Make it an Creature only deck that always get's one mana per turn. Enemy powerplays, you need to rely on your partner for Co-Operation bonuses to stay in game and eventually win. Automating pre-sets is easy. Thing is to make it interesting.

I think you could do some retard variation of MtG with few adjustments. MtG is confrontational and ponies should be not if you go with the feel of it. Cut the defense and re-gear it towards co-operation. Or make it play against a third party Antagonist deck that works by rules. Then you could maybe do with 80 or so and you could actually consider making it individual cards. Also revamp the mana system since it's powerplay focused. Oh that is so wrong. Where the fuck is Nyx?

There is a reason all Starting sets for every TCG is 300 or so. Just as Planned. Yep. They still sell them in blocks after a fashion but they are not proper "Blocks" of the ye olden times.

You'd be re-doing a lot of cards, I'm sure somewhere down the line you'd find a way to do it if there is a way. Any TCG needs about 300-400 cards to work in the first place on top of the core system so that it has enough complexity to be fun. Creativity is fine and all but sometimes you just need to have something that works. Making card game rules out of thin air is hard work and shitton of playtesting. Block is what MtG calls it's expansions. Because they sold them Expansions in "Blocks" long time ago. Name stuck, blocks did not.

Who says you can't pay for it later to get automagic updates and shit. Is just logical. I nearly always test games because quality issues and problems running. No reason to pay for product that does not work or is shit. With prices they sell games these days it's almost a neccesity to torrent shizzle.

Demo is garbage. trush meh, I booth et n plaid de demo. They added actual 3D card support that works. Yeah, they are not MC devs, they know how to update their game. That means the engine is updated too. Demo frametanks to 5 FPS all the time, release does not. And it's like less than 500mb.

And that demo is way behind. Trust me, you want to Torrent recent version just to see you can run it. Demo is a Tech Demo for basic features that misses shitton of stuff missing in the current version. Never mind the fact that release is stable. Demo crashes all the time. Torrents are the demos of this day and age.
