  1. I watched Charm City Kids on HBO Max. Nothing groundbreaking, but overall a compelling well done drama.
  2. The scene of Coraline confronting her "fake" Mother. That was freaky.
  3. Samurai/Super Samurai- Or as I like to call it, the 4kids dub of Shinkenger. They made the mistake of trying to Americanize a Sentai season with deep roots to Japan, resulting in a season that lazily copies/translates the beats of Shinkenger verbatim. Megaforce/Super Megaforce - Easily the worst season of Power Rangers to day. It's poorly written, it's lazy in almost every aspect (characters, story, villains, use of Sentai footage, etc), and the Legendary Battle is very underwhelming. It tries to hard to recreate the feeling of MMPR, that it come off as a rip-off. Megaforce clearly wanted to modernize the formula, but only revealed how stale and dated it had become. Dino Charge/Dino Super Charge - The best season of the Neo-Saban Era by far. It's far from perfect and the ending is a bit dodgy, but I think it's held together by the chemistry between the extremely likable cast of characters. Ninja Steel/Super Ninja Steel - I'm a bit more lenient on this season since Nininger being such a terrible season gave it such little to work with. Ninja Steel at times feels like a parody of Power Rangers with how the characters are handled, the childish humor, and the lack of any kind of stakes or tension in the story. A pretty boring season all around. Beast Morphers - It's not without its flaws, but Beast Morphers is far and away the best Power Rangers season since RPM or Dino Charge. It actually feels like the people involved with the show put genuine thought and effort into the story, the characters, and the action. Also, Steel is the MVP of this show.
  4. I watched Sound of Metal. A gripping and emotionally compelling drama.
  5. One Night in Miami - A powerful and gripping drama about historical figures. As well as an impressive directorial debut from Regina King. 9 out of 10.
  6. 8 Mile - Powerful and gripping drama that manages to avoid being a vanity project.
  7. He's surrounded by friends and family who love him, who accept him for who he is, and respect how he helps in the community.
  8. Love the new layout of the website.

  9. If it wants to attract enough viewers, I say it should go somewhere like Adult Swim, HBO, or even Netflix.
  10. Wonder Woman 1984 - Not quite the knockout the original was, but still a worthy sequel. 7 out of 10.
  11. Soul (2020) - The lastest Pixar film and my favorite film of 2020. It's funny, it's thought-provoking, it's gorgeous to look at, and it is immensely heartfelt. 10 out of 10
  12. The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) - An exciting if unconventional action film set during Christmas.
  13. We know Applejack (and the Apple Family)'s accent is Southern, but what kind of Southern, specifically? There's different kinds.
  14. A double-edged sword in that making a show about teenage girls has a lot less novelty than a show about pastel colored horses. And also, since you're using characters that are well-established in the DC Universe, there's a certain expectation for how they should be portrayed.
  15. You Can't Take It With You (1938) based on the 1936 play.
  16. Just bought the Lightning Collection Dino Thunder Red Ranger. Looking forward to adding another favorite ranger of mine to the collection.

  17. The show will finish its first season this month and has a second season confirmed for next year. But I will not he surprised if Season 2 is the end.
  18. Cartoon Network in general feels like it's been suffering with an identity crisis in the last 4-5 years. Especially now that their original cartoons are moving to or premiering exclusively on HBO Max.
  19. This will have MAJOR implications for the industry and the future of theaters.
  20. True, but the majority of the characters surrounding him were female.
  21. I think @Megas and @Sparklefan1234 have pointed out most of the big reasons, but I'd like to add one as well: Cartoon Network does doesn't treat shows that aren't Teen Titans Go well. Except for Steven Universe. But even that show suffered from Cartoon Network's poor and inconsistent scheduling.
