closed his eyes one more time. I wanted to hold him. But on that March 3rd afternoon, I saw a patch of dirt that was different from the rest around it. And I just wanted him. I wanted to see him one more time. I wanted to dig him up, but I knew it was disrespectful.
    I can't see any of his pictures. They just remind me that he is gone. I haven't looked at any of them since then. People always say that you should remember the good times, but it's difficult for me at least. I just wanted to see him one last time, and maybe it wouldn't be so hard to remember the good times.
    I was too late.
    Why can't I have a second chance?
    You were there for me, Coco. Why couldn't have I been there for you?
    I wanted to see you.
    Before you left.
    I can see his photos again. But I stare into his eyes. And they aren't the eyes I am looking for. It's not the same. I want the real Coco. And I don't know what to do.
    I want to give him a big hug.
    I want to remember the good memories without tearing up.
    I want to say goodbye.
    But maybe it's time to move on...
    I can't do anything now, as much as I wish I could...
    I can only continue to live and remember the good times he brought me in my youth.
    Only remember him as one who always smiled.
    Only remember him who loved every kind of meat and more.
    Only remember him as a smart dog that knew the commands that were taught to him both left and right.
    Only remember him as the dog who was always with you.
    Only as an amazing dog and pet.
    Only as my close friend.
    Only as Coco.
  17. Steve saw this... thing... fly down and talk to her. He didn't quite understand who, or what it was, but at least it wasn't hostile. The only thing he knew that could fly were Ghasts, and they attacked whenever they saw Steve. After hearing out this thing, Steve shrugged, gesturing that he knew nothing of the situation as well. After that, there wasn't really much Steve wanted to do with this thing. Survival was all Steve knew, and talking wasn't really Steve's game. He started walking toward the city once more. He pulled out his clock. The sun is still up, even with all that time he spent digging, mining, and crafting. Something was up, and maybe that city might provide answers. Or danger. There was always danger.
  18. Steve seemed to pop out of nowhere. He saw himself in a desolate area and a city out in the distance. He was puzzled because all he knew were "natural" landscapes. He had never seen anything this huge pre-built, other than fortresses in the hellish environment of the Nether, mine shafts that traverse the underground, or strongholds holding many dangers and an even more dangerous portal in the normal world. Steve checked his inventory: empty... wait. A clock? He looked confused. He remembered having amassed a few tools, blocks, minerals, and whatnot, but they're gone?
    Did he die recently? He didn't remember a creeper, spider, zombie, or anything else that could have killed him... At least he has a clock. He didn't pay much attention to it. Before heading to that city off in the distance, he did what he normally did. Punched Trees. After knocking out a few trees, he made himself a workbench, and with that, made a wooden pickaxe and wooden shovel. Digging for a while, he finally hit stone, a good sign for Steve. He pulled out his pickaxe and mined what he could in there. Back at the workbench, he made himself 2 stone swords, 3 pickaxes, 2 shovels, and 2 axes. His wooden tools already broke, so taking a stone pickaxe, he continued mining. Few blocks here and there, some valuable coal here, and his pick broke.
    Upon exiting the little underground cave he made, he noticed it was still daytime. Odd. It would have been at least midday or later by this time... Was something wrong with this world? He shrugged, and with his equipment set up, he marched onto the city. Were there other people there? Is there some material that he's never seen before? He was excited as a survivalist loner could be. Dirt and Stone kicked up from all the running he did as he approached the distant city.
  19. Brave maintained his stance. He looked straight ahead where Discord was. Where he used to be. Where Peach currently sits at. .Yet Brave, still maintained his sight. He kept his consciousness. He held his ground. He hoped to god that Artsy was still okay, hoping the energy he transferred wasn't in vain. Silver drops by and apologized to him. Brave made an occasional gasp as he spoke to Silver.
    I don't blame you..... It's not your fault... I'm just glad... that... Peach and Artsy.... weren't hit...
    "Wait..." he said. "Better idea... this may be a little cold." Focusing his energy into a new form, he made some water appear and poured it on the burn. "That should make it feel better." Silver said. Silver felt awful for using that fireball attack and causing so much trouble with it.
    Brave then started walking just before Silver started healing him.
    No... Make sure Artsy... is okay... Get her to... the inn... Then check if... anyone else... is hurt and... needs your help....
    Stay conscious. I don't need Silver healing me now... I gotta make sure everyone else is fine. I can worry about myself later...
    Brave walked over to Peach. She was sobbing and could feel her pain of almost getting Discord. He understood too. Discord was in their grasp, but they weren't strong enough. Or they all didn't have it in them. Not yet. He was sure everyone had problems with Discord. Brave fought with himself, but he wouldn't admit to it. Not yet. Brave wondered if he could do more. He wondered if he was strong enough. ...Not yet.
    Peach... Stay strong...
    Peach... it's okay... we just need... to get closer... At this point... we weren't there... Not yet...
    Not yet.
    Not yet...
    Not yet.....
    We could have had him, only if... If I did a bit more, maybe...
    Only if you brought a bit more, you Brave boy...
    I should have put more to attacking you...
    Oh, but why? You couldn't hurt a fly! I mean, why would you? You'd defend it! Ha-ha HAAAA!
    Oh stop. We'll stop you... That's a promise...
    Is that a fact? Although you and your "friends" were close, but did give me a cigar, hehehe..., You all can't do anything. Especially you. Defending? How will that stop me? I'm chaotic! I easily go around your shield. Your grand wall. Your own self.
    That's not true...
    You're quite funny, Brave! We'll see in due time, young human pony. Oh, and do be careful. Burns can lead to scars! Hahaha!
    Scars.....
