  1. I would say 2 major things.

    1. 4chan. It's a foodfight free-for-all over there. But i am actually very entertained by this place and sometimes, you actually find threads that are worth participating in. My favorite boards are /mlp/, /sp/, /asp/, /vr/, /tv/, /mu/, /co/ and /x/.

    2. Not sure if it counts, but i say wrestling, since alot of people hate it for the simple fact, that it's fake. I see it like a movie, a TV show, or a play, which are also very fake, but Wrestling is alot more physical and the pain is real.

  2. Well, this is just the alternative for me, is it not? Either I can hate her for what she's become, or I can love her for what she has become.

And does there exist any pony greater than Twilight? I certainly think not. She clearly has no equal, not even in Celestia, who has been constantly knocked down so that she can look better. Her friends truly do look like immature children in comparison, and they're clearly never going to accomplish anything close to what she's accomplished, so there's absolutely no way I can ever see any of them as superior to Twilight.

So...perhaps I can try the alternative for a while.

Honestly dude. Stop it. You make a far bigger deal out of this, then it actually is. You sound like a child who is throwing himself on the ground, throwing around with his arms and legs, because he dosen't get his toy.

  3. *sigh*

Yes, all hail the Great and Magnificent Twily, the greatest pony who has ever lived, or will ever live! The pony who already exceeds her once-great mentor in every way imaginable, and whose friends have the mental capacity of children in comparison, and should feel honored to be in her glorious presence!

You win, Hasbro. I can truly deny Twilight's greatness no longer! *froths at mouth*

Dude, stop with that attitude. You don't make yourself look good.

Instead, just say that you both agree to disagree, instead of that immature response.

  4. I agree with you whole heartly.

Most of my need in entertainment, is on the internet. I watch my tv shows, movies, wrestling shows, etc. mostly on the internet. I have a big HDTV, but i mostly use it to watch DVDs and Blu-Rays and play my video games on it and i watch live football (soccer) games on it.

I think cable TV will die in the next 15 or 20 years, maybe even faster. TV will become a thing of the past.

  5. It's not so much that I hate her as it is I hate who she has become (as well as the corporate decisions responsible). There was once a time when episodes actually called her out for the mistakes she made, and she learned from them, and there was also once a time when she was not made to look significantly superior to her friends whenever possible. I simply no longer find her to be a relatable or even enjoyable character.

Like i said, you beat it to death. I saw this post of yours, in 100 different variations. It's nice that you have your opinion. But you shouldn't beat it over our heads.

This is not me being angry at you for not liking Twilight, it's me being a bit tired of hearing the same thing over and over again.

  6. Testing, Testing, 1,2,3, is an episode that I've always cited as an exception to the trend. I honestly don't know how it managed to slip through the cracks, but given that the lesson Twilight learns is pretty minor in the grand scheme of things, and given that Twilight was not the only who had made a mistake, I guess they kinda just let it go. She still doesn't come off looking any worse than her friends.

The fact that she never failed, nor learned from any mistake indicates otherwise. And that was something which was pretty much established as a requirement from the very beginning. Twilight not telling her friends about her power was Celestia's dumb decision, not hers.

Remember the rainbow flash that occurred in each of the mane six's eyes shortly before they received their key? It occurred at pretty much the exact moment the mane five realized the mistake they had made. For Twilight, it only happened after she made the decision to give up her power. In no way did she make any mistake, nor fail in any way in her own key episode. Except, of course, giving up her power with no backup plan in mind, but naturally, the plot was far too much on her side for that to be the disastrous error that it should have been.

You're right about her battle, though. It culminated to nothing and it honestly had no reason whatsoever to even exist, except for two reasons. One for fan pandering, and the other for painting Twilight as being the sole hero of all ponykind, while her friends are casually forced to the sidelines relying on her to save them.

Probably because Hasbro figured that making their entire main selection of characters alicorn princesses would not only lessen the uniqueness between them, but would also make the "princess" title seem like it amounts to nothing. Surely, you wouldn't also expect the mane five to receive their own individual castle playsets, would you?

This is exactly why I say that there's no need to worry about the mane five becoming alicorns as well. It's never going to happen. Because they're not "destined to win" like Twilight is. As far as the corporate side is concerned, everything Twilight receives, she pretty much only receives on the merit of being Twilight. It's simply the writers' job to make these accomplishments seem well-deserved.

At the very least, they're far less common than they used to be.

Clever we get it, you don't like her. You've pretty much beaten us over the head with this for months now.

It's like you have a personal vendetta against this fictional character, eventhough she has nothing done to you.

  7. You sound nervous. Is it because of my glasses? Do you know where i got them?

My father was a math professor, one night he went a little crazier then usual, so my mommy got the ruler to defend herself. He didn't like that.

He takes the ruler from her and faces me and says "why so intellectual?"
