Given that they're fan favourites and Japan loves monsters, I'd be very surprised if The Dazzlings with their siren counterparts don't get Kotobukiya figures.

Would you like some feedback on this?
Yes please, I am very open to feedback, including constructive criticism.

So I've been recording and posting song covers on my YouTube channel for a little while now, and now I've written and uploaded my first original Pony song, and it's a tribute to the lovely Coco Pommel. I acknowledge that my singing voice and guitar playing could still use some work, but I'm still quite pleased with how it turned out and hope you all like it too.

I'd say anything between 105 minutes to 2 hours (it should be at least 100 minutes without credits).

6/10. I do like Billy Joel, but I've never been a big fan of that song.

Over on Twitter, Taye Diggs, Liev Schrieber, Kristin Chenoweth and Emilly Blunt have officially revealed the names and designs of the characters they will be playing in the movie! The links have all been posted (or re-posted) here on the movie's official Twitter page: https://twitter.com/MLPMovie

Something completely different now (and from a brilliant film, by the way):

I saw La La Land the other day and thought it was simply brilliant. Terrific acting, fabulous music, stellar direction and choreography, and a wonderful love story at the heart of it all. A love letter to the classic musicals of yesteryear perfectly revitalised for contemporary audiences, this is a splendid romantic musical for old and new generations alike. I'll be rooting for this one at the Oscars.

I'm hyped for Smurfs: The Lost Village. The show was my favourite cartoon as a kid, and while I honestly thought the live-action films were fun for what they were, there's no denying that they were not good Smurfs movies. I'm hoping they get it right for this new one, and the trailers have me feeling optimistic.

Awesome! Thanks for finding the special. Just to let you all know though, the previous link no longer works. The uploader has since replaced it with a version without commercials. Here's the new link:

I'd have to say Kubo and the Two Strings was my fave, with second place going to Sing Street.

As others have said, the closest animated film released prior to MLP is The Lego Ninjago Movie two weeks earlier, and right now I honestly can't see that being a major threat. It seems like September isn't the best month for animation as evidenced by the average box office performances by Storks and Kubo and the Two Strings (which unfortunately also proves that glowing reviews don't always equal box office success). There's also already one Lego movie out next year with The Lego Batman Movie, will audiences/moviegoers really want another so soon? I don't know, and I also don't know if Ninjago is really that well known with the general public, at least not in comparison with standard Lego and Batman. I still think MLP will do just fine.

Bit late to update but here's the second part of my gifts:
Ross from Friends Funko Pop figure, Con Air Blu-ray, Game of Thrones Seasons 5 and 6 Blu-rays, Fall Out Boy - Save Rock & Roll CD, Bruno Mars - 24K Magic CD, a pop filter for my microphone, and a Derpy "I just don't know what went wrong!" T-shirt.

Now, after just hearing the news... in memory of another icon gone too soon.

Seems relevant, as it's just turned Crimbo over here.
I was just thinking the same thing!

When is your "bronyversary"?
in Sugarcube Corner
For me it's May 6th 2013. I had started watching the show from the beginning about a couple of weeks before then, and while I was really enjoying it I still wasn't sure I could call myself a fan or a brony at that point. But that specific date was when I first watched Winter Wrap Up, and after that episode, that's when I knew.
