I'm a pegasister and feel pretty welcome. I consider the term brony to be gender neutral in most cases. Everyone is welcome here regardless of gender.

I don't talk about it around them and never meant for them to find out in the first place.

My mom doesn't mind and is supportive of it.

My dad has the wrong idea about bronies and is against it, he always brings it up to mock me. I don't really care though.

I love this show so much.
Season five has been great so far.

He may have made some good points and I can understand why he quit the fandom. There are certainly fans like that out there but the same can be said for every fandom. There are still plenty of sane fans that encourage discussion and criticism. I feel as though this was the wrong way to go about it...In this video he comes across as whiny and pretentious, stereotyping all bronies from a few negative experiences. He could have at least not been so pathetic about it. There was no reason to attack the fandom and the show and get this set off because of one bad episode.

The episode was objectively bad, or at least boring, but that doesn't mean the overall quality of the show has deteriorated as much as he made it seem. (In my opinion) It has certainly changed and evolved from how things were back in the first two seasons, but I see that as a good thing. The show is getting better or at least has consistently good quality--other than a few bad episodes like Appleloosa's Most Wanted--but no show is perfect and we should not expect it to be.

I have never used the 'skip the bad' button on any video, brony analysis or otherwise. I think that discussion and differing opinions can be healthy. It's good to recognize when something is flawed, but continue to be a fan anyway. However he's acting like its flaws personally offend him...If he doesn't enjoy the show anymore, then by all means he should go ahead and leave. My point is just that there were better ways to do this.

I won't miss him. I haven't enjoyed a Tommy Oliver video in a long time.

I started reading this webcomic the other day, and ended up hooked. I somehow got caught up on all of it two days. I enjoyed it immensely..the characters are well-written and likeable, the art and writing is nice, and it has an unexpectedly good story. I'll definitely be keeping up with it from now on.

I love bat ponies, they're adorable.
It would be amazing to see them in the show more in the future.

I don't really remember it clearly but Discord showed up in one of my dreams. And in a couple others everyone in the dream became ponies, without any comprehensible story or explanation.

This was my first OC, Ivy. She doesn't have much of a backstory yet. ^^

Madoka Magica is one of my favorite anime series of all time. I've  watched it several times and love it in spite of its flaws, I personally think the series is a beautiful work of art. My favorite character is Homura, but I also love Kyoko and Sayaka.

I can see your points about Madoka, and she is like that at the beginning...but she's still a good character and takes a more active role near the end of the series. May be biased because of how much I adore this show but I think she was a decent main character.

I like him, his videos can be funny sometimes and he's a genuinely good guy. I respect him, but I can understand why some people don't like him or find him annoying.

Should I re-design Emerald...? Thinking about at least de-saturating her mane and maybe changing her cutie mark.

His design isn't finalized, but here's another attempt at my bat pony OC. I feel like he needs something else...not completely sure about the colours, even the mane style and cutie mark...

Also, some chibi things of some of the mane 6.

My thinking voice is usually just a slightly higher-pitched version of my normal voice, narrating everything in more detail and more articulately than my actual speech.
