I've never really considered myself a Star Wars fan, but I liked Carrie Fisher. I appreciated her more later in her life; more for her sense of humor, wit, and honesty regarding her personal life. Princess Leia was but a part of who she was; a funny, lovely, interesting woman.

Today is our #1 Rainbow Dash Fan's special day! Happy Birthday, Ziggy + Angel + Rain!
Thank you very much, @ChB. ^ ^ My loved ones and friends make every day special (and interesting lol).
I've (or someone else has) already posted these at some point, but I feel like spamming some internet-found Rainbow images today:

Freedom of speech is bad because some people are A-holes?
Not even remotely close to what I actually said. I said that people disingenuously use that position as an excuse to be douche bags.
but one should be free to call someone white trash or a [racism 1] and be called an A-hole in return. And they are; they are free to do so. Oftentimes without any significant repercussions and while behind a protective layer of anonymity; there's very little so much as hindering them. Yet, I constantly see people complaining about how their rights are being stripped away by SJWs. I've long since maintained the position you described, and I was exercising - in the very post you quoted - my ability to do what you said.
So you essentially just quoted someone who agrees with you for the purpose of disagreeing with a sentiment they never expressed. Though, on the "freedom of speech" is "bad" front: even the dumbest son of a bitch has the right to exercise that freedom, and I've no delusions of being able to control that. However, it doesn't mean that they actually have anything worthwhile to say. Freedom of speech is a volume business.
All I was suggesting is that someone give a few seconds of thought to what they're going to say before saying it. Prior to spouting the same hypocritical bullshit I've seen regurgitated all over the internet.

Extremism in any group is a bad thing, but anyone who would use the extremists present in the feminist movement as an excuse to hate ALL women is a massive jackass. And, it just so happens, that behavior only hands said extremists the validation they're looking for.
You also mentioned racism; that's a similarly "fun" topic.
I routinely see the denizens of the internet condemning "social justice warriors" and "political correctness," and, from an earnest freedom of speech perspective, I can kind-of see where they're coming from. But, at the same damn time, I see people who just use that as justification for spouting racial slurs and hate speech towards people who are different than they are. The anti-SJW crowd ALSO contains extremists, and they just make all of the freedom-of-speechers look bad by association.
This correlates directly to extremism in feminism.
The next time someone's condemning feminism and feminists, it might be worthwhile for them to take a look at the stupid fucks who cry out against political correctness before saying the most moronic, troll-ish, and deliberately inflammatory thing they can under the guise of practicing their rights. Because those people are just as full of shit - and self-validating - as any extremist out there.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I still own the Gamecube disc, and I just played through it again the other day with a friend. Sonic: Lost World is another one of my favorites. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was easily my favorite among the early Sonic titles; though I never cared much for the 2D side-scrolling Sonics.

So what you're saying is that a talking, flying, presumably magical equine would, for absolutely no discernible reason, have to adhere to different rules of physics were she to find herself in our universe performing an aerial maneuver that only magical winged equines from Equestria (as far as we've seen) are capable of performing.
...Why? She's magic; she can fucking fly. And at high rates of speed that cause rainbow-colored midair explosions. Magic says, "Screw the rules"; that's essentially what magic does. For the ponies of Equestria, their daily life IS "in real life"; I see no reason that anything they can do in Equestria would suddenly be rendered impossible or unusually dangerous were they to travel elsewhere.
tl;dr: She'd be fine; same as anytime she performs the maneuver in Equestria.

Lumping together Christmas and early birthday presents:
DOOM and recore for Xbox One from my brother
Sketchpad, Sharpies, and chocolate cake from a cousin
A neat octopus mug from another cousin; he also took us out of town and paid for dinner at IHOP
The Complete Poetical Works of H.P. Lovecraft, chocolate, and a comic book from my Finnish friend
A local friend gave me a really nice Italian shirt
And another friend gave me PSN cards so I could digitally purchase Final Fantasy XV

Wait. You mean you aren't secretly Lex Luger and you're not friends with Mike Rotunda?
No: though Lex Luger was my overly-muscled spirit animal. I used to know a guy named Mike, and I was fairly rotund back in high school. But that's about as close as it got.

If you're talking about actually and totally off the ground (rather than awkwardly and angrily "walking" a large appliance or piece of furniture out the door), I used to pick up one of my friends in high school onto my shoulders for the purpose of performing a wrestling maneuver called "The Rack." xD
^ This is the maneuver. Not a picture of me and my friend in high school, just to clarify.

Fun fact; Non-alcoholic cider doesn't foam
Another fun fact: Fermentation doesn't happen instantaneously. Head on over to wiki and they'll tell you cider is typically fermented from anywhere between three months and three years. Could the stuff be fermented in comparatively less time? I'm sure it could. But could fermentation be accomplished during the minutes (even hours seems like a stretch) between production and distribution we saw during the contest with Flim and Flam?
Here's a frothy-headed mug that was handed to Granny immediately after the Super Cider Whatsit sucked apples out of a tree and pressed them into cider:
There's foam in the cider because it's a visual cue that there's cider in the mug. I always see the "cider foam" argument pop up when this topic does, and it doesn't hold water.

I swear it's like we of those people never played with toys as kids.
I remember having some variety, but I also had multiples of favorite characters. The majority of which, it just so happens, were characters I'd first seen in their respective media. Thing is: Once I started to exhibit favoritism, my mom was observant enough to notice that I preferred Raphael over the other Ninja Turtles or Mario over Luigi, and she was the one who bought me toys. Whether you're a child-child or an adult-child, it's... Kinda more fun to play with or collect characters that you've especial affection for. I didn't and don't necessarily have anything against the other characters, but I've always played favorites.

And for the record, I wouldn't do with me calling them stupid, I was calling their reasonsfor hating him stupid and hypocritical.
Sounds a bit like hair-splitting, but fair enough.
I care because I like FlashWhat the fandom thinks of Flash isn't relevant to how you feel about him; you neither have to justify liking him nor build him up in the eyes of others. To me, it looks as though you constructed an argument on top of an emotional foundation and then behaved, in subsequent posts, as though it were bulletproof. But I assume you were looking for validation rather than debate (as people are wont to do).
he has just as much potential as any "fanon-fueled BG ponies" to be made interestingI thought you already found him interesting. Isn't that enough?
They treat his character like he’s a main character who is taking up tons of screen timeBut, in order for him to receive further development, he'll take up more screen time as a consequence. Would that, then, render the complaints valid? What if that further development isn't well-received? Hell, what if YOU don't like that further development? You can't change everyone's minds and opinions, and, even if you could, there's no guarantee that Flash will get the care and attention you think he deserves. I'm not personally invested enough in the guy to even want to see that development; he just didn't make a good enough first impression.
But that's me, and my impression of him shouldn't matter to you.
How are you feeling?

Pissed the fuck off. I don't like being pissed off, and that, in and of itself, kind of makes me even more pissed off.
