Apparently, she's nocturnal. Sleep during the day, stay awake all night. It does make sense though. Celestia handles all the daytime matters and make sure the sun stays in it's place, while Luna does the same with the night. She probably slept through the whole wedding and changeling invasion. Hence the "What did I miss?" at the end of the episode.
