  1. Before Badaboom Box was able to get a response from her pegasus companion, her inquiry was cut short by a loud, dark, evil sort of laughter accompanied by a shaking surface. Boom turned around to see a much taller, slender version of the deceased Princess of Peace hovering ominously above. In a twisted tone the bat winged Alicorn announced her presence and poked at Badaboom's ignorance. Then in the midst of her questioning monologue Blight siezed the entirety of Boom's face with one hoof and brushed her second along the smaller vampire's cheek. Elaborating on the situation Blight thundered her position as "Queen of Vampires." Next came a sudden blur of motion as Badaboom was thrown maliciously down into the stone floor of the tower, with enough force to break the surface. The rest of Blight's speech aimed towards Atlas was muffled by stone and hoof as Boom was held firmly in place seemingly effortlessly. Then as the newly appointed queen stepped back in a combat ready position, Badaboom Box lifted herself groggily up back onto her hooves. Rubbing the back of her head with one she grumbled. "I was so generous towards you...Lightning. This is how you repay my kindness?" Shaking her head back into focus Badaboom locked crimson eyes with Blight. "Okay, if this is the way ya want it..." Then lifting her front hoof up her signature BoomBox appeared under it ready to be switched on as it was. Not nearly as loud or obnoxious as usual but it's dark beat really set the mood, made even more epic in combination to the scattered lightning strikes, and crashes of thunder. "Then let's just see what made your former self so on edge. Even during her time of death...Also rather sad to think that I kinda liked the idea of having a sister." Badaboom motioned with a hoof in a 'bring it on' type manner, sarcastic as ever. Completely unaware of the true dangers she was putting herself in unknowing of the skills that Blight may be holding.
  2. Princess Badaboom watched as Atlas delivered the outraged wolf a few unexpected shots. However Seth was resilient as ever and took the blows well, quickly countering by latching his fangs onto the throat of the vampiric Atlas. The canine made his way towards the edge of the tower preparing to throw his target over the side. Yet before he was able to preform the task Atlas took the leap preemptively taking the wolf along with him. The struggle continued between the two, prompting a disapproving sigh from Boom, who had her attention drawn from the presumed dead princess of peace. "Really now? Truly greatful for your dedication, Atlas. As well as your honestly, Seth." Badaboom began as she took a pace towards the hovering pair. With a flash of light from her horn the two combatants where transported away from one another. Atlas was returned to the tower's top, as Seth was placed safely at the new dark castle's base. "Don't let me hear that I'm not a merciful individual!" she called in a voice powerful enough to reach the wolf's ears. Badaboom then continued to walk to the very edge of the tower and cast her sight down to the growing gate way that connected Tartarus to Equestria. "Atlas, you've proven that you are a true friend indeed. I'm certain that your feeling confused at the moment, but I'll have you know...you've chosen the right option." As the seal stopped shifting the nexus would soon allow the vampires to again step hoof onto the plane of the living, Badaboom Box again addressed the Pegasus. "Our siblings will soon walk umongst us, and will need proper guidance. A terribly overwhelming responsibility for one, even for one of my newly given stature. How feel you on being a General of sorts?" she inquired, still unaware of Lightning Bliss's progressing transformation into that of, Blight.
  3. Badaboom held an emotionless expression as her new horn glowed with a bubbling red magic, that lingered over one of the torn leftovers of her shirt. She had used levataion magic before, but never at this level of precision. Easily floating the red ribbon of fabric up behind her head she began to tie the back of her mane up in a physic defying vertical ponytail. "Oh Atlas. I haven't the slightest. Figured I'd just...wing it." The vampire princess laughed as she gave her new appendages a flap. "Of course I know what I'm doing, hahaha. I'm ushering in a new era of chaos, freedom, and peace. At least, for our kind." Boom added shooting the bristling wolf a nonchalant glare. With her mane all bound up Badaboom floated up and over the sacrificial table where Lightning Bliss lay dead. The royal vampiric mare hovered a moment looking down at the living pair in the room. "Now witness the conclusion of this story long for told, as I awaken our race of old!" As she landed on the opposing side of the table, Boom smiled wickedly pulling out her BoomBox from the ground seemingly out of nothing. However Boom hadn't yet turned it on, rather she stood vertically with her left rear hoof resting on top of the musical device. Then in a twisted royal Equestrian voice she called. "For those imprisoned umongst flame and clay! Heed my words, rise and obey! Trek unto the mortal door! Break free of your shackles, and rule once more!" A bone rattling rumble echoed throughout the ruins as stone ceiling fell, walls shifted, and the floor began to rise. At a much more rapid speed than one would expect the ruins reshaped themselves stretching upward towards the sky, taking the shape of an obvious castle. Red, black, orange, purple, and yellow magic all spiraled around the manifesting palace. Upon completion Badaboom, Atlas, Seth, and the still motionless Lightning Bliss were stories above the ground on top of a flat open tower that overlooked the land. The BloodMoon seemed touchably close, and demanded Boom's attention looking up to it a devious smile came over her face. She lifted off the floor and hovered a good distance above the rest, as a terrifying shreak of anger and anticipation cried out into the night, far below at the castle's base. There a red circle of magical energy began to take shape as ancient text and seals appeared, broke, shifted, and grew. Below the soil Boom could feel the restless souls of her vampire brothers, sisters, and followers eagerly making there way to the surface. Lowering her gaze back down to Atlas her smile grew, accompanied by a soft giggle of delight, and grew again into a demented laughter once she put her sights on the wolf. "So then where will you stand?" she questioned the pair at a much more reasonable yet equally threatening level.
  4. As the last bit of Lightning's life had been drained away, Badaboom took a few paces back. Her eyes closed as she felt a new found energy building within her. Mild at first, but it continued to grow rapidly and unyeilding, as if the surge of magical properties didn't have limit. The seer force that she could feel dwarfed that of any unicorn she had fed on in the past, and it wasn't long until it went to her head. The vampiric mare began the start of an escalating maniacal laugh of victory. With the red light of the BloodMoon pouring down over her vertical form Badaboom continued to revel in her increasing power. That was until it came to a sudden halt. The voice of a familiar wolf stated the obvious from behind, and she prepared to turn with a witty remark. However she found herself frozen in place. The Alicorn magic within her began to twist and manefest in unexpected ways. First came a sharp pain in Badaboom's back. A red glow over took the entirety of her eyes, then accompanied by a cry of anguish, as a pair of rather large bat-like wings stretched out from her shoulders. Tearing out of her fur and tattered red hoodie Badaboom Box dropped back to all fours panting heavily. However she wasn't yet done as the red glow intensified and converged to her forehead where a small pointed bump began to protrude. Another involuntary shriek of pain escaped her as the spike soon extended out into a full horn. Badaboom giggled maliciously through her clenched, elongated teeth as she again felt more magical energies overtake her body. Stomping one front hoof with a metallic clang, the long sleeve of her shirt suddenly exploded in mere fragments of torn fabric. A shimmering black horse shoe was now firmly attached to the bottom of her right hoof. Then like a snake a equally dark chain wrapped up her leg and stopped just below her shoulder where it connected to a metal band. Repeating the process with the same accessory for her left hoof, Badaboom lifted her still burning eyes to those of both Atlas and Seth. Bucking both her rear hooves up behind her similar black shoes took their place on Badaboom however rather than chains slithering down her hind legs they were black leather straps. Then with a thunderous BWAHHM her lime green Cutie Mark became a glowing red as darker red accents ran out of the speaker like those of blood streaks. Her four hooves again firmly on the stone floor, the whites of Badaboom's eyes again visible, yet her iris held the ominous glow.
  5. As the light began to pour onto Lightning Bliss, Boom completely missed the first call of Atlas, even though his voice echoed across the walls. Anxiety pulsed through Boom's egar body, made obvious by her flailing tail and fixated gaze. The glow of the BloodMoon soon enveloped the entire form of the Alicorn princess. Badaboom leant in with a uncontrollable urge her fangs grazing Bliss's neck, when Atlas called again, this time quieter but close enough to pull Boom's attention away. Turning to face the pegasus, Boom noted the red glow of his eyes. "Oh Atlas! Thank you friend for keeping that stubborn wolf out of the way. Your here just in time to watch destiny come to fruition. I'm glad your apart of it." After her brief acknowledgment, Badaboom returned to her position over Lightning Bliss as she muttered about her mortality. "Oh? But you shall, for the greater good of my repressed race...you will die." Badaboom whispered the last phrase just before pressing the tips of her fangs through the Alicorn's neck...
  6. Even though it wasn't yet visable from the chamber, the moment the red Moon appeared in the sky Badaboom could feel it's presence. Her body was filled with an indescribable power, assuming it was an ancient precaution to give her the upper hand to perform the deed, she laughed a little to herself. Silent at first but it grew a bit maniacal when Lightning Bliss muttered something. The Alicorn princess then rolled on her side, a sign that she too had given up to destiny. Boom herself lingered near the alter her firey eyes moving from her prey to the ceiling. As the BloodMoon continued to rise, it's red glow became more and more intense. Soon it's light would shine down through the gap above, and Badaboom would be given untold powers to reshape the world again. Time drew near, as Badaboom took a glance towards the entrance of the chamber, expecting a persistant spectator, but when the coast was confirmed clear she again loomed over Lightning Bliss. Her already prominent fangs growing in preparation.
  7. Deep within the underground caverns and twisted passageways, Badaboom eventually found an open, strangely lit room. The visable sections of the walls seemed littered with ancient texts and depictions. Towards the rear center of the opened space was an alter of some sort. It didn't take a genius to decipher that it was indeed ment to be used in a sacrificial ritual. Badaboom's conscious was nearly completely absent as she rested Lightning Bliss's body on the large stone slab that made up the center piece of the elaborate structure. Looking over the back walls it was now clear (as if it wasn't before) to her, that Boom's destiny led her to this place, on this night, for the one deed she tried so desperately to deny. However now, in this frame of mind, it seemed as if nothing else in the world mattered. Badaboom possessed every nessacery part to fulfill this long awaited prophecy, all that was left, was to wait. Wait for the appropriate time when the BloodMoon hovered in the sky.
  8. Badaboom felt a rage building up inside her, almost like a different pony altogether. This feeling only continued to grow as Lightning Bliss carried on her plee. The Alicorn's words cut into Boom's patience which was usually under control, but since her return to the Everfree Forest she felt a constant slip of it. As Blissy carried on about how peaceful the vampire race had been in the past, but not showing any consideration for Boom's feelings she finally snapped. "Peaceful yes! And have I not shown anything but kindness and paitence towards you!?! I even risked my own soul for you just trying to help rid you of this illness! Badaboom huffed her breath in anger. Without a way to describe it, Badaboom felt an urge to harm the Alicorn princess. To be the monster she was labled. "I can see clearly...more so than I have in a very long time..." the vampiric mare lowered her burning red eyes to the floor boards below her hooves. "I'll show you the same appreciation you've gave me..." Again Badaboom Box lifted her line of sight to be back on Lightning Bliss. "None..at...all." The vampire pony suddenly swung a hard, unprovoked, hoof to the side of Lightning Bliss's head, to stop her from ranting about the dangers of herself. Maybe it was just her Pride getting the best of her, but the strange compelling sensation to fulfill the prophecy became to much for Badaboom to handle, as she finally gave in, lifting Lightning Bliss onto her back and exiting her home. With just instincts telling her where to go Badaboom Box continued through the dark forest taking winding paths through the shadows until she came to the old, broken down, moss covered, untouched, stone formation hidden among the trees. With just a few oddly marked stones and pillars visible, Badaboom found a flight of equally decayed, decending set of stairs. She proceeded to head down them into the darkness, Lightning Bliss still in tow.
  9. Badaboom was caught of guard by the sudden pulse of magical energy that forced her out of Lightning Bliss's mind, and back into her own body within her living room. The mare had to shake the strange sensation of being bounced back into the real world. Boom then shifted to the side as the Alicorn coughed up a dangerous amount of fluid, luckily not getting any of the substance on her. However the grey vampiric mare was again taken back when the zebra decided to take a protective position between Lightning Bliss and Boom. "I thought you were one to understand me, Zecora." Badaboom sighed, slightly disappointed in the zebra's actions. Before Boom was able to elaborate her entire shack was shook by the thunderous voice of Lightning Bliss demanding the zebra again to leave. Then without surprise to Boom Zecora obeyed, though it was a bit startling to hear the princess shout in such a way. After watching Zecora flee the property, Boom noticed that Blissy was now looking back at her. Shaking her head Badaboom gritted her teeth, her elongated canine fangs growing more prominent. "What comes next?" The grey made repeated again in a voice of disapproval. Flashes of long ago shrowded Badaboom's mind for a moment. "You know? I really didn't want things to end up like this...I thought we could all be friends..but now I see that you will just never see me as such. Even someone who tried to kill me, who hated me with an unnecessary grudge learned to look past what I am, to learn who I am." Badaboom began a speech as she again began to close in on Lightning Bliss until she was standing right over her. "Of course that only happened after I had the worries of life taken from him, and even after the incident he was able to call me friend...In short..If this world isn't going to accept me..." Boom knelt down to be hovering next to Bliss's over sized ear. "I'll teach it to fear me, instead."
  10. "Truthfully I'm not sure how I got here. Just kinda went in on a whim, ya know? Your probably right though." Badaboom responded to the standing Alicorn, with little emotion outside of sarcasm displayed in her voice. "Your one to talk as well, Miss tall and mighty...So sad to see that the self proclaimed ruler of my race can't seem to keep a lowly little intruder, like myself outta your head." The mare continued her retort taking a step closer. However Blight seemed a little too prepared for this and quickly responded with another short rant. Again in regards to the prophocy, and how she and the wolf, Lust, would be the ones to come out on top. "Oh snap! That's tonight?" Badaboom took a couple paces back in false surprise. "Well then, I suppose I should quit wasting time, and prove to you that I am destined to be the Princess of the BloodMoon! Boom's voice was dark and echoing as she cut in Blight's maniacal laughter giving her first true interest towards completeing the prophecy. Then as Lightning Bliss continued to sob on the invisable ground, Lust decided to cut in. "Hey now, getting bored so easily? the fun's getting close to the start. No time to be worrying about some poetic zebra." Boom spoke out again in a mix matched voice. Her attention then fell onto Lightning Bliss once more as the Alicorn princess begged for Zecora's safty, especially when she used Boom's name in particular. "Still don't trust me, huh? After I came all the way in here to try and save ya. Which makes me wonder...I came in to try and kick the cause of your current illness out, but what would happen...if I pulled you out instead?" Badaboom questioned closing in on Blissy.
  11. Badaboom held her devious grin as her fangs extended menacingly. "I plan to get to the bottom of this, by infiltrating her mind. All and all swing, hit or miss, But we're running low on time. Now I ain't too sure how all this'll work out, However I'll try my best to help her fight. Lightning Bliss needs some guidance no doubt, And as a bonus, I may get to meet this Blight." The mare answered in a flurry of ryhmes, much like the zebra had been speaking, but at a quicker pace. Then before Zecora had a chance to object, Boom attempted to mind meld with the Alicorn Princess. If she was a vampire it should be possible, Badaboom thought to herself, but honestly the vampire pony didn't have much experience in this particular field. Yet after a quick mental conflict Boom was able to break Lightning Bliss's mental barrier, and just following her own body fell limp to the wooden floor of her shack. -------------------------------- Now in the void of the Alicorn Princess's subconscious, Badaboom felt a strange sickly sensation. Almost a complete lack of Peace that Blissy herself represented. If this odd feeling of dispare wasn't bad enough, Boom was also able to feel the presence of multiple souls within the one mind of Lightning Bliss. Though it seemed as if she wasn't going anywhere, Badaboom Box knew she was delving deeper. Badaboom progressed further into the void feeling progressively worse regarding her own mental stability, but held firm. Until she could see them, familiar figures, all three. One on the invisible ground clearly Lightning Bliss, and another that was shockingly similar. Who Boom assumed was the darker half of Lightning Bliss, the one she knew only as, Blight. Standing next to the upright bat winged Alicorn, was the large shape of the vampiric form of Seth, Lust. Badaboom then made her presence known by landing down a good distance away, yet in plain sight, but hesitated towards being the one to start conversation. "Well, well, if this isn't an unwelcomed surprise. Just can't get away from ya, can I? Lust?" Boom questioned rhetorically. "Truly gotta say I didn't expect to see you here at all. So have you been the one to put Blissy in her, sad, current state? Or was it...?" Badaboom trailed off scrolling her sight over to the tall, slender, form of the vampiric Alicorn.
  12. 'Not another one,' Badaboom sighed mentally. "Look, I know how the story goes. I've been hearing it nonstop since a certain object fell unknowingly into the wrong hands." The mare responded to Zecora in an obvious tone of annoyance, but her crinkled expression loosened when the zebra changed the subject to the peace between her kind and that of the vampiric race. Zecora's final question made Boom smile maliciously. Slowly she pressed in on the pair. "Well first things first." Her tone dark with wicked intent. "We've gotta try and get Blissy back on her hooves right?" Badaboom continued innocently, followed by a laugh that she couldn't hold back. Once Boom was right next to the weakened Princess she hovered above her. Though Boom's eyes still held the vampiric red glow, there was no bloodlust behind them. "I've got an idea that just might help her out. However it'd be very dangerous to try, but if you don't have any plans what other choice do we got?" Badaboom asked stepping a couple paces back to ease the zebra's worries, and or suspicions.
  13. The inside of Boom's shack was consisted up of just four rooms. The entry way immediately blended into a type of living space with a couch, that the zebra waisted no time in laying Lightning Bliss upon, with a small coffee table in front of it, and an end table off the left arm. Of course there was also an unnecessarily large stereo system that took up a magority of the remaining space. There was also a small kitchen that from looks alone made it apparent it wasn't used much. Towards the back of her home was two other doors, both however were closed. One being the bathroom and the other was Badaboom's own room. Aside from assorted music records and CDs there wasn't much decoration about the mare's home. "The name's Boom. Be sure to remember it, you'll be hearing it a lot." Badaboom replied to Zecora. "I know of Seth because he had been chasing me all around Equestria, never figured he'd come this far though. That wolf is just too determined over some stupid prophecy. He thinks that he's lord of the vampires, or at least that he will be." Badaboom added before moving closer to the pair. Not knowing what kind of assistance she'd be able to offer Boom stood a moment overlooking the seemingly unconscious Alicorn Princess. It's not a sickness, not a physical one at least. Her darker half is influencing her mind so much that the strain of holding her in check is causing the Princess Lightning Bliss too much stress.' Badaboom could hear herself inform, however that didn't much help in giving away to suppress Blissy's condition. "Whatcha want me to do, zebra?" Boom asked in away that, to her was normal, but the subliminal tone hid a dark intent.
  14. Standing with a washed over awkward feeling Badaboom watched as Atlas suddenly went skyward leaving her last question unanswered. It wasn't to troubling though as a plan had been set to meet up in the morning. As a specific place or time was left unknown she just figured that she and Atlas would meet up where the mare stood now. Without any other need in Ponyville at the given time Badaboom started her journey home. Once she reached the edge of the dark forest her mind began to wander back to the screams of the slaughtered villager's many years ago. She held the images in the front of her thought process until a strange voice called from the side. "Wicked rhyme, that you must know? Even if, it were unintentional." She replied humorously turning her still red eyes to see a zebra. The Alicorn on her back drew even more attention, it was Lightning Bliss. "Oh! You must be the good hooves that Atlas mentioned?" Badaboom assumed. It was at that moment that the zebra's inquiry finally sank in. "Hunted? Wouldn't happen to be a wolf that's chasing you would it? You know what it doesn't matter, follow me." Boom offered moving through the woods in an awkward pattern as to spread her scent about. Leading the way Badaboom Box escorted the Alicorn carrying zebra to a small house built seemingly randomly umoung the trees. Opening her front door Boom waved the stranger inside. "Hurry up inside. Seth hasn't really made a habit out of giving much time whilst in persute." The mare added unknowingly that the wolf was preoccupied with her Pegasus friend.
  15. Badaboom Box laughed a bit at Atlas's first statement. "That wolf thought he had me, but I gave him the slip. I didn't do much of anything to him though, definitely didn't take his life. Thanks for worrying about me." She gave a quick rundown leaving out specifics, as truthfully they didn't seem important. Boom also avoided going into much more detail regarding Lightning Bliss either. Atlas took her some place safe, what reason did Boom have not to believe him. However she did feel an uneasy sensation of dissatisfaction in losing her so quickly. "Actually my place is in the Everfree Forest, thought I mentioned that." Badaboom corrected her friend. Initianally Boom did think it better to stick together, but after her walk from Canterlot she didn't believe it'd be the wise choice. She felt darker and not fully in control, it seemed being away from civilization would prove best. "So if ya wanted to follow me there that's cool. Otherwise I'll catch back up with ya in the morning." She gave her answer as she started turning away. Atlas though gave one more strange statement in the form of a question. "Deal?" She repeated back at him.
  16. Pressing past both familiar and stranger ponies alike, it wasn't long after her arrival into Ponyville that Badaboom caught sight of her friend across the way. Trotting up to him she called while still a bit a ways. There wasn't much need to keep a low profile here in the 'Kingdom of Friendship.' However Boom was unaware that her eyes shown red. Should she have noticed it would strike her as strange, being she was usually in complete control of such things. Once at the Pegasus's side, "Ayo, Atlas! You've seemed to make it here fine. Good too cause, haha, I didn't even catch where you lived. As ya can see, I've kept up. Showed that wolf pup a thing or two as well, haha." Badaboom started, but couldn't help her glowing eyes from wandering around the surrounding area, of the surprisingly, not so crowded streets. "So uh, where's Lightning Bliss?" The mare questioned, with a peculiar unnoticed echo in her voice upon mentioning the Alicorn's name.
  17. My OC Badaboom Box is from her own little place in the Everfree Forest, unfazed by the dangers there, as she's a Vampire. Matomi Bell, who is yet to make an appearance of any form is from Tartarus, but lives with Boom.
  18. Surprising how quickly the pesterance of her memory had let up. Boom was still dwelling on it, but at least she wasn't lost in it any longer. She had been back on the move for awhile now, growing closer to her destination. Boom hadn't taken the normal route, and thusly avoided both Zecora's hut as well as her own home. Just a few more minutes and she'd be outside of the forest near Ponyville. Badaboom hadn't stopped until she reached the Everfree's edge, then she had a sudden realization that she didn't know where Atlas had lived. She contemplated taking a deture to Vinyl's place, but decided against it, the mare probably wasn't home anyway. Instead Boom pressed casually towards the town.
  19. Horrible memories of the event stated to her minutes ago continued to come in waves, during Badaboom's trek through one of Equestria's most intimidating place. The faces and sounds of those who she hurt flowed all to vividly. "Why did I have to remind myself of that time?" Boom questioned out loud trying to shake the thoughts away again, but with each attempt, they only grew more insistent with a stronger sense of realism to the point it was as if she were reliving that night. -------------------------------------- It was countless years ago. An angry hoard of mixed pony races chased Boom through a less frighting forest, threatening her with fire and assorted weaponry. The young vampiric made had chosen a suitable Unicorn target, but was a bit too careless in her method of attack, that sparked an entire village's inhabitants to respond accordingly. Badaboom managed to outrun the mob for a time, but was eventually captured and subdued by the mass. Back in the nameless town she was tied to a post where her captures took turns assulting her relentlessly with blades, magic, and fire. None of which fatal, but all equallay painful. Accompanied by hurtful slurs and pure hatred Boom slowly succame to her natural responses. Without warning amongst her cries of pain Badaboom managed to use her prey's own magic to unleash her bindings. The closest of the village's population quickly fell to her swift magically created blades, cutting the first row down effortlessly. Even before any pony could react, Badaboom lunged forth sinking her fangs into a Pegasus's neck, draining his life in record time. Eyes bloodshot and glowing the mare dropped the body moving quickly to the next, and the next, next...and the one following. By this time there was no turning back. The terrified remaining ponies scattered with unforgiving cries of panic. Not showing any remorse and lost in a BloodRage, Badaboom sank into her shadow appearing just next to the furthest. Catching this first mare off guard, Boom twisted her neck effortlessly. ---------------------------------------- Back in reality her memory cut short, but Boom was now fixated on that incident, and knew the remainder that gradually kept eeking it's way to the front of her thought process, before repeating all over again. "Why? Why am I remembering this?" She nearly shouted into the air around her. "I told you...you must be prepared for what's to come. You've been trying to live as an Earth Pony for too long...It's time to return to who you once were...Who you really are." Badaboom Box's own voice gave the reply, before again growing silent, and was replaced by the replay of her massacure. The most horrifying part, was with each cycle, Badaboom herself felt as though she was becoming more and more relaxed with the events of that evening. Almost to the point where she could say she was enjoying it. Needing another break, Boom crouched in an opening between trees. Where she let the memory run it's course, before finally just subsiding.
  20. Badaboom Box had made it unstopped from the city limits, and was now on her way to Ponyville. She sighed taking a way from the main road, as a thought crossed her mind. She had left her headphones back with Seth. To any other pony this loss would seem absurd, but was quite a damper on Boom's spirits. Maybe she could get another pair from Vinyl Scratch while in Ponyville. Night time was drawing closer and Boom felt a strange sensation in the back of her mind, slowly becoming more and more prominent. It was the same as her dream from earlier, her seemingly darker impulse was for some reason becoming stronger. After a couple more minutes of trotting Boom stopped before the entrance to the Everfree Forest where she took a seat near one of the large trees. Taking in a deep breath the mare attempted to clear her head, for a moment it seemed to work, but then- "Nice show there, been a while since you utilized the Shadow Jump" Boom headed her own voice echo around her. "Wasn't since the last time you let yourself go against that angry mob. You remember that incident don't ya?" How could she not? It was the day that Badaboom decided to turn her life around, and live a relatively normal life as an Earth Pony. With another sigh she made her ways through the darkening woods, it would still be quite awhile until she'd reach her destination.
  21. Badaboom watched the wolf's tantrum in attempt to snag her in any type of assault. Standing at the ready as List managed to pull himself up right she relaxed a bit as her for had fallen back to the ground. Noticing his eyes change just before seemingly going unconscious, Boom frowned. "I'm sorry, Seth. That must've been hard on ya." Her voice was sincere as her own eyes returned to their brilliant lime hue. She could tell that his bloodlust was hilted, but still it would be far to risky to assist the wolf in anyway. Looking him in the eyes once more, Boom smiled, only very weakly. "Good ta see yer still in there, though. Try to hold on to it." She recommended before turning away leaving the streets as quickly as possible, before a passerby could happen to appear. Realistically Boom was surprised no pony had. As she made her way from the scean she looked back to the house that Atlas had brought her. A proper thank you would have to wait, though explainations could go without. Boom knew that levatation would be a fast way of travel she also was all to aware of the attention it would grab. A full gallop was noticeable enough, as she held pace towards the outskirts of Canterlot. Atlas and Lightning Bliss were for sure far enough ahead that they wouldn't regroup until they met up in Ponyville. Badaboom could try to converse through the mind, but there was a slim chance that Lust would be able to listen in on their location.
  22. Reflecting on Atlas's words of luck Badaboom definitely felt as though she'd need it. Hovering off the ground she watched Lust crack his dislocated jaw back into place nearly effortlessly. The wolf immediately made a second lunge taking Boom out of the air, the mare hadn't noticed the scratch on her leg. Pressing the canine's dangerous fangs away with her hooves she grew a wicked smile as Lust threatend her blood. "Your one to talk!" She shouted back in reference to he labeling her own blood as tainted. Badaboom could feel the wolf struggling to inch his fangs closer to her throat. Suddenly she sparked an idea that might by her sometime, if not it would be better than nothing. "Let's see how ya handle this!" She shouted letting her grip loose for a moment. However in that same instant she managed to place her headphones over her opponent's ears, cranking them on to volumes that rivaled the physic defying feat she preformed at the air port. If the relentless wubs didn't slow Lust down, Badaboom also managed to sink into her own shadow pulling the wolf halfway into the ground along with her. Finally she finished by leaping out of Seth's shadow from between his hind haunches. So that she was standing behind him, as Lust himself was still shoved halfway into the earth. Badaboom inched back awaiting to observe how her Shadow Jumping ability had faired against the wolf. This may be her only opportunity to flee, she only hoped that Lust hadn't mastered the same Vampiric technique.
  23. As Atlas swept Lightning Bliss away, Badaboom held her gaze on Lust who barked his anger towards the fleeing Pegasus. His attention wasn't held on his highjacked prize for long, however, as he pit his sights on Boom. Unlike last time where the speed of his assault was underestimated, Badaboom was prepared for her opponent. The lowered stance signaled preparation for a lunging strike. Badaboom rotated her body and lifted with her back hooves in attempt to capture the leaping canine under the jaw with a buck counter action of her own. Immediately following she hovered a couple feet off the ground turning to observe Lust's next move while adding in a comment of her own. "Oh, I've got my ways to survive as you'll soon see." Boom responded with a clear smugness in her tone. Her red eyes burning with anticipation, she truthfully hadn't thought any of this through. Especially now that Lust was stalking them like prey. Boom figured she'd just try to buy time for Atlas to take Lighting Bliss and himself out of immediate dangers way.
  24. Playing Destiny on the X-Box 360. Such a great game, I wasn't planning on getting it, but did anyway. Picked it up at GameStop on the release day, and got the special sparrow, even though I didn't pre-order it. My roommate is unfortunately also highly addicted to this game, so I haven't gotten much play time in yet.
  25. "As if," Badaboom snidely retorted to the wolf's most recent staments. Not moving from her position she waved a hoof in a passive gesture. "You really think that your destined to rule over Vampires, and you base this assumption on that of a myth? I think you've been spending to much time with Blissy there. 'Bout time you handed her off to some pony who won't continue to fill her head with such obsurd sentiments." Boom continued to pester. Noting that the Alicorn had been slowly making her away from the group, Boom was more or less buying time for the other mare. Though it seemed that she wasn't quite cut out for it, she had managed to teleport once already today. That left a little hope that she could manage it again. "So, you wanna rule all vampires, good luck getting these two ta follow yer lead." Badaboom Box indicated to herself and Atlas. "And in case yer thick head can't grasp it...I'm telling ya that we ain't afraid of you. Sure you could try and kill us..." Boom's eyes suddenly flicked red, and her tone again darkened. "But I promise you, ya won't like the results."
