    History:
Abomination is an American Thrash/Death Metal band that was formed in 1987 by singer Paul Speckmann (Master, etc..) as a side band to his main band Master. The band released two studio albums in 1990 and 1991 and an E.P. in 1999. The band was active from 1987 to 1993 then in 1999 to record one final E.P. called The Final War, they had one last reunion in 2011 before calling it quit.

    Recommended material:
Their two first albums: Abomination (1990) and Tragedy Strikes (1991) are really great and different from each other as far as the production and the style of their music goes. I would recommend these songs if you want some solid Thrash/Death Metal:

Before beginning this first post of the blog I would like to introduce to you all this blog.

For each day of the 100 days limit, I will introduce a Metal band that is really underrated IMO.
And all of the bands will be classed in an alphabetical order.
My goal with this blog is basically to make you discover some rare diamonds buried under the ground, forgotten by the Heavy Metal world.
So whitout further ado, let's begin this blog.
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________

    Band: A.R.G
    Country: Finland
Genre: Thrash Metal (Past) Thrash/Death Metal (Present)
    Lyrical themes: Pollution, Death, Politics
    Logo:

For my first entry, I have one of the main Thrash Metal band from Finland.
The band released two studio albums and they are going to release they're next album called Redemption from Refraim really soon after 24 years of abence, their last album being One World Without the End (1991).

    History:
The band was formed in 1987 in the town of Kuusamo in Finland by their former vocalist Aku Raaska when A.R.G. stood for Aku Raaska Group but when he left the members changed the signification of it to Ancient Rotten Graveguards. Then Tepa Karjalainen took his place and also filled the role for the bassist of the band and he's still in the band as of today. Then in 1989 and 1991 they released the two great Entrance and One World Without the End albums. After diverse lineup changes, the band decided to disband in 1994. But, in 2011 they made a comeback and now they will release their newest album called Redemption from Refraim.

    Why I like this band:
I like their unique style of playing their Thrash Metal. In their album One World Without the End, they have a great style and they proved in songs like
, and Straybullet. Even today after 24 years without producing new material, they proved that they still make decent musicTheir newest song, Equilibrium

From my past that I can't seem to remember now.
Due to recent views on these dynamic formations in the void.
I surely can say that these are my last words as a normal mass.
Because I am now transmutating from a known specie to an unknown irregular shape.
But I never forget about these properties that made a little part of this countershape.
This part that made some of these agressions transformable.
They are the elements who created these dynamic shapes.
And they helped me mutating into a neverending cycle of constant movement.
But now, I got to go.
Eternity calls me for this voyage where forces will collide.
Bringing me to another state of mutation.

Before starting my second experimental poem, I would like to talk about the influences I had to start doing these: my poems are mainly influenced by the Italian futuristic who took it's course from 1909 to 1944, people back then were interested in the future forgotting about pasts values and that's what maked people creating really dynamic type of art during those years. That's basically the core of my poems.
So let's continue with the second one:

When I see darkness, I basically hear nothing.
It is a normal aspect of this type of visual aggresion.
Right now, my thoughts are in an endless metamorphosis state.
Unable to accept that my mutation will never change.
The static void is coming to force a static mutation inside me.
But, in the inside of my mental aspects.
I remain, no external force can change my constant mental mutation.
The void must accept it and he does fear my dynamic aspect of my cranium.
    And... it became static again.
Not even close for an influence and then my internal thoughts dynamically rests.
    Slowly but surely...
“Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.”

So before starting my first Experimental Poem, i'd like to introduce the concept.
This type of poem that I invented is composed of no rhymes whatsoever and of really experimental sentences that represents concept of fascination (Technology, the void, the cosmos, etc...)
and at the end of the poem there will be a quote which will define the moral of this poem.
So without further ado let's start this first one:

I was a young boy, curious of what the universe was made of.
Then, without a sound, everything turned to endless shapes.
With my curious eyes, full of bright intents.
I was staring at what was forging in this endless void of madness.
I also saw agressions from what seemed to be an eternal and continuous cycle.
Beneath it, there was my past, full of trangressing pictures.
But, then the shapes turned into dynamic masses, telling the future was near.
Interested, my eyes looked at the things and they were telling me that my end was not in the future.
And if I would look at it more often then maybe my life could be free from those countershapes that forged my past.
Then, none, that... is the only thing I could possibly describe of what happened next.
    None, yeah they were none.
“Forgetting is something time alone takes care of, but forgiveness is an act of volition, and only the sufferer is qualified to make the decision”
    ― Simon Wiesenthal

For the first entry of this blog, I'm going to present you my project.

    Musical Genre(s):
In this Horrage project, I'm going to focus on the Progressive/Thrash Metal genre

    Influences:
My influences are Voivod, Coroner and Vektor
Voivod for the experimental side of their music (For a great example check out their Killing Technology and Dimension Hatröss albums) and their lyrical themes (Technophobia, Future, etc...)
Coroner for the technical side of their music and for the progressive metal aspects.
    Vektor for the musical ambiance.

    Explanation of the project name:
It's very simple, It's a fusion between Horror and Rage = Horrage (Simple as That)

    Band Logo:

My logo is inspired from the Voivod logo which is like that:

    Songs title (No lyrics yet):
Mechanical Warfare: Will talk about the futuristic and technological war and the fear of the population of earth because of the ascension of that.
Apocalyptic Periods Of Tommorow: Will talk about future chaos with technologies of tomorrow.
Horrage: Will talk about the rage and the horror that a test subject felt during experiments on him.
Into The System: Will talk about technological systems, hacking and the corruption of it.
Attack Of The Micro-Organisms: Will talk about parasital diseases (maybe fictionnal and/or futuristic I don't know yet...)
Maze Of The Psychomind: Will talk about the mental personality of a psychopath.
Technophobia: Will talk about a society who fears technology, then consequences happens.
Suicidal Experiments: Will talk about people performing experiments on themselves leading to suicide by accident.

    Other Infos:
I will be using FL Studio for the drums and Imitone (A fairly new software, which is only in Beta) for the bass and the guitar. I made my logo using Photoshop CS6. More info about my project coming soon on this blog.

    Thank you for your attention!

So as we head into the much anticipated 2015 year, this has been a great year for Metal in general with great releases from great bands. So here are my favorite Metal albums, in no particular order, for the year of 2014.
(Note that there are others but in those I haven't really listen to all of the songs in them
Blood In Blood Out by Exodus

This album was a bit attacked by the fans, mainly because of the vocals of Steve Souza, I think that he has done an excellent job at the vocals and with the great riffs of Gary Holt, this was an excellent combo that made this a must buy for thrash fans from all around the world.

Favorite tracks: Black 13, Blood In Blood Out, Salt The Wound, Honor Killings and Food For The Worms
    Rating: 92%

    Black 13:

    Esoteric Warfare by Mayhem

This album was a pure audio massacre from the start until the end. Attila's vocals were fitting with most of the songs in the album, the blast beats were perfectly done, in harmony with the devastating melody played by the rest of the band. Even if some parts were a bit too experimental, Mayhem did put a great display of what today's Black Metal music is all about. I also love the lyrical themes in the songs, the theme that is mostly use here are psychological warfares, a strange concept yet interesting.

Favorite Tracks: Watchers, Trinity and Throne Of Time
    Rating: 84%

    Earthborn Evolution by Beyond Creation

Those guys from Montreal in the province of Quebec (Pure laine tabarnak (get it? lol)) knows how to play tech. death metal and they proved it once again in this new release. My favorite thing from this album is the bass player (BTW called Dominic "Forest" Lapointe), because of the way he plays the instrument, it adds a charm to the melody already played by the rest of the band. This album is way more experimental than it's predecessor (The Aura) and it lacks a little bit of the brutality that The Aura had but it is still solid Death Metal from beginning to end.

Favorite Tracks: Elusive Reverence, Sous La Lueur De L'empereur, Earthborn Revolution and Theatrical Delirium
    Rating: 90%

    Tibi et Igni by Vader

What an impressive effort with this release by this band which will never stop to amaze me. This album is just really agressive yet so advanced and doesn't lack originality at all. All of the songs from this album are a must listen and the tempo from a song to another is really great. I also love the immersion of classical music in some tracks which brings an ambiance of some sort and helped me go along with some songs on the album.

Favorite Tracks: Go To Hell, Where Angels Weep, Hexenkessel, Abandon All Hope, The Eye Of The Abyss, The End
    Rating: 97%

    Hexenkessel:
