  1. Cats do whatever the fuck they want, and whatever gets them food. They do recognize their owners, though, and some cats will definitely enjoy the attention their owners give them even without the promise of food. Both our cats hung out outside all day, and we know they were fed in some other houses as well, but whenever I or one of my parents came home in the afternoon or evening they'd recognize the sound of the car engine and come running. Whether they have complex feelings for us or not, I don't know. Ultimately humans are animals just as much as every other creature, so if we can do it, who's to say they can't, if likely not in the same way we do.
  2. Definitely. I've had tons, but the biggest one would probably be Lucy on Elfen Lied.
  3. Pink, no contest. There are pink things that look fine, but on the whole I really don't like the color.
  4. I'm not really talking about the gameplay, I was more referring to the moments where the story itself became more serious and dramatic rather than comedic. The gameplay was a bit awkward throughout, but that was very much part of the setting. But while I generally liked most characters, I never really connected with them emotionally in the way that others seem to. I didn't want to kill them, but I didn't really care for them either. It was when the game moved away from mediocre humor that I think it really showed its class, but even though those moments were very strong I just don't think they can raise my opinion of the game as a whole above 'it was okay, I guess'.
  5. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad game, I just don't think it deserves the mountains of praise it's gotten. The part of the game where the backstory is told late in the run, the lab part of the True Pacifist run and the atmosphere of the Genocide run are great, as is the music (specifically the main theme and its derivatives). Basically, the moments where the game is serious are the moments where it shines. In terms of gameplay and humor, though, I just didn't really feel it to the point it was more annoying than endearing.
  6. I'd say both, but it really depends on the game. Both AAA and indie games can be shit, but both can be great as well. Ultimately, I judge more by the game itself than its heritage.
  7. I really don't think the characters in Undertale are all that good, nor are the jokes. It has great moments, but the game as a whole, to me, really isn't that good.
  8. I do, generally. It's usually the only post I read with any attention. Occasionally I'll scan a couple of others, but most of the time I read the first post, answer the questions, then move on to the next thread.
  9. You gotta share, you gotta care. Yeah, it was intentional, but that doesn't make it any less awkward.
  10. The one mask I care to wear is this one: But in public transport, I use a plain one:
  11. I haven't watched it since Clarkson, Hammond, and May left, but I used to love it, and I currently love The Grand Tour. I don't know which episode was my favorite one, actually, probably one of the specials, or the 24-hour endurance episode, the camper van episode, the amphibious vehicles episode, or the ambulance episode. And that's only the ones I can quickly think of. The one thing I really didn't care for was the 'star in a reasonably priced car' segment. Yeah, some interviews were funny, but I usually just skipped them.
  12. We'll be fine. As time goes on people will build up immunity so the spread will slow down, and I'm pretty sure it won't be that long before vaccine trials will pick up speed. Plus, no matter what the media say, a large amount of patients really don't get that sick from it. The threat is more in the quick spread than the actual mortality rate.
  13. Of the ones I'm currently doing on Duolingo, Hungarian. The words are easy enough to understand, I just keep screwing up the word order. From all the languages I can think of, though, anything tonal, and African clicking language.
  14. I'm a big fan of them as long as they're not on me or in any position where they might fall on me from a ceiling or something. But beyond that, they eat annoying bugs so they're all right in my book.
  15. I don't have secrets bad enough that going to the press would make a good story, so be my guest and try to ruin me. Even my most embarrassing moments really wouldn't do more than elicit some chuckles at best, it's hardly going to ruin my life. If I did have secrets that I have to keep no matter what, then this pony would sadly disappear without a trace.
  16. Yeah, some people probably do. But honestly, who cares? People who judge me based solely on the kind of shows I like to watch are too shallow even for me.
  17. I love it, but I don't drink it much anymore because I generally don't think to buy it. I drink a lot of lattes, though, I guess, which are mainly milk anyway. I also had raw milk once and it was absolutely amazing. I seriously need to get some more of that next time I visit my parents.
  18. Hot and Spicy. Ironic, really, because I can't take actual spicy food at all and I don't like it. Still, the Pringles flavor is easily my favorite, though I kind of like most flavors, anyway.
  19. Yes, I love them. The bigger the better. I love the lightning, love the sound of the thunder, everything.
  20. With that level of sophistication, is their intelligence truly still artificial? If a robot has her own personality and desires and traits and whatever, and I happen to like those things, and she's good-looking, then I really wouldn't care if she's a robot or not. I'm not particularly interested in having kids, so that wouldn't be much of a hindrance either. "Just because you're filled with nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts doesn't mean you're not real." - Ruby Rose (the RWBY one, not the Australian actress)
  21. Nope. I want to be responsible for me and no one else. If someone tried to assume total control over a fandom people would just leave and begin a different community, anyway. Besides, what fun would it be if no one ever challenged your views? You would never be able to have a discussion because everyone would be bending over backwards to accommodate you.
  22. I'm from the Netherlands, and the furthest I've ever gone is Aruba at around 7800 km.
  23. Honestly, I doubt that would help me. I care about my friends' problems because they're my friends, but having to listen to the issues of total strangers...no thanks. Besides, none of my issues are bad enough that they really disturb my day-to-day life. The only reason I ever tried any therapy at all was to see if it could give me any new insights into why I do or think certain things, but all it ended up doing was frustrating me because it was just too slow for me.
  24. I use those quite a bit, myself, but ultimately I doubt that anything I do online is ever really private. I don't really care, though, since I'm not the one who has to program the algorithms to make sense of it all, and I block most ads so it's not like they're turning a huge profit on me.
