  1. I feel like most franchises are overrated, honestly. There's only a few that really seem to hold up over time and even fewer that don't fall from grace midway through. And then, of course, there's the more subjective stuff where my own taste in games dictates what I see as 'overrated'. But yeah, a list, I guess:

    - Mario

    - Pokemon

    - Elder Scrolls

    - Call of Duty

    - FNAF (Why even IS it a franchise. smh.)

    - Uncharted (Just in MY opinion. The games are good, but this is about being overrated rather than overall quality.)

    - Tomb Raider

    - Grand Theft Auto

I could probably say Halo too, but my judgement is clouded by my own bias on that one because I truly enjoy the games a lot.

It still doesn't excuse the removal of offline and other content.   By the way, when doing Esports you could expect sore losers who'll blame the best player for their own failures

It kinda does, depending on the budget and development time of a game. Esports is still gonna be a costly investment, so its as simple as diverting money out of casual things to put into competitive things. Gaming is an industry, and game-making is a business after all. They want what is profitable.

Huh, never seen something like that before. Overwatch isn't even a full eSports yet and it's already hitting the news haha~ not the best start.

  3. eSports generally has more money in it, and that is the very simply reason. eSports involves massive organisations, huge publicity for games involved, gets broadcasted on TV and online, and big sponsors like Nike and Red Bull are even getting involved. Arcade modes and more casual gaming does not offer that same expansive plan for post-launch profit.

  4. Solar's wings ruffled as she listened to Amber speak French. She had no idea why, but she liked it.

"Oooh," She purred, pattering her hooves on the table, "you're a pretty hot 'miel' yourself~"

She smirked as Amber made her order of diet sarsaparilla. "What, no alcohol? C'mon hun, we're on vacation! Get a lil' wild~" She leaned over and gently ruffled her marefriend's mane.

Amber giggled a little at Solar's misuse of the French word for honey, a glint in her crystal blue eyes from the light of the candle on the table. But instead of correcting her or saying anything in response, she simply rolled her eyes knowingly and beamed at Solar. "Oh, you."

Her tongue poked out of her maw ever so slightly as the pegasus felt a familiar hoof running through her mane, and it merely prompted another giggle to form in her throat. Amber sat back in her chair and smiled warmly. "No, I-I shouldn't drink." She said, staring off across the room at the plethora of ponies dining on posh cuisine. "I mean, I've barely even touched a glass of cider since-" She turned her head again with a soft expression. "Just, y'know, I shouldn't drink." The pegasus repeated, placing her forehooves on the table in front of her.

  6. Um, did we watch the same conference? :P They're E3 this year shows exactly the kind of things they're doing to bring themselves back up from the disastrous place that Don Mattrick left them in back in 2013. Moving to a focus on both the console platform and Windows 10 is pretty much key for them to last in this generation due to the difference in sales between the Xbox One and the Playstation 4.

  7.

"Oh, I know right?" She sighed, rolling her eyes, "Next thing you know, some poor shmuck is gonna be in there begging us to take them with us. And they won't be able to fight for crap so we gotta keep loads of monsters off them while they wander off somewhere."

Amber blinked a few times, before rolling her eyes at Solar with a soft smirk on her muzzle. "You've probably jinxed it now. Knowing our luck, we'll be fortunate if it's only one pony they find down there. Who knows how many stragglers could be hiding on this mammoth of a ship."

Solar had no idea what Amber was saying, but she couldn't help but look at her with lowered eyelids and a coy smirk on her muzzle. "I love when you talk fancy." She purred.   She wriggled out of her bomber jacket and draped over the back of her chair, and winked at her marefriend. "You assume right." She leaned a shoulder on the backrest and grinned up at the waiter. "I'll take an apple cider, please."

"What can I say?" Amber laid back against her chair with a relaxed, yet playful grin spread across her muzzle. "After all...La vie est une fleur dont l'amour est miel." The pegasus continued, fluently adapting a soft french accent as she spoke. "And you, la chérie, are the sweetest miel I've ever met."

Amber wiggled her eyebrows at her marefriend and giggled before clearing her throat and turning her attention back to the waiter. "And, uh, could you add a diet sarsaparilla with that apple cider order, please?" She added, beaming. The waiter simply nodded and disappeared with a full pad of orders.

  9. Considering everything I consume has some form of meat in it for the most part, I doubt I would last long sticking to any form of vegetarian or vegan diet :P

Like, I've always had meats with dinner and that's just habit for me now. Changing that up would be scarehhhh D:
