    The instrumentals are really good, and the chorus has some vocal changes, but those need to transfer over to the verses as well. The main bulk of the words stay at a really steady tone that makes the song kinda fall flat. It's a really good effort, though.

    Looks like that's exactly what you're doing. Either way, it doesn't matter. The term is out there, and it's gonna be the first line of attack if someone wants to be critical about you liking the colorful horse show, regardless of if you do or not, so who cares?
