  1. Fracture silent listens to the conversation while Sinusoid, void of morals at this point and breathing heavily, synthesizes more creative and torturous methods of revenge. Stuck on how the pony that Fear brutally killed somehow managed to repiece herself, he turns around, walks to the group that had formed, and asks with unpresidented anger in his voice, without waiting for anyone to finish talking, "How did that pony survive and vanish?"
  2. Sinusoid had flinched and backed away several times during the attack, terrified. He was also splashed with blood, but didn't care much at that point because his coat was already bloodstained. Examining the damage to Scare, he becomes seriously worried. Hearing the cries of pain after the shattered glass, Fracture takes a random sword from his pile and runs outside. He looks around and drops his sword. While he is relieved to see Sinusoid, he does not give much acknowlegement as he walks over to him, asking, "What happened?" "This pony was invisible, and slashed Scare in her back, then was killed by Fear, after her legs were broken and wings ripped off." "That's brutal." "And Scare was slashed in a way that usually cuts tge spinal cord, causing paralysis... That's very bad..." "I see that you brought the torture gun; that evil pony should have been left alive after her wings were ripped off so that you could have truly punished her." Sinusoid stops, allowing for his rage to dissipate so that he can talk; "I WILL MAKE ALL OF THOSE EVIL PONIES SUFFER AT THE WRATH OF MY SULFURIC ACID CANNON."
  3. Fracture is standing at random places in the museum, unsure of what to do, still wondering where Sinusoid is, and perplexed that no one wanted to take any weapons from the pile of those that he had collected from the guard post. "I have... all of these, and... you're free to use them... Nevermind; I don't really care." Sinusoid begins to trot as he nears the museum, then stops, confused at why Scare, Banner, and Dax are not moving. "What... What is everyone doing?"
  4. After punching the tree for a while, Sinusoid begins to walk to the museum, where he assumes that the group would be. He looks around at some of the destroyed buildings, and suddenly remembers that his might have been looted. Disregarding Dax, he begins to gallop to his apartment building, which is luckily near. He gallops panickedly up the stairs of the building and into his and Fracture's apartment room, incredibly relieved to find that his life's work of papers and audio cassettes, and Fracture's life's work of machines, are undamaged. He takes as much as he can and puts it in a secret compartment behind a wall, lined with metal, that he had installed for a time like this. He closes and locks it, then turns some things over to make it appear that the room had been looted, grabs the aforementioned torture gun, and runs to the museum. 5. Sinusoid looks at Dax, waiting for a response from Chaotic, feeling terrible about his own thoughts. He knows Dax's efforts to find Rave and stuggle with feeling useless, the same thing that both he and Fracture had also felt. The intense empathy of seeing another whom he could not help in this much emotional pain is too much to handle; he releases a very small and quiet scream and turns to punch the nearest tree, while apologizing to it.
  6. Realizing that Dax and Rave would be leaving, Sinusoid sighs sadly, but he stops at Rave's response that signified that he might not really be losing a friend, then feels bad again as Dax defies it. He wants to ask to go with them, but feels that him not knowing either of them as much as they know eachother, he would be left out, as he had always been until he had met Fracture. He simply says, without anything else to say, "You should agree..."
  7. Sinusoid continues to stare at Rave, not wanting to look at Dax during the awkward silence. As Chaotic suddenly appears behind him, he jumps back unusually far, almost falling, then is startled by Dax's sound, and he turns to hit him in the face, stopping his hoof only centimeters away. He says with momentarily accellerated breathing, "Sorry... you scared me..." and stays silent for the remainder of the conversation. He backs away slowly as Rave unexpectedly attacks Chaotic, very glad that Rave was not on his back when he woke up. Without adequate magical and certainly not physical power, he knows from experience that he would just get hurt. He manages to say is a panicked and timid voice, "Don't do that; she made a truce." Fracture walks away from the ruins of the guard post, carrying a few weapons, armor pieces, and other metal parts. Seeing that the group is leaving, he attempts to gallop with all that he carries, and nears early enough to see Scare defending her marefriend. "They're gay too... that'll make things easier," he says to himself. He then says loudly enough for the whole group to hear, after looking around for a moment, "Where is Sinusoid? I must have missed something."
  8. After some stupidly tedious hours technical difficulties, I have finally attached the song here. _Studio Test.mp3
  9. Sinusoid is happy, but does not smile. "I'm glad to have met you, then." He mostly listens to Dax, not being one to talk much unless he is explaining something that he knows much about, for which he would be difficult to stop. "I understand what you mean by Rave wanting privacy, and we should probably take him to this place, but what is it?" Hearing the request, he carefully sets Rave down and examines him. "He appears to be burnt, although I know that this did not happen... My magic isn't very amazing; it's actually just a lot of creative ways to use telekinesis."
  10. Sinusoid's eyes widen, his only common emotional expression, understanding Dax's joke. "That... that is ingenious; it must become a common phrase." "Of course I can be your friend... I have few myself." "I think that Rave will be fine, and it appears that we have surpressed that spirit... or... something... that has clearly been inside of him for a while."
  11. "If you know of a place where Rave can recieve the proper medical attention, it would be the best idea to take him there... I've actially been meaning to follow him since I saw him a few days ago, for the first time in years." In response to Dax's last statement, Sinusoid says, "Actually, I don't know; what can you consider me to be? Speaking of that, what did you mean earlier by 'throwing my name'?"
  12. "You did tell me your last name up there, and I honestly think that you should change it; I can immediately tell that you are quite different from the rest of your family, and I also find it rather unusual that families with bad reputations all share a last name, like yours and Rave's." Sinusoid stops as Dax continues to talk, then says, "I'm... not actually very smart; I just do many things that others perceive as intelligent, like... I like to read a lot, nonfiction only; I'm currently building an informationaly dense constructed language; and I do much inventing with Fracture, my... Nevermind that last word." He silently shakes his head, not wanting an apple as offered.
  13. "I'm not really Rave's... friend... but I did know him years ago, and we had no problem with eachother; I'm quite surprised at what he has become... You shouldn't owe me for this, because I'm just happy to feel useful..." As Dax begins to pick up Rave, Sinusoid stops him and puts Rave onto his own back. "You're hardly strong enough to walk, so you shouldn't carry another pony." Waiting for the lift, he answers the request; "My name is... uh... Sinusoid Mixolydian..." He hesatates to say this, as most ponies are confused by his name consisting of obscure and uncommon words. "They're scientific and musical terms, respectively."
  14. Sinusoid refrains from introducing himself. Breathing heavily, he uses some of the last of his magical energy to telekinetically form a seal over both ponies' wounds and place pressure on them. He uses a spell that he had created very recently to help them regain a correct amount of oxygenation in their blood by accelerating the movement of air into their lungs. "I appologize if that feels weird," he says while reaching into the mentioned kit, pulling out the bandage and covering Rave's wounds, then Dax's.
  15. Seeing that his magic is not doing well enough to help stop the sickening pain of the green pony, Sinusoid is panicking to the point in which he begins to loose control of his muscles. He maximizes the amplitude of his sound, and all of the crystals shatter almost immediately, then creates a large sound wave that radiates from around Dax, launching all of the remaining granular pieces away from him. Many of the pieces hit Sinusoid like a sandblast, creating a kind of pain that he had not felt for years, since an incident with a belt sander. But suddenly, everything just stops, and he asks the two ponies before him, also nearly void of energy, "Is... is there something that I should help with?"
  16. Sinusoid quickly stands, not caring at the moment that he would only allow Fracture to call him "Sinu", saying to Rave, "I'm glad that you remember me; I've been meaning to talk to you for a while." He initiates his high-frequency sound magic, which is able to shatter the crystal shards, though it takes a longer than usual time because they were generated with dark magic.
  17. Sinusoid had been watching the rooftop from the ground, using his magic to listen to what Dax had been saying. He thinks, "That green, oddly stripey pony is great, and that is a great speech... I'd go and help, but I seem to have virtually no impact on others whatsoever." He continues watching, seeing what could be assumed to be the evil inside of Rave trying to hurt Dax. "This could be a problem, considering his apparently lower self-esteem... I should probably go up there now, at least to see the awsome magical power of Rave before he potentially dies." Dax begins to be attacked, and Sinusoid makes a quick, panicked decision. Knowing that it would take too long to get to the top with conventional methods, he decides to use his sonic air compression spell. Now directly adjacent to the building, he magically compresses the air below him, then releases it to propel him into the air in a somewhat stupid-looking manner. Going dangerously too far above the building, he fearfully says to himself, "That might have been a minor miscalculation," and aims to land on the large, obvoiusly evil pony, hoping that they are solid enough to break his fall.
  18. "My name is not Fracture; it's Sinusoid. He's Fracture." Sinusoid points to the pony mentioned. "And, Chaotic, are you saying that you can't actually save Buzz? Then I sincerely hope that Hits did not hear what you had said." He looks at Banner again; "I don't think that I should give her a break; that was mean, and I am moderately depressed now."
  19. Sinusoid sighs heavily; "That was definitely not nice. This is what I mean by things that are fragmenting the group, and I needed to do a sizable bit of thinking to choose the 'right' one. Scare, good job for... suddenly remembering this at a very convenient time... I guess..."
  20. Sinusoid reconsiders, "That... that creates a problem... six thousand ponies is only a minor fraction of the city's population, though still a significant number, though they are not all endangered... How do you know this number? Also, who will die? Medical science permits resurrection without any of these consequences."
  21. About to join Fracture in finding things in the rubble, Sinusoid overhears Chaotic giving choices, and begins to calculate the consequences, thinking, "What would save more ponies? Most civillians are already leaving or have left the city, and the invincible Scare will obvoiusly regain her magic soon anyway..." He still remains slightly frustrated with her and Fear about defying physics. "So Buzz, being both trained for combat and apparently flawless, also being saved, should be the best choice." He nears Banner slightly and says, "Choosing Buzz should be statistically best."
  22. As Fracture is away from all of the others, trying to salvage things from the destroyed parts of the guard post, Sinusoid continues to be optimistic; "Why are we fighting? I have difficulty seeing why we can't manage to work together without arguing several minutes later, and it's frankly stupid. Buzz here, he did not participate in this once... I apologize for being impulsive and confrentational earlier, but that can be amended; all of this can be amended... Revenge in this case is not petty; it is just." He stops, begins to walk to the destroyed building, and says, "I'm sorry; that was terrible." He appears to suddenly change his mind as Banner begins to walk away, and he turns again; "Nevermind; that was still better than what I've seen in the past few minutes. If I can contribute anything to this group, I will hold it together, so don't leave. DON'T DO IT."
  23. Sinusoid stops as he hears the evil sounding speech of the pony on top of the building, and the demons disappear. He looks around to see Hits crying, realizing what had happened to Buzz, and knowing that any hope for survival was gone several seconds after he was stabbed. His eyes also wet slightly, despite hardly knowing the victim, for the somewhat monumental consequences. He becomes very angry, plotting for revenge immediately. "Revenge will be creative... I will use all of the best ideas from my and Fracture's years of thought... I wonder if he still has the torture gun."
  24. Sinusoid shrugs, seeing that all of the others were doing something important, and continues to fight outside from a long distance. This time, he tries his untested frictional spell, and Fracture goes inside of the building after assuming what is about to happen. He magically rubs together the air particles surrounding a demon to the point in which the enormous friction created causes it to seem to combustionally evaporate, without any remains falling to the ground. As this continues, Fracture is watching, not knowing what to do, seeing that the smoke is imparing some of his allies' fighting, and he yells, "Sinu, lift the smoke; you're adding to it!" Sinusoid stops fighting for a moment, and produces a broad sonic wave that disperses the smoke immediately, then continues, thinking, "I am so creative with my limited magic."
  25. Sinusoid makes a few basic calculations as he initiates his magic, saying to the group, "It would be a good idea to protect your ears." He begins to sonically displace the air around some of the demons, propelling them to the ground at fatal speeds that would otherwise be nearly impossible to be created by a pony with equal magical power. Being looked at strangely by Fracture, he stops and says, "Am I not... allowed to do that?"
