    Her voice echoes in her mind, continuing to tell herself thay everything is going to be fine. Stormlight gulps as sweat falls down from her face, mane getting all frizzy. She prays that after the ride was over, she would still be alive in one piece. Breathing deeply, she tries to calm herself down.
  2. Stormlight
    "THIS IS-AHHH!", Storm screams as her eyes water from the quick moving of the rollercoaster cars. She also hears other ponies screaming their heads off, seeing howuch of a torture this is. Thankfully, this ride was checked and assured that no pony will get in a severe accident whatsoever.

    Storm too, was afraid of rollercoasters, but more specifically the large drop. It made her stomach queasy everytime she expects the result of quickly going straight down. She screams with excitement, and fear...but mostly fear when that long drop downwards, like you were falling down to your death.

    As they walk to the front of the line of a ride, Storm can hear the ponies behind them awing, making her feel like she was superior. They went on the ferris wheel, enjoying the carnival's scenery as they went up then back down. She holds Beta's hoof for the duration of the ride, enjoying her time with him.

    One gaze at those two glistening tickets made Stormlight squeal with happiness. With all those years having to wait in line just to get on a ride for a few minutes really made her feel exhausted and mad. But now, she can see other ponies' look on their faces when they get to cut in front of them, talk about payback.

    The Carnival was the perfect place to celebrate. She always enjoyed frolicking around with her parents, trying out the prize booths and the delicious carnival food to go along. "Me? I LOVE the carnival!", she shouts as they leave the Academy. They fly towards the carnival, seeing it thrive with excitement.

    Storm giggles and kisses him on the cheek. "For my biggest accomplishment, where would you want to to celebrate at, Beta?" Slight tears of joy run down her face as she thinks about what the future holds for both her and Beta, now that her dream came true. She wonders how well it will go.

    Stormy heard Beta trying to cheer her up, and she couldn't pretend anymore, so she hugs him happily. She actually did well on the application and made it into the academy. "I-I can't believe I did it! All of that negative feeling I had inside felt like they disappeared and was replaced with more happiness!", she dances around and stops when she saw somepony look at her.

    Stormlight nods and gives some information of what she can do from before, followed by a promise that she'll always give it her all on everything thrown at her. Storm walks out the office with her head hanging down, sighing to give the afftect that she didn't get approved to join the academy, just to scare Beta.

    "Ahem, I'll see you know, Stormlight,", Spitfire called out. Stormlight gulped feeling nervous all over, but she took a deep breath and went inside her office. She asked her about how she could apply to join the Wonderbolts Academy, followed by a lecture about what is to be seen from pegasi who train in the Academy.

    Stormy smiles and introduces herself as well. Uh-huh! The name's Stormlight, though I just like to be call Stormy. I get what you mean, mares can enjoy arcade games if they just look into it!", she exclaims proudly. Even her mom said that these "things" are only for colts and stallions, but she disagreed. She was much of a tomboy after all.

    "Alrighty then! I'm getting more nervous by the second, but I'm still keeping a positive mindset!", Stormlight answers with honesty. She was indeed scared of how it will turn out, but nevertheless, she will still be happy to know that she did her best. She gets her bag and flies with Beta to the academy.

    Stormy yawns and sees a green pegasus flying closer to her, and realizing that it was Beta. She smiles and waves at him as he lowerd towards the ground. "Good morning, Beta! You wanted to talk about something?", she questions him. The Wonderbolts Academy wasn't that far away, maybe he wanted to come with her.

    Stormlight galloped her way towards the arcade, seeing that there were other ponies who wanted a sample of the new game. She sees the new arcade machine, making her eyes twinkle with excitement. Rubbing her eyes, she still felt tired from stayimg up late just to imagine how it would be like. "Ooh, I assume this was the new installment of the arcade?", she softly asks.

    Yawning and stretching, Storm was still tired from the awesome last night. Anyhow, she got up and ate breakfast, holding the card wondering if she should take the offer since it was the beginning of a new day. With the long thinking, she should first consult with Beta before doing anything that she'll regret. She went outside and looks up at the sun.

    She always enjoyed having dreams that could possibly become a reality once the time comes. Though, the present is called that for a reason, for no ponybwill ever know what awaits them...or Stormy and Beta, to be specific. Stormy doesn't notice she has been moving around the bed.

    Her dreams played on like a movie, they always had to end, making you forget what you dreamt of when you wake up. During the rest of the night, it was complete darkness that occupied her mind, until something interesting came up; wedding day! She was total control and it felt so realistic.

    Storm blushes and softly responds, "I love you too Beta, good night,". She slowly but carefully flies up towards her bed and plops down, quickly falling to sleep once her face touched the pillow. Tonight, she dreamt of her as a Wonderbolt. Soaring thorugh the skies along with the other ponies. She also sees Beta in her dream, cheering her on, making her smile.

    "Aw man, that was an amazing party, Pinkie. Thanks a lot!" Stormlight yawns and can tell her eyes are twitching. Sighing, she moves around to keep her awake until she could lay on her soft, fluffly bed. She helped cleaning up the place until she almost fell asleep standing.

    With a nod, she goes with Beta and had a fun time with just the two of them spending time together at the party. A balloon shaped like heart flew past them, and sees that Pinkie was entertaining the guests by balancing on her colorful bouncy ball while juggling smaller balls with her nose. Storm smiles and stays close to him.
  22. Stormlight
    "Wow, thanks for the congrats guys! If I do become a Wonderbolt, you'll all be invited to a performance, by yours truly, right here in Ponyville! ", she yells out dreaming of becoming a Wonderbolt. The fellow fans of them cheered with excitement from her little suggestion. Storm wonders how she would look like in their blue uniforms.

    Stormlight always loved Pinkie's parties, and having one that is about her accomplishment was a total plus. She was enjoying herself throughout the amazing party, better yet with her coltfriend that was always there for her. Thinking about the offer, she examines and looks over the details on the card Spitfire gave her. "Wonderbolts Academy, huh? This is sweet!", she exclaims giggling while eating a cupcake.

    Upon hearing Beta's speech, she turns a bright shade of pink when blushing. She bows at everypony, and hugs him in front of the large audience. "Aw, I love you too Beta, I wouldn't know what to do without you in my life," she repsonds to him and the microphone echoing what she said from the speakers.

    Stormy grabs the card with comfidence. Wow, she actually got reccomended to join the Wonderbolts! Her self-esteem must have increased immensely from that stunning performance. With a nod she puts on her saddle bag and placed the card inside securely. She looks at them, then at Beta smiling cheerfully.
