  1. Mine would be Star Wars: A New Hope. Between the bad writing, padding/irrelevant scenes (Jawas have nothing to do with the plot whatsoever and just bloat the run time), the fact that George Lucas couldn't (and still can't, judging by the prequels) write worth his life, unlikable characters (seriously, Han and Luke were extremely unlikable characters, before Luke's much-needed character development), it's no wonder why I never liked the film to begin with. The second half is a lot better than the maligned, convoluted mess that is the first half. Even when I was younger, I never cared for the movie. Thank goodness for the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, because it shows that Lucas is better off as a consultant and not a writer/director.

I'll give credit where it's due: the movie is far better than the Famicom video game that was very loosely based on this game. That is a whole other can of worms...

  2. To me, there's no such thing about the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Amazing graphics and music don't hide the fact that it has some of the eye-rolling storyline changes since a George Lucas re-release and padded it with pointless filler. On that note...

What happened between the Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith? Was there a movie that took place? While I do acknowledge the Clone Wars exists, it's the show and not the movie.

  3. Here's a new one I need to add: Back to the Future 2 & 3. Yes, they made a video game out of two great movies and merged it into one. I never completed it because of one thing: You have to beat Part 2 in one sitting and it involves a collectathon between three different time periods. Oh yeah, there are artifacts between those time periods that belong to another that you win by playing some of the worst minigames I have ever played. Every time you time travel, you run the risk of seeing a clone and touching him kills you instantly, just like every enemy in the game. Combine that with awful controls, passable music with awful sound effects and enemies that seem to be ripped off of Super Mario Bros. and you can see why I never finished this travesty.

Part 3 is shorter but you guessed it, more collecting minigames. It's no wonder why LJN got a bad name as a publisher. Beam Software deserves quite a bit of criticism because of how the game turned out.

  4. Here's a Fast Money segment where two people end up giving stupid answers:

Some "highlights": "Name an animal with three letters in its name (i.e. rat, dog, cat, bat)" "Frog" "Name something that comes in a summer storm?" "Snow" (what the hell?! How does snow come in the middle of the summer in most parts of the world?) The only coherent answer the first family member got was saying ice was something inside of a refrigerator, which some models don't have a freezer door.

  5. Ricardo Irving's voice "acting" from Resident Evil 5 is the epitome of cringe-worthy awfulness. Where the hell did they get his English voice actor from? Off the streets or something? It certainly seems like it. Imagine some guy with a bad New Jersey accent with the most irritating voice ever and you get Irving from RE5.

  6. Been playing for over a month now and I'm having a lot of fun so far. I recently got to three stars on my island and got the shop upgrade. Now it's time to figure out other things to get to four stars but I'm not going to rush through it. There's a lot of things I want to finish before getting to a four-star island.

The question is, what upgrades do I want to pursue next?

  7. Oh yes, I am a picky eater. Sometimes I'll eat just about everything, then other times I won't eat anything except some other foods. Granted, I was a lot worse about it several years ago, but I still get a bit picky with food.

  8. Apologies for bringing up an old thread, but yes, I do have social and generalized anxiety. It's not fun to deal with at all because I get worried too much and just go days without talking to people because of the fear of annoying them.

  9. He's trying to say that George Lucas is a bad writer and the writer of the Big Bang Theory is a good writer.

And to be fair, Lucas is a bad writer. A New Hope, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith were all plagued by bad writing because he all wrote those films. Rewatching a New Hope a couple years ago had me cringing with how bad the writing in that film was.

  10. I think from last time I posted, my flaws have been more pronounced than before: Severe social/generalized anxiety, trust issues, extremely low self-esteem and I annoy people too much unintentionally. In addition to my last post, I'm not even sure which one is my biggest flaw out of them.

  11. I'll probably say from what I've seen:

    1) The Empire Strikes Back

    2) Return of the Jedi

    3) Revenge of the Sith

    4) A New Hope

    5) The Phantom Menace

    6) Attack of the Clones

The jury's still out on the sequel movies and the two spinoffs. I need to get around to watching them one day.
