  1. I believe I have posted here before, but I suppose I would like to lend my perspective once more. From this, I may be able to see how my mindset has evolved and hopefully inspire someone to look further into their own perspectives. A person cannot be attracted to another without physical attraction. While one could argue that asexuality disproves this, I would argue that asexual people still value another's appearance, just not from a sexual perspective. A relationship where the minds involved are incompatable cannot work. Therefore, as long as those involved in a relationship are mentally compatable, physical attraction takes precedence, because the basis of a romantic relationship is attraction. While one can be attracted to another's mind, to be exclusively attracted to another's mind is platonic, and therefore physical attraction is the stronger basis of a romantic relationship. Physical attributes change of course, but so do mental attributes, so to say aging disproves me makes little sense. Alzheimer's would disprove that point.

However, from this I would conclude that friendship is more valuable than romance. I'd rather be able to care for another's mind than body.

  2. This song is mixed a bit quiet, but the orchestra seems to be genuine rather than sampled; it has that "analog warmth" type sound. The melody is memorable, but not repeated enough throughout the track to be fully effective. I like the thick brass instrumentation, however. It takes a fair amount of skill to correctly orchestrate brass. I give this track a 7/10 :3

  3. I've pretended to be in a post-apocalyptic wasteland on a journey to find my father a few times.

I dream of endlessly wandering a post-apocalyptic wasteland. I travel by foot, occationally with a companion, from the ruins of one city to another. My eyesight is spectacular; colors seems deeper, more real than reality. I don't wander for any reason other than a love of travel really. Unlike Earth, this land is flat and will never end; there's an infinity of adventures and wonders to be seen.

  4. My favorite setup for purely electronic music is Propellerhead's Reason, an Akai midi keyboard, and any electro sample packs from Prime Loops. If the song needs acoustic elements, I use a Shure sm58 for vocals. I use a pair of Shure sm57s with the x-y stereo miking technique for acoustic guitars.

  5. I have tried this with a couple cheap DAWs, and while I probably should do this with the ones I am considering, I must admit, that I have little knowledge when it comes to actually using a DAW. :adorkable: The main reason I was hesitant to try to demo the more expensive ones, is because I was afraid I wouldn't know enough to be able to use them properly, and thus, get an inaccurate idea of what it can do for me

Just spend a bit more time with the demo maybe. You could spend maybe a week on a single program just trying different things and seeing what you think :33
